      Atleast he didn’t abandon hip hop and start doing pop and rock music wether you like his music or not and wether it aged he’s always been a pure lyricist and respected the craft most artist have watered down the genre and used it for hustle and not the love of it

      ive never vibed with em due to his voice being whiny and annoying but it never stopped me from appreciating his unbelievable talent and technical ability. ill listen to some tracks not to vibe out but to be blown away by the lyrical performance, its a differnet type of appreciation. what bugs me is that theres so many dummies that claim hes not at the top of the game (mostly cos hes white, lets be honest) yet theres so many true GOATs that confidently claim is one of, if not the, best to ever do it. people think their opinion is more valid than their favorite rappers when it comes to impact on the culture and artistry of rap.

      its simple personality mirroring. subconsciously copying someones vernacular, speech patterns and body language is normal human behavior. literally everyone does it. i guarantee you do it too without noticing but if you filmed yourself over a long conversation with someone and watched it back itd surprise you. vlad has been around the industry and culture longer than most of his audience has been alive. its pretty easy to talk similar to someone youre familiar with opposed to complete strangers. the same way your voice and vocabulary changes when youre talking to the homies and when youre in a job interview.

    The GOAT conversation is such a subjective thing. West coast dudes most likely will put majority west coast dudes in the GOAT conversation. Same goes for the South and so on because that’s what they’re used to hearing. Then you have the people that say they can’t relate to Em’s lyrics but a lot listen to trap music on knowing damn well they never bodied someone, sold drugs, or ever held a gun. So how do they relate to that? Em is in my top 5 but not because I listen to him often or have listened to him recently. He’s in my top 5 because he is a true lyricist, he’s always giving props to those who inspired him, and he loves Hip Hop. My top 5 in no particular order are Pun, Black Thought, Biggie, Em, and Pac. These are my top 5 but I would never get mad at someone having a entirely different list because top 5 lists are people’s opinions.

The new stuff just seems so forced lyrically like hes trying too hard, it has no flow. He had tons of flow on his first and second lp. But his new stuff is like hes just trying to win the rap olympics and the flow is off. I like flow and groove to music. Eminem is the definition of real hip hop. Tells amazing stories in his raps and doesn't have to jump subjects 30 times in a song just to find words to rhyme. And not more influential than 2pac? That's hilarious. After Eminem dropped he influenced many other rappers after him. 50 cent for one. All of the d12 crew. Many other rappers have said they got influence from Eminems style. Eminem basically took the style of Rakim and 2pac and made another style. It was a lot more crazier too. A lot harder than most of the gangsta rappers rapping about the same shit as everyone else was.

    • @rellohz2755

      @@ebogar42 he’s not the definition of hip hop , he can rap but he is not a definition of real hip hop 😂 and saying he’s more influential then Tupac is a joke. Only white people would believe he’s more influential than Tupac 🤣🤣

    • @ebogar42
      @ebogar42 5 месяцев назад

      No, there are many black people that give him props for being influenced by him. 50 cent. All of D12. Other rappers after him. People like Hopsin who raps very similar at times. Eminem actually got his style from Rakim. Rakim changed the game more than 2pac did. 2pac also got his style from Rakim. Rakim is the one that started making rap sound better than it did in the 80s. Eminem took that style to a higher level. After every rapper heard him they knew they had to step their game up. You probably don't remember because was still rolling around in your dads nut sack, but I remember when Eminem dropped. Nobody even thought he was white at first. There was no real news on him before his album dropped. When I first heard it I was in a friends car and knew immediately he was going to be a star. Didn't matter about skin color. He was bringing something nobody else had done before him plus he could write deep songs like 2pac that have meaning. 2pac was great and my favorite rapper before eminem, but there were other rappers almost exactly like him too that were good. Scarface being one of them. Scarface could also tell a story and get deep at times. Eminem just seemed like he was on a different level. He was saying things nobody else had said, using words nobody else had said, and taking what Rakim had started and expanded on it by taking one word and getting it to rhyme for multiple bars while still not jumping subject to get words to rhyme. Rap started to change a lot after that too and everyone around Eminem blew up in the charts and he was on just about every song or a lot of their songs. Go listen to Stan closely and tell me who could ever come close to doing a song like that. Same as No Love. That shit is fire. Him and Wayne killed it and Wayne has even said he was only so good because he knew Eminem would come hard and didn't want him to show him up. Go listen to Superman. That shit goes hard. I don't care what anyone says. Best break up song ever. @@rellohz2755

You’re not black so you wouldn’t understand. Just respect the fact Eminem will never be respected by the culture to be considered true hip hop . Hip hop was created for black people to express themselves and the culture. Again respect the culture

    • @ebogar42
      @ebogar42 5 месяцев назад

      I can't respect your racist viewpoints. Nobody owns music just like nobody owns sports. Jordan is the greatest of all time to me in basketball even if it was started by white people and in the white culture back in the day. You can't hoard ideas, art, music, expression. That's not how you should ever think. Rap music isn't just in black culture anymore just like country isn't just in white culture anymore. Darius Rucker is one of the greatest country singers and greatest rock stars when he was with Hootie and the Blowfish. Whites started that grunge culture and country culture and Darius isn't excluded from it because he's black. In the end we are all Americans. The things we've created here with the influence of other cultures around the world should be shared by everyone and considered American culture, not white or black culture. We will never be united until people come together as one and stop seeing color so much. I actually think it's an honor when another culture sees what you're doing and wants to be a part of it. It brings people together and you eventually see that you're not so different. Thats why sports are great. It has been a good tool in bringing races together and changing stereotypes you might have. Rap music has done the same. It helps bridge a gap and a lot of times you learn you can relate. It's why I like rap music. I relate to a lot of it. It's why I like Eminem. I can relate to what he says too. It might not always be the same struggles or life experiences, but its relatable in many ways. I didn't grow up in a ghetto, but it was a holler. There was crime, crazy ass hillbillies with guns, fights all the damn time I was in, drug dealing, doing drugs, getting harassed by the police constantly. Getting set up by the police. Getting rights violated by the police. Abusive ass parents and other adults all around. Living with little money. All kinds of relatable shit to me. @@rellohz2755

      Tell me one rap artist that has over 100 songs with replay value like Eminem. Most don't even come close. He makes more money, sells more records, has more streams. You can say Elvis wasn't the greatest to ever do it either, but his fan base and numbers of hits tell a different story.

      Eminem is American culture. Why some of you try so hard to make it a white and black culture thing is stupid. How would you feel if whites said we don't care about Michael Jordan because he's not important to our culture. It's just racist, because Michael Jordan is a part of American culture. He's also a part of basketball culture, which used to be primarily white culture since whites invented it.

      There is nobody like Eminem and why he's better and extraordinary. Nobody can rap like eminem. Nobody can put words together like Eminem. Their vocabularies are very small compared to his. He uses words no other rapper has ever thought about using. Having to use nigga this and that in every song only tells me you have a very small vocabulary and can't think of anything better.

      In my honest opinion he’s absolutely one of the greatest, he ain’t THEE GREATEST but he is for sure one of the greatest rappers around along with many others who’re also a good as him. It’s obvious him being white in a black genre is the reason why many don’t want him to be considered as one of the goats to ever do it and what I respect is he acknowledges hip-hop has always been black music as he owned up to tell the world he’s a guest.
