buzlok is a cool weapon , pity they made so problematic, i used it to deal with Nira and amar teleporting around.
everyone suggesting saryn need to realize it's better for him to make builds not reliant on a single frame to function. this isn't a minmax channel, this is a fun channel.
Yeah it’s how I mod my weapons. I get a base template frame (Excalibur as an example who can’t buff any ranged weapons and non sword melees) and just see how the damage does on its own.
If you have to rely on a frame to make your weapon or mod setup good. Youre either really bad at modding weapons or your weapon is beyond saving.

Have you tried that one goofy nova tech? The molecular prime inherit one.
If a primed enemy is killed, the explosion damage is treated the same as the weapon that killed the enemy.
Melee will proc melee arcanes, a Sobek will proc acid shells, Incarnons will inherit Incarnon perks, blablabla. There's so many options!
Range affects explosion range, strength affects explosion base damage, so obviously this is going to be good if you can stack a lot of range.
Subsumed xata's was good for double-dipping and bypassing armour last I checked, but... Jade Shadows may well have changed that. Who knows what's good now.
I still use the Xata's Whisper tech on Nova alongside a dagger with Amalgam Argonak Metal Auger mod and that setup has only gotten stronger with Jade Shadows now that you can do Electric AND Blast with Melee Influence!
Seriously it is stupid how fast it clears rooms O.O
Sobek Acid Shells also synergizes with other frames like Zephyr (Tornado, but that ability is amazing with any kind of AoE damage), Banshee (Sonar works for multiplying the damage) and Garuda (Seeking Talons). Saryn always gets mentioned for Sobek, but there's quite a few others who have unique synergies with that weapon.
@@NinjaSyao To be faaair, getting to double dip on that +2000% damage Incarnon thing is kind of nutty, even if you probably don't need it to get past armour anymore
but for other stuff? I wouldn't be sjrprised if Roar turns out better
@@manoflead643 they patched the xatas interaction with the 2000% on non crit perks. No longer double dips unfortunately

So actually 🤓 Acid shells do 450 corrosive dmg and % of enemy hp in blast damage. De doesn’t do a good job explaining things. That means that if you can make explosion apply status, you can spread blast with acid shells alone. That can be achieved with zephyr tornado, that spread dmg using mods on weapon, so even if acid shells cannot crit and do status procs, acid shell dmg spread by tornado will can crit, proc hunter munitions, status and more acid shells blasts if enemy dies, since that dmg counts as weapon dmg. The bad thing - tornado are very clunky, maybe tornado augment can fix that
Would an overkill sniper build with blast work because blast scales off of base damage? Or do snipers not have enough status for it to work

I'm currently using a blast perigale build and it's very funny to see a 400k explosion on armored units (without my hound priming viral and heat, to reduce the armor. After the priming, the damage goes to millions). After the armor changes, that gun doesn't even need corrosive or viral to kill heavy eximus. The only problem is that sometimes the enemie dies on the first bullet of the burst and doesn't get the explosion proc, so I always aim at the eximus and heavies
I have a build like this on my Lanka, when the damage is high enough to one shot and I hit blast it's very satisfying.
Although my dread does blast significantly better than the Lanka.
really awesome build although honestly to fix the firerate issue id probably use Reinforced bond on your pet and make sure to use over 1200 shields/overshields on the pet/sentinel so the crit build could be efficient but overall love it

I feel like you should try out a build with Reinforced Bond. The free 60% fire rate from a companion frees up a mod space on whatever weapon you're running. In this case, you could have dropped Shotgun Barrage and replaced it with something else to get a build that's ever so slightly slower but capable of much more damage.
I am begging you to do an electroblast build on the Argo and Vel with melee influence, it's actually so fun
Do you have an aversion to offloading fire rate onto your warframe through arcane tempo? I would totally understand just trying to leave the build on the weapon itself, but if you don't need the arcane slot for anything in particular, swapping it around per gun could open up slightly more fun builds. At the cost of annoyance between missions and you might view this in a similar light to bane mods.
Yeah he's said a couple of times that he wants these videos to exclusively be about the weapon which is why he uses the same pet and inaros every video.
you should try cold, the cold arcane for multishot, the mod that make cold enemies spread cold, acide shells , elementalist and the arcane that speeds up shot guns, and have fun
In my personal opinion blast (kuva) sobek NEEDS crit to be able to effectivly handle single targets. It's the difference between losing half your ammo max to an accolyte and shreding it in half a magazine.
The build I run was almost exactly that first crit set-up, it feels INCREDIBLE with primeing. (You instantly said no at the low fire rate and didn't test it with Harold) It actually makes the low fire rate feel... right? Like it just hits so hard with the set-up that it feels like it SHOULD only fire that fast.
I always found the default rhythm of the sobek nice, so I could fit in anything I wanted, even without the exilus slot (I just reposition while reloading). all I focused on was creating a BOOMstick (acid shells, steel meridian augment). a shotgun that causes BOOMs. and it worked really well against pretty much anything I met (viral + heat forever unless they changed them completely since). on the default sobek, I quit way before the kuva version. I'd probably lean towards crit (without touching the firerate) if I ever got back

