But why do people scoff at the Uke....the other day a guitar player called it a toy. i love the Uke and fail to understand why it is scoffed at.or not respected enough.
@@siddharthgollapudi07 For me it's the overuse of Ukulele sound in obtrusive happy background music in videos and advertising that makes me cringe at the sound.
@@siddharthgollapudi07 most of us have only played the cheap ukes you find in a walmart, like the ukulele equivalent of the first act guitar. it wasn’t until i was able to play a concert uke with an actually good setup that i realized it’s potential as an actual instrument

I think the baritone is the most rewarding member of the guitar/mandolin/banjo/uke family and more people should pick it up than do.
I have a lower end concert uke that I got from spending reward points from my company's safety program. I'm thoroughly enjoy it. I might get a baritone in the future.

ikr went to one of the biggest guitar shops here and the manager told me it's just a "small guitar" and that customers supposedly don't want Baritone because they rather want the "real" Ukulele sound and not a "small guitar" and that I could just buy a guitar and get the same sound plus more (but I already have two guitars so...). Stuff that guitar shops tell you when they don't want to sell you something for what ever snob reason...

Yes, I hope you teach the solo! I agree with you about strumming on the baritone, but it is a great instrument for fingerstyle and simple melodic solos.

I have 2 cheap China made baritones and they sound surprisingly good for the money. I consider them the little brother to a full sized classical guitar. 😄 Thanks for sharing!

I picked up the baritone in December last year. I love that it has a low warm sound like the guitar, but more accessible to my fingers than the guitar. Came across this channel, and found the baritone ukulele, bought a
tanglewood baritone last December.
Having played the guitar a bit I slotted straight into the baritone,
Guitar so frustrating, didn’t know about the baritone at all
enjoying the instrument a lot.

Please add the solo portion. I did make a change from a D to a D7 to help me make that transition better. I lost about a half inch of my little finger making some fretting hard to do so I always look for easier transition.

Ciao Marco, bel brano molto rilassante dopo una giornata dura di lavoro...la lunga versione però. Se un giorno hai tempo ti chiedo di mostrarci cosa viene dopo il baritone in altre parole quali pedali, amp, recording system secondo te dovrei possedere per avere un suono limpido come questo.
Esistono molti video che parlano del baritone ma pochi di quale devices vengono connessi a questo bellissimo instrumento. Mia idea é in futuro (2o24) di suonare in locali. Cosa porteresti con te per il tuo show con il uku baritone?

@@MarcoCirilloUkulele Your playing is excellent and professional, but I am puzzled by your ability to capture that sound so effectively. I can hear the reverb you added. I don't see any mics in the frame, though the sound seems to be captured quite well. It would be great it you could give us an idea of your recording setup, and your post processing - compression, EQ, etc.
