I find it cool that Rex's hair color changes when Shay gives him power or whatever. Also, the music is epic

Theory:
That one guy, in the beginning, is Rex's past life. And he was reborn as Rex.
The 'they' the guy is talking about, is those beings, they fight, towards the end of the episode. And other beings like them.
The line 'I alone, will watch' so on and so forth, of what is said. Means, he, as Rex, will witness Arcadia, sink into the dark.
Rex, will either, slowly regain his memories, of his past life.
Or, the group fighting that guy, in the beginning, will show up, and sense that guy, is Rex.
Either, Rex is the reincarnation, of the guy in the beginning.
Or, he has some, strong, illusion magic, and has taken on the appearance of Rex, as a disguise.
But, lost his memories in the process.
And the powers, shown in the beginning, will slowly, but surely, reawaken, in Rex.
Adding to the power boost he gains, from Shay.

Is this rex the same Rex from skyline rem or just related? I know the events of Mythos was reset with Skyline rem
Theory one the man at the beginning that sealed an ancient ruin that must had rex in there or something and the woman with the black and white hair must have some connection with her but somehow got his memory erased (I don’t want to say son but that’s a possibility) and in my mind they are either some short of god or deity maybe? Idk but anyway the reason why he can’t use magic is because he doesn’t have a “soul” like skyline and mythos witch I feel like it’s a common trademark that all of the Rex’s has and that’s how the eye was able to be inside him kinda like a flux of better example or something from the abyss aka void or something and than was able to use his body for its own goal idk if it’s has evil intentions but for now I will put it up in the air 😅 and later on Rex could have some control over the abyss thanks to the eye maybe? And it could have the same thing with the pack that Rex, flux and teal and the reason why he’s “soulless” is because the guy at the beginning must have done something with it or was just born with it and he could have been born in the abyss witch explain why he was in the ruin or at least some connection with the abyss maybe? And another thing with the eye it could be his “soul” that was stuck in the abyss or something witch is why it was so fast on finding him like it had the room for it to fit witch is why he’s the only one in probably history that has the eye thing in him it probably could sense the potential that rex had as it’s perfect host because it had completed the conditions (and in my mind I can see it as some allknower here) it could be the exact same thing as flux and teal like primordial beings but anyway I feel like I’m wrong if so I don’t care love you rex❤ keep up the good work I’m also new here I saw both your mythos smp series and skyline and I’m shaking at what’s coming next and I will rewatch this one episode to know that my theory is somewhat correct but anyways love ya ❤❤
Edit: Rex and the women with the black and white hair definitely have a connection as per in the trailer they are show side by side (this theory is very limited and have a high chance of being wrong but I’m willing to stand by this claim) the man at the beginning of the episode may or may not have affected Rex in someway but like the rest very wrong and with the eye and that girl with the red hair in the trailer as well seems like the same red with Rex and the eye ball but that is walking on a very slim tightrope and with Rex and the eye ball I’m willing to stand by the claim of this Rex being soulless like mythos and skyline witch is why we can use magic because he doesn’t have a source to pull it from and that’s about it that I have

You know what they say a character is never truly complete without some type of trauma also no memories might make it even worse too

I'm going to be pretty blunt with this. I honestly thought this series was going to be some lame excuse at keeping Skyline fans like myself satisfied until Season 2 rolls around, and wouldn't be as good...
However, as I watched it and kept an open mind? I gotta say, I think even if Skyline REM Season 2 comes around while this is going on? I think I'll most definitely watch both.
Rex and the people who help write this do a great job at telling a story, and the actors who voice the characters just have a way to capture the emotions and personalities of a character where Minecraft itself lacks it.
Great job, I think I'm gonna like EoA a whole lot. Just as much as I do Skyline REM.

This is giving me minecraft story mode vibes, and im loving it! The comedy is also great and the balance of story, cutsenes and in game perspectives is amazing and you never get bored of just seeing one.
Something about the abyss spirit is interesting. I wonder if it will try to control Rex, what are its ulterior motives?
