I do travel with friends, but I also like travelling alone. The big difference is that leading the pack makes you exhausted as you need checking the map all the time, while lonely trip is the option when nobody cares if I maka a mistake ;)
As Portuguese, i really recomend all riders to come here and drive N222 and N304. If you have more time, N2 is also a good option. Enjoy it! Drive safe.
A N108 que começa também no Porto e vai pela margem norte do rio Douro, paralela à N222 até Peso da Régua, também é muito bela quer de paisagens quer do desfrutar da condução da estrada! Abraço e boas curvas✌👍
Man, you passed 300 meters away from my house! 🤣 and I think I passed right beside you, near that accident, I saw a T7 stoped right there, it was probably you!
Most of Portugal is excellent riding. Everyone has their favourite places to ride. Mine is usually on my next trip, hopefully. But you can't go far wrong there. Safe, happy travels 👍
I have been following you since your first videos Paulin and I have really "traveled" with you from Mongolia to New Zealand and from India to Portugal .. England .. everywhere. But .. I haven't seen a single video of your visit to Greece. Ok I understand it might be something you can't share publicly, I respect that and I wish you beautiful travel and always be on your wheels with safety.
Fun to see you in my "backyard" I feel the N222 is fun, but Portugal has beter, much better :) Inland towards the spanish border, the roads running North-south, are gorgeous, a little higher speed and long swooping bends. And a lot less traffic. But hope you enjoyed Portugal defienetely one of my favourite destinations, did you try bacalhao?
I happened on the 222 by accident if you can believe that with my Caballero Scrambler. Coming from Northern Spain to Lisbon. I had just put an address in my WAZE of a hotel. 🤪 I was thinking, wow this is a good road. 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣
Man, i have to say, as a Portuguese, that road is beautiful, but there is a lot of fame surrounding it. There is a lot of roads in Portugal that are at the same level (if i say they are best they will throw rocks to my head XD ) and some are not even announced... Believe me... Portugal has much more, probably better ;)
It's such a bad part of N222 that it doesn't even deserve to be filmed. A waste of time Pavlin. The part that makes this road so famous are the 35km between Peso da Régua and Pinhão, always with the Douro River drawn in the landscape.
Undoubtedly! It's such a bad part that it doesn't even deserve to be filmed. A waste of time Pavlin. The part that makes the road so famous are the 35 km between Peso da Régua and Pinhão, always with the Douro River drawn in the landscape.
top season in Portugal. thank you for visiting my country 🇵🇹 👌🏻
N222 seems to be made for motorcycles -- wonderful road ! Best of luck to Portugal in the World Cup !!!
Agree!
Can't believe you drove by some roads I drive by everyday! I Hope you enjoyed Portugal!
Very beautiful road.
Yes it was!

That's not just the best of Portugal, but the best road to ride in the World. :) Hope you've enjoyed it.
I have been to a number of best of the world roads.

I have been there twice. First time in 1999, the second in 2003. Many years before start uploading videos on RUclips.
Loved riding the N2 earlier this year. Portugal is an amazing place and I’ll be going back
Absolutely!
@@GiancarloBenzina as a taster of what Portugal has to offer, i thought it was brilliant. Going back to explore more though.
Hi Pavlin
Yes,the N222 is equally nice to ride in the opposite direction.
Cheers Barry, UK 🏍

I already know that! It is the same everywhere!
It's a Universal law, put the rain gear on and the rain will stop, take it off and it will start raining again. LOL
Always!
Great video. As always.
What did you think of the driving standards in Portugal, Pavlin? :-)
It was fine. I did not found it different.
I wanted to see what the food looked like!
You will later in the series.
that "dirty" rain is because of the Sahara dust , and welcome to my home land
Thanks for sharing!
The best road of Portugal is the N221 (Guarda - Miranda do Douro) 191 Km
Another best road...
Im a bit suspicious to give opinion about this road 😁
Fair enough!
👍🇦🇪
Thanks!

Thats the worst part of 222 road...
More is coming!
