About Vero:
Did you know that less than 1% of wines make it to US retailers' shelves? At Vero, which means “real” in Italian, we are constantly looking for small production, sustainably made, authentic wines from farmer-artisans not yet present in the US market. Our mission is to create a community of wine and food lovers, small producers and businesses where passion is the common denominator.
Vero, Wonderful, beautiful, and very informative video on the prolific Barbera grape! Thank you, once again for your great video!
Thank you so much for your kind comment 😊
Excellent video, Grazie. I use Barbera from Suisun Valley California shipped east to me in Massachusetts; it makes a tasty wine. Also low in pH.
Thank you for the comment! That sounds like an interesting Barbera you make... it probably is tasty :)
Hi Vero.. Barbera is very well know in the US, they grow wonderfully in CA and WA.
It’s a great grape also to adapt to climate change. It loves heat and has naturally high acid content.
ln Turkey l can find only Prunotto Barbera D'alba. l enjoy it but don't know how good it is compared to other wineries
Prunotto is a famous winery from Monforte in the Langhe. We don't work with them specifically, but rather with another winery from Monforte, Aldo Clerico. What is important that you enjoy the wine! :)
I thought this was about the wine, turns out to be an advert
Thanks for the comment; if you want to learn more about the grape you can also check out this article: verovino.com/vero-blog/about-barbera-italian-red-wine-grape-piedmont-alba-asti
