      @@joshuafruth6420 The way I handle one trick insta locks is to NOT flex for them and force a horrible comp. They whine about it and tell them to do it themselves if they want a support. Then when they switch, I switch back and we have an actual good team without them realizing it lol

    hey, another great video, thanks for these. really helpful!
    I struggle a bit to apply some of these principles to other strategists though. for example, i mostly play luna. I see you getting dove by a venom like at 27:42 but you still work on dealing damage to the backline. How would this translate to playing Luna?
    In my head, I would instantly try to land a stun and then work on damaging him. Should I instead, delay the stun, try to find a better position and focus on healing again if necessary, otherwise go for damage on him? If I whiff my stun, feels like it's game over and I'm probably dead since he will just run me down. Especially since in Silver/Gold people tend to have tunnel vision towards the enemy team, not considering their backline.
    It's really tough to not instantly panic and work away at him - even though I know he will just press E in a few seconds and swings away again.
    There are just so many variable to consider, it's hard but kinda motivating with how much there is to consider and learn. Seeing you turn these, to me seemingly hopeless situations, around is just inspiring. I tend to complain about no peel and be done with it - time to take responsibility and work on myself instead. Especially the part with having an escape plan - I never really thought about that.

      Every character has their strengths and weaknesses. For Luna, it's more of the speed factor. Not many characters can catch her. When dealing with characters like Spiderman/Venom, going into tight spaces and going around corners helps. Panther isn't really good at vertical movement, so skating into a jump gives you extra height on your jumps. If you skate jump, you're able to turn your body and continue skating.
      So yes, not every healer can do what Adam does. However, Adam actually struggles way more with those characters than they do. I just happen to always play to the strengths when I could and avoid the weakness. If that didn't help, let me know maybe I can get a bit more specific.

    I was just plat 3 the other day and dropped down to low gold 1, as Cloak and Dagger, I feel like getting good damage at range(Max distance as you were saying) is challenging so i clump up with my team. However, these principles seem great and maybe i just have to use them more?

      Everything is situational, that's why I made a series. In the newest video coming, I'm clumped up more due to the threat of a diver. I also reposition a lot more.
      It's always best to have good practices and should a situation call for something different you can adapt on the fly.
      The way you explained it made it seem like it could possibly be a one off type game? Maybe play a few more matches and see if you can do the same or have to adapt to the game.
      Sometimes based on the map, the characters, and the play styles of your team you'll have to play differently.
      You'll notice that in the how to get out of silver video. That is a very abnormal way to play, but I had to to win.

    Yo, I don’t know where to ask this so I’m just gonna ask here. How do I analyze my own games? I mainly play Adam Warlock and when I can be aggressive enough I win games. But more often than not, I have to play more defensively and focus on healing. And when I have to do that I lose. I have no idea why and that’s why I want to analyze my own games. Ty!

    • @poppinoftenwithlofton6036
      @poppinoftenwithlofton6036  17 дней назад +1

      You'll have to learn to balance both. There is no clear cut each game. Adam has burst heals though so you can't spam them as much as let's say Mantis or primary fire healers like invisible woman
      I'd look at how you're managing cooldowns and timings of aggression

    • @mixedmitchell9178
      @mixedmitchell9178 11 дней назад +1

      I play Adam Warlock, not as my main but usually if there is already 2 healers in the game and especially if one is a Mantis.
      He works well like this for me as like an off healer/off damage dealer. Even better if there is a Star Lord as well because then you have 3 heroes in the team who can caccoon every 100 seconds which keeps your team in the fight for longer.
      He's a really good hero but in my opinion very situational depending on team composition and personally I never use him as an out and out healer.

      @@mixedmitchell9178 Loki and Adam are definitely best used as 3rd healers. They can make a good team comp feel unstoppable. I've recently started using Loki as my 3rd healer when we have Storm as dps. Depending on the state of the game, copying her or Luna will legit change the tide.

    So say ur healing from the back of ur team so u can also damage as Invisible women and get dived in the back would u say the best option is to jump into ur team or dive away and reposition somewhere else in the back line

    • @poppinoftenwithlofton6036
      @poppinoftenwithlofton6036  13 дней назад +2

      I think most of the time jump to your team. If you pop out you're pretty much in the same position that you were in in the first place before going invisible. You could jump away and walk to your team, that's a better way to do it, give them a bit of misdirection.
