nah i think a hardened steel ball or a slug of just the right size would break a tooth and that is about the worst i would exspect to happen the teeth are made so they cant grab something they cant chew like if its too big and in case something hard like a large drill bit fell in it would stall the motor plus i dont think that hammer is anything special
