- We’re at the Gun Powder Acres @Gunpowder_Acres and we’ve got two Polish training rifles that are hard to find, one being a very rare Wz. 31 made at the Radom factory. In this video, we test fire the .22 cal Wz. 31 as well as another .22 trainer, the Wz. 48 made at Radom as well (factory 11). The Wz. 31 resembles a Mauser and the Wz. 48 resembles a Mosin Nagant. But both are single shot training rifles and their actions are completely different from the rifles they resemble. It was definitely an enjoyable experience to fire these two rifles and see how accurate they were at 25 yards.

Great video Dan!
Superb video, I love seeing representation of Polish rifles, and that Wz.31 is quite a rare bird. I saw an auction for one of those going for an insane price! I hope to have a video out on the Wz.29 variants out on Sept 1st!
Yea the historic auction price I saw on rock island was surprising. Cool, I’ll keep an eye out for the Wz. 29 video 😎👍🏼
Sweet action Dan
Thanks! 🍻
Got a Romanian 22lr trainer on layaway the thing looks like a cross between a mosin nagant and Mauser
Interesting!
I recently inherited one and wanted to give it a deep cleaning prior to taking it to the range. Unfortunately, I can’t find any info about how to remove the barrel from the stock. I thought if I removed the screw from the bottom of the stock, it would automatically release. This is not the case. I’m having trouble. Could you post a video showing how you disassemble the WZ48?
Thank you
these are from the collection of Gun Powder Acres on youtube. I've notified him and he might be making a video soon. see the description of this video to find his channel
I've always loved 22lr that looked like military guns I got a Erma em1 22 and a Erma kgp 69 and a gsg stg 44 in my collection always on the lookout for guns like that it's the next best thing to the real deal only cheaper to shoot
That’s a good strategy
For the mosin trainer, is it possible to extend the stock to cover the barrel like the real mosin or retrofit one? I’m not a fan of the open naked barrel at the end
There is a WZ48 at a shop near me.
Hello, are you still in touch with the owner of the Kbk.S.wz.31? I have just purchased an example and it is missing the screw that mounts on top of the rear section of the bolt. I am curious if the owner can provide me with some rough dimensions so I can have a machinist fabricate one for me.
Yes. Are you able to send me photos of where it goes exactly so I can send it to him? Message me on Instagram or Facebook
Neither one of you would make it to the sniper range. Use the slings to improve the accuracy.
How rare are these? The Wz. 48 specifically.
The Wz.48 can be found on auction websites, online, and local shops every so often. The Wz. 31 is like finding a needle in a haystack.
@@BattlefieldCurator Thanks. Just recently picked up a Wz.48 of my own. Was curious.
