Squirrel videos, when you absolutely, positively, indisputably can't stomach the crap going on in the world anymore!
This is more entertaining than anything on the TV ever.
Well thank ya! :-)
I guess I’m “special” since I watched and enjoyed all of the video! 😂😂😂
I recently raised 2 orphaned baby squirrels. I’d never really liked squirrels before, but these 2 little monsters changed my mind. They are very clever problem solvers, and very acrobatic. These have talons that would make Freddy Krueger jealous. I called my babies The Krugerettes, but they did adapt to my lack of fur and the scratches and cuts decreased. Those talons are their secret weapon when it comes to the amazing jumps and ability to climb just about anything. I now have to carry nuts with me whenever I go outside. The male will meet me at the car and demand a cuddle and a nut. The cuddle is negotiable, the nut is not. Good luck outsmarting them, and thanks for not hurting them.
do you want me to come over and hold your nuts? lmao!
This is like watching the 21st century version of Wile E Coyote and the Roadrunner...
hahaha :-)
I was thinking the same thing!
Thank you for being my age...

🤣🤣🤣
.... minus the Acme dynamite.... Lol
I loved watching this video. I've been fascinated by watching Squirrels since I was a little kid. Some years ago I lived on a big estate with tall trees. One day I was sitting in the yard and I heard a Hawk cry and a Squirrel's loud noise at the same time. I looked up to see a red tail Hawk flying away with a Squirrel in its talons that it had just grabbed from an Ash tree branch about 70' feet up. The Squirrel was screaming and wriggling around madly. The Squirrel finally fell from the Hawk's grip and landed on my lawn. I thought that it was dead but after about a minute the little guy stood up and slowly looked around 360 degrees. He saw me and looked at me for a while then did another faster 360 look around and then he gazed at me again for a while. Then he scurried off into the bushes. I felt sorry for the little guy so a left him a big pile of shelled walnuts and a bowl of water at the edge of my patio. When I came back home the nuts were all gone. Then later, I noticed that a Squirrel would be waiting for me at the end of my driveway when I came home from work and it would race alongside of my car as I drove down the driveway and at the end where I parked there was a maple tree and he would beat me to the tree and run up the tree real fast just ahead so I could see him. He did that day after day and my driveway was 400' long so that was no little sprint for the Squirrel. Then later I was out in the yard picking Wine Cap mushrooms from a wood chip bed to cook and I noticed a squirrel watching me. I brought the mushrooms inside and then went back out and then found a Russula mushroom in the grass. I picked it and tossed it toward the Squirrel since I knew that they could eat them. I walked more and found another Russula and the Squirrel had followed me and it was even closer so I tossed the next one to him as well. On another day there were more Russulas sprouting but no Squirrel in sight so I gathered a bunch of them and left them in a pile at the edge of my patio where I had previously left the walnuts. And the next time I looked they were all gone.
But now here is the funniest part of this whole story. My primary entrance to my home was by a wooden staircase that led from my driveway up to a second floor deck. One day I was leaving to go to work and as I was walking down the stairs and I felt something drop onto my shoulder. I looked down and there was a piece of a Russula mushroom bouncing down the stairs. I looked up and there was a squirrel sitting on a branch right above me on that Maple tree at the end of my driveway. I thought "Oh what a coincidence". And then a few days later I was on my way to work again and going down the stairs and something bounced off of my head. I looked down to see another piece of a Russula mushroom again and I looked up to see the Squirrel on the branch again. I had a real good laugh and I realized that I had made a friend and that my friend was playing with me.
If those little critters ever decide to cooperate and work as a team they might be our new overlords. At least, they are so cute.❤❤
It sure is fun to watch these project/experiments unfold and amazing how these squirrels adapt and overcome. The work they put in for free food. 🤣
Thanks for stopping by buddy! They think with their bellies for sure haha
Never underestimate the tenacity of a squirrel! 😂
The Squirrel Counsel has decreed that your yard is the best hangout in the neighborhood. Free food and great exercise 😊. Love your videos 😂
We feed our squirrels and the birds and any other critters that might come around! Best of luck!
Wow couple of them really went at it. Rolling all over the place fighting. It really amazes me how determined they are to get through these obstacles. You would think they would give up. The pole dancing squirrels are pretty amusing to watch.
Its all day every day lol...they really get annoyed when they can't get to the food....they usually figure it out...but not so far on this one :-) There you are w/ the pole dancing again! haha
@@CruzesLouisianaOutdoors 🤣😂
The fight seemed between two of them, then descended into pure cartoon slapsick.
