My wife just got one . I couldn’t wait to go and try a few rounds! My heart was broken! It wouldn’t fire ! Everything sounded right ! Than I told her to send the seller a message saying that the fire pin was bad ! Than I came across this video! I went back and took it apart and put it back . Took it back for test & fired beautifully Thank you for the video . Good job .
I might have to pick one of these up. I have two younger brothers who always want to shoot my Mosin, but I don't know if they're ready for 7.62x54R. A 22LR trainer might be perfect for them.
Great video, but the 'rear' piece on mine would not unscrew. I mean it turns but doesn't 'move'. I turned and turned and kept turning (all while solidly clamping the firing pin extension with pliers). Nothing happens.
What a great video . I recently purchased a WZ-48 for my collection . and then this happened . . NO one was Hurt ! My boy flicked the Safety OFF with a round in the barrel .. It went off ! I am trying to figure out why ! ! Sometimes it discharges and other times when I move it slow .. It does not discharge . thinking it has something to do with the trigger Mech .. or is it possible that the bolt is warn at the point of contact with the trigger Mech . Dang thing "Looks" just fine ! These Guns Are TACK Shooter !

Very easy to take down.....have handled bolts that have three to four pins......nightmares.....this is a walk in the park......
