This was a great interview between them. Honestly after hearing how much Stephen loved Popstar I went and rented it about a month ago and it's been so long since I laughed that hard! I ended up buying the blu-ray and watch the last 25 minutes or so of it pretty much daily. Also the commentary with all 3 of them together is really good too. Need to watch Palm Springs next but I don't have Hulu right now. Next on my list though.
This was the most sincere "I watched what you do and actually liked it" I've ever seen from a talk-show host. Colbert raping Equal Rights, totally epic. Love that, very wholesome.
I always liked Andy on SNL etc, but when he coupled with Joanna Newsom his amaz-ometer hit double digits. she’s absolutely phenomenal, one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen-and I’ve seen many. I’m ever hoping that she returns to Tucson- I have a Google alert set so I can scoop up my tickets immediately.

It was unusual, felt kinda sarcastic but overall sincere. "Watched it three times" yeah sure... But it was enough for me to put it on... and my god. It's one of the most hilarious, complete and complex, unique, just... Watch it! It had me laughing so hard I had to pause it several times, I cried at the end, and have to watch it again. I barely survived the first watch it was so powerfully entertaining. This is the most amped I've seen Stephen in a while and yup, gd checks out. Thanks Andy for giving us this and lol thanks Stephen for freaking out about it!