@@bazza945😂😂
The victory tail wag @ 4:29 was the cutest thing ever!! 🤣
Down South, it's the cutest THANG ever.
That’s unbelievable..... you out-slinkied them!!!
Lol...for now anyway!
Jeez! What well-fed, robust squirrels! I guess you'll see a creature's best efforts when the food is good.
Those squirrels are indeed quite the Olympic athletes 😁
lol yessir :-)
This was hilarious! 👏🤣✌️
I love your ingenuity!! So much fun 😂😂😂
And I thought this was just going to be entertaining. There's also some science happening up in here! Nice.
Love your video's, by the way.
I love watching all these squirrel shenanigans and actics. That fight sure was funny as well as your b rolls. 💯❤👍
Thank ya mam....appreciate you stopping by!
Wow .. nothing stopping these squirrels 🐿
4-1 for the squirrels
Lol they are something else :-) Appreciate you brother!
Nice job. Keep enjoying the wildlife and thanks for sharing.
you killed me with the bar analogy 😂
You confirmed it....I NEED HELP! 😁
All the way team squirrel !
You’re crazy - I like that!
This is pretty good entertainment !!
😂 This is hilarious! Thanks for brightening my day!😅👏👍🏼
Really great idea developement.
You win. I watched it.
It's amazing how much time, effort, money and sweat a human will use, to prove to the world that they can outsmart a squirrel. Kind of rates up there like all of the equipment people buy to catch a fish.
Squirrels will accept any challenge. They will get the bird food eventually. Never underestimate these critters, they learn and adapt.
Great entertainment and you don't even have to leave the house. LMAO
Definition of Determination! Both human and Squirrel!
Indeed :-)
You have some very chubby squirrels as a result of your creative experimentation. Yes, it’s likely I need help….watched to the end. What fun!
"If you stick around for all that, you may need some kinda help"!😂
Dude. Props.
Your the squirrel harmonizer!
Yea, I need help... 😂
I've got 6 squirrelies running around here, in the middle of the city burbs, they are quite entertaining... "King of the hill" gets crazy between six hungry fluffballs.
You captured a wonderful recording of a brown thrasher singing -- 4:30 or 5:00. Nice job, even if it was just luck...
I was just enjoying my resident thrasher’s song this morning here in the Smoky Mountains of NC. ❤
As destructive and pesky as squirrels can be I have to admit they are entertaining:)~
You need to apply to NASA, you're an absolute genius 👍🇺🇸✝️🧢
😂
Congrats you outsmarted a squirrel
I'm no engineer but couldn't you keep the squirrels from climbing up by, uh, REMOVING THE STICK? yet another addictive channel.
All that is like to lean a ladder with damaged rungs against your houses wall. Then you're watching, if the intruder
makes it to reach your window.
If the bird feeder hangs high enough, the squirrels have no chance at all.
I stuck around. Guess I need some help! ;-) Seriously though, I enjoyed the video.
Excellent .
I love these squirrel videos
Thank ya much! Have a great weekend
@@CruzesLouisianaOutdoors Welcome you as well
Squirrel babies gotta eat too...
We loved this, and your creativity. We're ordering slinkys today. We have a squirrel feeder 10 feet from the bird feeders, you'd think they would leave the bird feeders alone. We love watching the little furry creatures. Thank you for posting!
coating the pole with Vaseline is fun to watch too!
I used a 4 inch square PVC post from a big box store, big enough that they can’t bear huge it and shimmy up to the feeder, lasted for years until one tenacious squirrel decided to go all beaver on the bottom of the post and over a few days was able to damage the post enough that it fell over, never underestimate those little a- holes
A little battle royale at the end there. Great video as always.
lol indeed :-) Good weekend sir!
I see Louisiana squirrels are just as relentless and ornery as Georgia squirrels. My dad ran a 25 year war with the squirrels after he retired.
I used 2 of those mini slinkies on my iron pole. They learned quickly they couldn’t circumvent them. An iron pole is probably also more slippery than your wooden one. Mongolian hot sauce will also deter them.
I watched all the way to the end because anytime I can watch a squirrel getting defeated is a good day in my book!
Lol we love our ninja squirrels 🐿
This is awesome! I am so glad to have found your channel. The squirrels are driving us insane with our bird feeders and Pear tree we have.
You are my new hero !! Pretty awesome thanks for the video!
Have a bunch of squirrels in my back yard and they go crazy when they get into an ant bed. Really funny!
Noted for future reference lol Thanks for visiting!
