Being willing and able to part with old, familiar material things builds discipline and character. Good for you if you get another one. One day soon, I believe, you will be parting with much more than material things. You'll do fine.
Man you're the only guntuber out there promoting homeless shelters. MAD props to you for that. Your reviews are also the most concise out there. Great video
I remember in 2004 when I bought my first pistol and being called a hipster for choosing a CZ75B. It's good to see CZ has stayed on track on being a quality firearm and come more out in the forefront.
Same, I bought one in 2010 and got called a hipster because hammer fired pistols were "old." Then all my friends tried it and no one wanted to shoot their glocks after. I've probably helped CZ sell a half dozen CZ75 variants and P01s based on how great my CZ75B is. BTW, the CZ75SA is just better. If you find one grab it. One of my friends bought one and I was jealous of how amazing the trigger is out of the box.
@@stilllife8 you aren't lying about the BSA. I cajunized it, put the adjustable sear in it and pulled the series 80. Trigger is straight up insane. They're discontinued and expensive these days.
Been a glock man all my life really since 1992. Picked up a P07 and I'm gonna say, I'm extremely impressed with this gun. I've gotten so used glocks that I was blown away with how much better this gun feels In the hand.
I upgraded the sights on my P-01 and did nothing else. I love that gun. For me, everyone is different, one of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot. I have had it for a while. I will not sell it. I have a CZ-75 pre-B model as well, also great. I do recommend CZ pistols. Everything Chris said is spot on.
@@gregz4249 I used Mepro tru-dot tritium night sights. They are serviceable. However, Cajun Gunworks has some Dawson sights that look nice. I might upgrade again to those. Pondering that now.
My P-07 was the first gun I ever bought, and it's not going anywhere. Still my favorite to shoot and such an amazing handgun. Always love when you post CZ content.
Don't sell your first gun. I sold a Mauser that I bought when I turned 18, and I still regret it. There wasn't anything special about it, but I cleaned the cosmaline off of it, and it was just a cool gun. Also sold it for way less than it was worth becuase I was strapped for cash.
This is trippy asf! I pulled out my CZ P-01 and P-07 for range day tomorrow cause I haven’t shot them in a while. RUclips just notified that Honest Outlaw just dropped this video. 😩👍🏾👍🏾
I literally just shot my p01 yesterday lol it was hitting a little right but all hits still on a head size target at 14 yards.. technically I think I shot mine the same day he shot this video.. also took out my canik Glock 23 and 45-70 & 30-30 my problem is that take out too many guns to shoot so I don't get enough time behind any single one lol still have some zeroing to do with the lever guns because it was getting dark but the time I started shooting them and my CZ could be drifted just a hair but the others are pretty much on
Same as you, but a year after. The P01 has been a better shooter, easier to conceal, complete powerhouse. Loved that P07, which I sold to a friend since, but the classic-trigger all-steel P01 is just perfect.
I discovered CZ when I was shopping for a single action in .40 back in the mid 90's. I now have eight CZs. Most recently I found a PO6. It's the 40 cal version of the P01. The only problem is deciding which ones to shoot on any given day. Love your videos. Keep 'em coming. Greetings from Minnesota.
Honest outlaw you are one of the main reasons I picked up my p07 and I couldn't be happier! It's my first DA/SA and it has spoiled me when going back to my striker. Thanks buddy, I love it!
Been renting these two guns over the last two weeks... Today, I picked up a P-07 (barely used) with the factory night sights!! Thanks for your reviews that steered me over to CZ!
I’ve owned both of these guns, have a slight preference for the grip of the P01. Really fond of both of them, was blown away by how how good the triggers felt compared to my H&K P30.
I also have one that is my EDC. I put the Cajun package in it and added the Dawson fiber optics sights. It and my 75B and the 97 BD are going in the coffin with me. Wherever I end up, I'll be ready. ;-)
I also have the CZ 75D PCR and will have to say it is my favorite pistol. It is part of my EDC rotation alongside my Sig P229 40 S&W and my S&W J-frame 38 Special. I find with my CZ 75D PCR my groups are very good and at over 1000 rounds fired it has been very reliable. Super satisfied with my PCR, I probably carry it 75% of the time, my Sig has become the truck gun of the group so it is never far from my person too.
Found a man that sold me P 07 for $150. Pretty much brand new. I thought it was hot till he wanted me to do the federal back ground check. That was one of three great deals I got that day. He was moving and just wanted to sell them. Sold it with to extra mags to boot. Can see many hours of enjoyment running rounds though it. Enjoyed watching as always.
