  • In his entrancing talk, Daniel gives a glimpse into how hypnosis works and explores the power of the human mind.
    The discovery that hypnosis is not magic, but a legitimate tool used in psychotherapy and personal development led Daniel Robaczewski to start performing with a group of enthusiasts on the streets of Warsaw at the age of 17. During the journey that followed, he became a certified hypnotist, participated in hundreds of hours of workshops, hypnotised over a thousand people and taught hundreds of his own students, including psychologists, psychiatrists and actors.
    This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

    I have watched 3 videos about hypnosis, and I feel empowered! I feel as though Ive had a breakthrough of sorts. I've been in a deep depression for what seems like a lifetime. I also am an addict, currently using, and faced with the realization that I am slowly killing myself. I use to escape the pain, to avoid facing reality, and to quiet the voices in my head. I’m overwhelmed, to think that all I have to do to get out of this rut, is to change those voices. I didn’t know, that I could use them to my advantage! In essence, I’m having my Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz moment. I’ve had the power all along, only I had no control over it. I’ve been living life for too long, debilitated by my emotions. I am overjoyed and in complete amazement in this very moment!
    🌟I HAVE HOPE🌟

    I was a huge skeptic about hypnotism.....on a cruise a few years ago, there was a hypnotist show and I put my hand up to try. Assuming I would never be hypnotized..... I was wrong! Lol I was aware of everything going on.....I was just incredibly open to doing all the suggested stuff.
    It was a blast, and afterwards I felt amazing......like the greatest and lightest feeling I've ever experienced.

    As a current student of hypnosis, it isn't enough to earn the basic certification; I plan to be a scholar from all sides. The portion that resonated the most for me was the diagram drawn with conscious, subconscious, and unconscious, with the critical factor by-pass between the two latter portions, as well as stating, "the critical factor of the conscious mind" and including the term "willpower" in there as a preface. So many people argue that subconscious and unconscious are the same, but that isn't true at all. Thank you for reaffirming.

    Took some time, physical effort, along with mind over matter, eventually I ditched my cane in AZ.
    I found a book a previous manager gave me when I was in management at DG in np FL.
    I never read it til I went through an experience that pushed me to do so in my house in FL.
    Edgar Cayce used it to verbally speak(he could only do so under hypnosis) which intrigued me in using it on myself for my spinal issues for pain relief & healing.
    I felt amazing after my 1st attempt.
    Takes some time to get every detail of the body to go weightless before you go under though...seems like forever.
    I am walking just fine today with just mild pain once & a while now.
    It is very beneficial for multiple things. It does work.

    I loved the humour and the style, and being a hypnotherapist myself, the things you said I mostly share. I tend to use hypnosis in a slightly different way though, and it TENDS to work. ;-)
    There's something I'd like to suggest... Given the current way of life, I found that BEFORE putting someone in a trance that could help his DEEP healing you have to AWAKEN that someone from the trance he uses to live in in his daily life ;-) .

    • @lydieuhh
      @lydieuhh 2 года назад

      How do? Shrooms?

    • @DavideBaroni
      @DavideBaroni 2 года назад +1

      @@lydieuhh No. Just slowly make them realise they were in a trance by getting them be in slightly different trances and notice the one they were in was basically self-induced. :-)
      Not always required though. It depends on the goal and the therapeutic contract you make at the beginning.
      'Shrooms could be an option in certain cases. There's a lot of research currently going on about that. But I don't think they're good to EVERYBODY. There are certain contraindications, which are related to the structures of personality and self. It has lots of potential in certain contexts, but it ain't as simple as many seem to want to make it. And it won't work for everything. :-)

    • @melissamayer9983
      @melissamayer9983 2 года назад

      how do you mean?

    • @DavideBaroni
      @DavideBaroni 2 года назад

      @@melissamayer9983 For example, what if you "wake up" from your trance with a slightly DIFFERENT "critical factor", every time? Wouldn't you end up realising that ALL of those "critical factors" are, well... Kind of "arbitrary"? And wonder "What, or who, put that particular critical factor at work in the first place?"... And eventually notice that it was you yourself, and then "decide to decide" what "critical factor" would work in any given situation, that would actually relate to "You" and not to a particular "self-image" that would not allow you to access your deepest Self? Just one of the many possible ways...
      Also, "Hypnosis" is just a word, and it has a number of different meanings at least in practice.
      Let's define it as a state of consciousness in which you're "focused on selective aspects of something inside you". I don't use the kind of trance phenomena that this brilliant guy shows here, but you can well be very effective nonetheless, if you know what to do and how. To me, hypnosis is about allowing a person to find the solutions to her/his "problems" INSIDE her/himself, and to do so you often have to just remove the "critical factor" that doesn't allow the person to access the inner resources that would make her/him do that.
      It's a much more complex issue than it seems. And a much more simple one as well, at the same time. :-D