I love it…. But dude apparently you got much more time than I do to mess around ..👍
two years since your video....How long did it take the squirrels to get around it? I am really impressed! I have been trying to outsmart them, (but still love them) for about 40 years. I am 72. Even built them an entire circus in my yard with Copper pipes (when copper was afforadable) and hanging swings and teeter totters, and even a ferris wheel. That still didn't deter them from the bird feeders. The circus was a sweet diversion.
You're very creative. Guess I need help, I finished and enjoying the rest of your video 😂
I already knew I needed help....... but I stuck around anyway for the entire video 🤪🤣🤘
hahahaha you and me both brother :-)
The bigger slinky's work much better🤣
I share your love for squirrels 🐿️⚔️
This is so funny. 😅
It can be observed that the squirrels are thinking about it.
Fantastic video share friend enjoyed watching best wishes and success 👍🌟
Thank you! You too!
Always great watching Squirrels
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for posting. Enjoyed it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Les français sont sûrement tous là grâce à David Castello-Lopez je me trompe?
Howdy Chris- man, watching these squirrels is hilarious. They just don’t ever give up lol. Take care and God bless
They are tenacious little critters that for sure! Have a great weekend Mr. Paul!
lol this is too funny. , great job with the slinky
Thank ya :-)
You, Sir, are my hero. 😂😊Currently going through my own squirrel war in Maine and I find it incredibly satisfying that you seem to have them outbeat-for now, anyway. Their persistence and determination never ceases to amaze me, especially considering they have their own feeders here with easy access to food yet STILL they choose to keep at the bird's.
Truly food driven little beasts and ALWAYS hungry!
Take care!
Ahhhhh finally someone who understands me :-))))
@@CruzesLouisianaOutdoors
Absolutely!!!
Don't let anyone get you down, either-if they give you any shit it's because they've never dealt with the them before.
Keep it up, really looking forward to future videos! 😊
Awwwww thank ya mam 😊
@@CruzesLouisianaOutdoors
You're very welcome. 😊😊😊
Hilarious stuff!,, lol
Very clever.
Love the balloon idea, will do this at my mom's for entertainment.
Every time I watch these I start thinking about how good some squirrel and dumplings would be.
Squirrel gumbo is our favorite :-)
@@CruzesLouisianaOutdoors That works too! I think Squirrel Stringer Balls would be good too, not as good as with crawfish, but then again... ? Now I need to source some squirrel
There's an easy way to do the 4 slinkies. Overlap them into 1. Get them about even, stretch them out a bit, and then slide them into each other. You should still get roughly 4x the pulling force from the 4 slinkies, but they'll all fit on the bar about like one slinky. Once stretched a bit they're mostly air, putting 4 where 1 was should be easy enough.
Squirrel Fight Club lol
Nothing beats a squirrel that can slink through a slinky!!!
hahaha
Just for amusement? And possibly education for squirrels, but not keeping them away from the food!
Very cleaver
GENIUS using an old skool but still popular _Slinky_
*CLEAVER AND FUN TO WATCH...HUMAN INGENUITY VS SQUIRREL SUNNINESS TO OVERCOME!!* *JUST TOO FUNNY!!*
Thanks for stopping by!
they go great with gravy
Thanks for sharing💐

thank U david castelo lopezzz :D
That’s awesome ! Never fails to amaze me how they can figure stuff out !! First rule of squirrel fight club is you don’t talk about squirrel fight club lol have a good weekend brother
Hahaha...now I gotta rewatch fight club :-) Have a good one brother!
ROFL dude you are just too much! This is too funny, I live in Oklahoma and squirrels are not that much of a problem because I have feral cats, but I love watching your strategies, LOL! 😅
As always thank you for a most entertaining video.
Thank ya brother! Have a good one!
Oh, I remember these days. Of course, when you are trying to keep tree rats off your bird feeders, it's not funny at the time. However, I was never quite this industrious, so I found this video more entertaining than anything I have ever seen before. (^_^)
I thought I was watching Squirrel Ninja Warrior 😂
Those squirrels get more of your paycheck then your seeds. 🤣
hahaha wouldn't argue that one :-)
Well, that was fun and it has given me a few ideas for the little free loaders at my place. Thanks
lol awesome :-)
Squirrels thank you all backyard theme park builders :)
haha
I'm going through the same thing in my backyard. Nothing works! These guys are determined. Loved your video though. Like a sack a taters. Lol!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No wonder my Mom and Dad admired Squirrels; these rodents are pests… but NOT fools!!!
It was fun to watch them🤗
Thank ya much!
I'd like to know what you have rigged up top to prevent them from just climbing the tree and sliding down the rope/wire?
Great video!
