@ honestly mate it was a perfect video, I normally see people rush these videos missing out key bits and crucial information, yours was very well explained from start to finish. I’m waiting for my part to arrive and will watch the vid again whilst fixing it in. My heaters are blowing cold but the car is getting up to optimum temperature. Would you say this is the part to change? Thank you
@AshG786 Yes, I believe this should help with your situation. My vehicle was operating at the proper temperatures also, but I was still receiving cool air out of the vents. Once I changed out the heater control valve, the issue went away, and the vents were blowing heat again. I do remember reading something saying that if the heater control valve doesn't fix the issue there was something else you needed to check but I don't remember. I think it had something to do with the coolant in the vehicle.
lol.. they don’t all look the same… this helped me tremendously… its always harder to do it yourself…. I clamped my hoses with these types of clamps…. Must have done it wrong cuz I lost all my antifreeze… lol… finally got it all back together though… got heat! 😂