    Other Countries vary on its legalization of Hypnotherapy uses. They have to jump thru hoops to become one, while in the U.S.? You can get certified super easy actually. It depends what exactly those certifications are about.
    (Side note: There is massive huge Recreational hypnosis communities and registered around 1,100,00 worldwide On certain websites; & they have huge two week Hypnotherapy Conventions of the most professional Hypnotists ever known).

      Just do it with self hypnosis, look up when breathing in and close your eyes when breathing out

    Hypnosis cannot possibly heal diseases or why is Mr Robaczewski myopic or farsighted (He's wearing glasses)?

    • @mulan7015
      @mulan7015 5 лет назад

      Wearing glasses isn't a diease its a disability. And its about the shape of your eyes not a condition. His eye may be too short or too long which alters how visuals are percivied. I learned this at like 10 mister.

      Thanks for your answer Mr, so hypnosis is limited. Genetic disabilities such as hair loss are not cureable.
      Therefore, hypnosis probably cannot heal you (at least everything).

    What do I truly believe?:
    I personally accept CHRIST JESUS ALMIGHTY as my PERSONAL SAVIOR AND LORD AND HEAVENLY REDEEMER - I believe literally and in every sense of the description of The Holy Gospel of The Conservative Bible that we are saved by HIM as the Holy Bible describes HIS Devine Power, HIS Ultimate Saving Holy Sacrifice and Resurrection three days later - not symbolically but ACTUALLY AND LITERALLY IN THE EXACT TERMS OF THE CONSERVATIVE BIBLE; HE is risen Hallelujah Amen 🙏 HE will come back to judge both the quick and the dead without flaw or exception and will call all Christian Believers to HIM to judge and reward and save them and HE will without fail or doubt or flaw come to rule the New World and New Jerusalem with a rod of iron - this is exactly what will happen without exception. We can only be saved by believing on HIM and HIS PERFECT SACRIFICE and the fact that HE IS GOD’S SON, and that all who believe in HIM and HIS Work on the cross at Calvary, and that GOD THE HEAVENLY FATHER PERSONALLY RAISED HIM back from death three days later, all who believe this truth will have salvation and never know the sting of death or condemnation, but only by accepting GOD’S SON CHRIST JESUS ALMIGHTY LORD SAVIOR MESSIAH and HE is now alive and well very much, and at the Right Hand of GOD ALMIGHTY THE HEAVENLY FATHER, I accept all this to be true without any doubt, for by HIS TRULY GOOD AND DEVINE SACRIFICE HE has saved us, we must believe The Conservative Christian Gospel - I’m not a teacher, but I am a Christian and LORD ALMIGHTY CHRIST JESUS my SAVIOR I humbly and sincerely and respectfully accept, Amen in HIS FLAWLESS AND PERFECT NAME, Amen 🙏 ✝️

      patrick I hear you, but this talk might not appeal to someone who is already sold on hypnosis. This is to appeal to people who don’t take it seriously. It makes it light hearted and might be an ice breaker for scrutinizers. I thought it was a brilliant approach.

    more than half way through and he's said nothing yet. i don't think he knows what he's talking about. he may well be able to hypnotise people but i don't think he knows why, how, what. in fact, I think, some people are suggestible to an extraordinary degree and these are the ones that get easily hypnotised.
    they willingly go into a state where they can accept suggestions and act upon them in ways that they never would ordinarily.
    but the hypnotists, like this one, see this, know this, use this, 'do this', but no nothing about how or why it works.
    I think.
    He's now at 13 minutes out of 18 and so far he's still told us nothing about how it works, what it is, etc...
    He's just trying to amuse the crowd and telling of studies.
    Useless

    Very interesting talk, however I find his oscillating accent irritating - it goes from being almost perfect British accent to rather thick Polish accent - and I know what I'm talking about, I'm Polish living in an English speaking country. Not to mention his grammar at times...