At this point you could just use fire rate waframe arcane
You should try some shenanigans with arcane battery! makes frames with insanely high armor like Chroma and Valkyr get some pretty funny builds

Is there a particular reason you don't use Warframe Arcanes for your setups? Because I would have outsourced fire rate to Arcane Tempo for enough space to fit Crit mods on the initial build.
Probably tto keep the video focused on the weapons themselves, but I'd love to see a video about the most ungodly ridiculous synergies between frame, pet, weapon, arcanes, and operator all working together, if you can even put something like that together lol
to focus on the weapon, so he pick a warframe that dont have any passive that makes weapons stronger and no external help, he do show when using corrosive that he have 2 corrosive shards.
Been playing around with blast Aeolak (multiplicative gunCO on the primary fire while the secondary pops groups like bubblewrap thanks to the blast rework) and Hystrix Prime (modded for blast + permanent fire mode, with prime heated charge buffing the damage of both element procs). I'm pretty happy with the results, and I'd love to see your take on them.
With Saryn this is both funky and dear God.... THE DAMAGE
Definitely need to do a Thermagnetic shells Detron build to round out the "blow up on death" augment builds. I'm having great fun running Kuva Sobek, Tenet Detron and Jat Kitag on Saryn at the moment 😅

Blast electricity is pretty spicy on the tenet arca plasmor now it really shines when enemies are close together though

Maybe you can try to show you us you using the weapons in content that most people play like Netracells, Relic runs (steep path perhapse), Archon Hunts, occasionally you could take it in the Circuit if it appears and feel like it, or Deep Archimedea. Like this way you can really show the audience how comfortable it is to use that weapon. And ofc show afterwards would you change on the build after that if there is anything.
Most of his builds work well even in the content that the majority of people run, does he really need to?

Something REALLY fun for me lately, is using Acid Shells with Banshee.
The AOE damage of Acid Shells can hit her Sonar points for huge AOE damage. Even without armor strip.
Especially if the enemy is completely covered in Sonars (which they will be if you’re running the augment 😉). Crowds just blow up, it’s beautiful.
Banshee's augment is so funny to me because sometimes I'll just see the entire room next to me explode because my pet shot one bullet that way and caused a snowball effect

I'm trying a cold setup with innate magnetic for my Zephyr. Not sure how boomie it gets but it feels pretty good.
Zephyrs tornados are finally stupid again after they patched crit recursion. a single non incarnon shot from torid kills everything in milliseconds. Overall pretty much all the weapons that can hit the enemies themselves + the tornados are fun to try out

I've been really enjoying tenet Grigori with blast. Use Tennokai, buildd up to 12x, then do a quick slide heavy whenever TK pops and you can whipe out not only the room you're in the the next two over with the disk.

Yep. Toxic lash is stupidly busted rn anyway cuz blast procs also trigger it. So pretty much every weapon has acid shells via blast atm. Sporothrix, komorex, phantasma just to name a few really good ones
lavos can add blast on the blast.

Syndicates.
With the new jade shadows update, you can get new simulacrum rooms from all syndicates and also the worm boss room as a simulacrum from that one duviri vendor (I forgot her name)
Saryn, you're missing Saryn. The DoT from Toxic Lash will make enemies explode, triggering the final Blast proc, when they die with a Blast proc on them, and Acid Shells will spread their effects over a wider area
if going that far, lavos is better, he can add blast on the blast.

honestly elementalist could've been dropped on multiple occasions or even at the very least I would've personally chose a venom dose Saryn build for this because of the corrosive infusion mixed with blast and even though it's part of an old yet nasty frame+weapon synergy it would've worked better in terms of damage but that's just me
elementalist is a final multiplier for those status, so it super matters.
Every weapon will clear base sp with saryn. No point in even modding the weapon if you're going to showcase to with her
