UP 4014 Big Boy Westward Bound Tour w/ UP 1983 East - JR Davis Road Railroad Crossing, Roseville CA

(Filmed July 11, 2024) After leaving Elkhorn Boulevard my mom and I got ahead of the Big Boy in Roseville. I setup here at the JR Davis Yard Private Crossing to catch it. It didn’t get to Roseville until almost 6 PM as it briefly stopped at Haggin for both Amtraks 5 and 6 as both were running VERY late before continuing. I was also getting heads up about it as it got closer. Another railfanner came to my side where we both got it. This was my last catch of the day as it getting ready to be put on display and there was also a private event for UP employees only that happened after this. Before its arrival people were parked on the yard side of the crossing before being cleared out by UP Police. My mom and I played it safe. You can also see a yard local working in the background. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is a UPRR late 1990s to early 2000s install with changes to its bells, lights and gates.
