    Eminem always supported the black community specifically in Detroit. During 8 mile he hired extras even not even needed just to support the community. He had them paid over the whole process. The historical fact is ALL ancestors did horrible things, some to their own people and some to others. In Africa (and other places) different tribes would fight each other for various reasons, but mostly to enslave each other and in some cases, it would result in death. This is no different with what we see in gang beef today, I believe this generational curse of violence is what causes much of the black-on-black violence today. This is not just exclusive to African culture. Native American tribes have historically fought each other and the same with Aztecs and Mayans. In Nordic culture Vikings (Denmark vs Sweden) would fight and pillage each other's tribes. IRA in Ireland fought against the British who made Irish people indentured servants (a polite way to say slave) but nonetheless, they were not free.

    Origins of hip hop/rap is more multicultural than most remember or perpetuate. It developed out of poor communities in New York (South Bronx according to KRS ONE) in the late 70s with lots of black people but other colors of inner city youth as well. It was more celebratory, positive and uniting then. Now all we hear is gangsta rap and are told that’s the real hip hop vs. the corny shit and more and more exclusivity. It’s like propaganda applied to music now.

    The only thing I agreed with Umar on is that love is a choice. I don’t understand how people can be lost on this self evident fact. It shows that one has no agency over their own mind to suggest otherwise. Hate is a choice too, Umar. So is reading books like “Think and Grow Rich”. He could actually do good in the Black community if he would urge people to read that and just stfu.

      @@Alex-ij9ln No, but I chose to stop falling in love because I’m a grown man. I choose whom I love and grow to love now. I don’t know who’s more at fault for the fall of man: my generation, your generation, our respective parents’ generation or their parents or grandparents. But I know for a fact that the notion of “falling” in love is the result of Hollywood influence: keeping in mind witches use wood of the holly to build their wands 🤯

    • @kylemontague980
      @kylemontague980 6 месяцев назад

      @@Alex-ij9lnsorta. You choose who you date and continue to date and therefore you choose who you allow yourself to “fall” for. At some point, if you want to have a lasting, healthy relationship, you have to CHOOSE to love that person. I’ve been happily married for 27 years because I’ve chosen to love the woman I fell for all those years ago. Also, we have to recognize there is no one and only - my wife wasn’t the only person on earth I could have been happily married to, because I could have chosen to love another person I was compatible with and attracted to.
      Keep in mind if you can “fall” in love (meaning not by choice - just an accidental thing that just happens), you can just as easily “fall” out of love (not by choice - an accidental thing that just happens) if you don’t make the conscious choice to love and keep loving. If I want to spend the rest of my life with the person I allowed myself to “fall” for, I’m not going to just leave up to chance that I might “fall” out of love with her or to “fall” in love with somebody else. Rather I am going to choose to love her and only her as my partner for life.

    First rapper in USA was an immigrant danish singer, and he was using the metrics and rhythm from an old Jutlander tradition, "Flyt", the rhyme duels that Skaldar use to engage for enterntainment of Jarls. When Goths (another Germanic tribe just like Jutlanders) invaded the Roman province of Hispania (later Spain), the carry the Flyt with them, and became part of Spanish culture, later taken to their American colonies, in which it's call "paya" in Chile, for example. "doctor" umar is just doing "cultural appropiation" from Whites Culture.

    I can answer your question. You can go to most parts of Atlanta. There are extremely affluent black neighborhoods with very minimal crime. You can also go to Potomac, there’s a whole show on majority black neighborhoods in Potomac that are some of the best in America with minimal crime. How about Oak Cliff Texas. I used to live there and there are neighborhoods that look like suburbia with beautiful houses and the majority of the home owners are black. How about Baldwin Hills, California. It’s considered the black Beverly Hills. You have to travel more before you ask that offensive question.