This is my jam! Own a bunch of CZ’s. P-01 was my first and started the expensive addiction. Use a SP-01 in competition. Just bought a TS 2 and pick it up Sunday 😎 Thanks 🙏 for the great content
Trigger pinch on my CZ 75B started me looking for a replacement trigger, and that opened up a whole new world to me. I ended up getting the 85c Old Style trigger from Cajun, and the spring kit from MCarbo along with a stainless steel guide rod; what a tremendous difference! My 75B was always a great shooter, now it's absolutely incredible. Now my only problem was seeing the rear sights, the front sights, and the target- but with my old eyes, "pick one" wasn't a good answer. Then I found that dovetail mounts can be had, so of course I got one, and a Holosun 407CX2 to go on it; NOW I can see the target clearly and the red dot too, and my accuracy went up 200%! Zip-a-dee do dah, zip a de aye, my oh my what a wonderful day! And then-- and then-- Along came a "used" P01, which had maybe one magazine put through it, in my nearby candy store; it had Truglo TFX sights on it with green Coolhand aluminum grips, and came in the original case with two mags. It was love at first sight! It came home with me (after some dickering) for the absolutely ridiculous price of $504.00! I'm living in a dream, and for once it's a beautiful dream- and that pistol shoots almost as good as my 75B, even though it's pure stock except for the sights & grips. Now I'm broke, but already scheming about getting another micro red dot... Thanks for your channel, Outlaw! We're both living the dream! I just love CZ, there's not a better handgun made!
I've gotten 3 CZs based on your recommendation and I couldn't be happier. Started with a Shadow 2, then P-07 and shortly after P10C. Thanks for the recommendation, they are all amazing.
I shot both based on HO's recommendations before settling on the P-01 for my EDC. I'm not a giant ginger with catcher's mitts for hands, so the ability to swap on some thinner grip panels sold me, and I have never regretted the decision. I put in the EDC trigger kit from CGW and started using DA in earnest for the first time in my life after going appendix for the reasons listed in this video. The easy DA with this is amazing. I love me a 1911, I have a Shield, but the P-01 is what I'd use when the SHTF.
My two carry guns are a Glock 19 and Cz p01 omega. I love my CZ more then the Glock in almost every category. It’s been more reliable, it’s more ergonomic, it’s safer to carry having that heavy double action. However after having an issue with my Glock and being able to easily diagnose it and fix it (ejector upgrade) with no gunsmithing experience. I realize why the Glock is superior. It’s so simple and popular that anybody can master it and every issue it has is well well documented. Just a RUclips video away and my ass had the whole thing taken apart and fixed in less than a half hour. Not to mention the fact that it’s so universally used, for SHTF Glock wins. For EDC in the modern western world, CZ hammer fired wins.
Just picked up the P07 for quite cheap. Very accurate, can easily hit a target at 15 yards whether using DA or SA. Grip is just a tad bit big and the double action requires a decent amount of pull but I'm loving it so far.
A cajunized PCR is my favorite carry piece! I love everything about 75 variants except for the dastardly little spring in the sear cage that can’t be seen with the naked eye, and it loves to go flying and forever disappear….
I have had a CZ P-07 in my collection for years and it's responsible for my single greatest 5-shot, 7-yard group ever. Not just a one hole group. One single bullet hole! Crazy! I love this gun so much, I keep buying other versions of it. I recently bought a IWI Jericho Enhanced AND the surprisingly good BUL Armory Cherokee Compact. Now I just need to overcome my inherent cheapness and buy a Shadow 2! Thanks for the great review.
How's the armory Cherokee compared to he p07? Saw one at the store and was just confused looking at it.. Picked it up and it felt great. But I have no other experience with it.
So far, so good. BUL Armory has a great reputation and I prefer the double action pull on the Cherokee. The grip texture is really intense but is amazing. And i found mine on line for $350!!! Of course, CZ has much more after market support.
I have owned 8 CZ pistols over the years. My EDC is the P-07 with upgraded sights from CZ Custom and a short reset disconnector from CGW. You can't beat them for reliability, accuracy, and ergonomics.
Got both and love both of them, fun to shoot, fits extremely well in the hand and like honest outlaw said CZ is tough as hell. I’d pick my PO1 though if I had to choose just one ☝️
My first gun is a CZ P07 because I don't like striker-fired but I do like concealability, reliability and affordability. Here in South Africa it is the most affordable handgun with those 4l3 attributes.
I have no experience with the P-07, but as a P-01 owner of three years now, I can tell you that a P-01 with a trigger and pin kit from Cajun Gun Works (I like to refer to it as "moderately Cajunized"; if you get the kit with the extended firing pin, you'll still be spending less than $100), the Matrix grips from Lok (which brings the width of the grip down to a little over 1.15 inches), and better sights (there are a number of options out there for 75 variants), the P-01 shoots like a gun at least twice its price -- AT LEAST. Many of course choose to send theirs in to Cajun to get it fully "Cajunized," but just the spring and pin kit alone will turn it into a thing of beauty to shoot and carry (and as many have reported, it will make the P-01 even more reliable than it already is)!
Thanks! Through the last couple of years you've cost me PLENTY! Your reviews help me to make decisions on purchases AND also drive my purchases. LOL, wish I had your range, but then I'd need even MORE bullets. You two rock!
This is unbelievable, I just bought both of these guns this year, first I got the P07 at the beginning of the year I was very interested in the P07 after seeing your review on it a few years back and finally found it and it is accurate AS FUCK!!! Just like you said in your review, I love this pistol. Then I saw your review on the P01 and heard nothing but good things about it and just bought one about 3 weeks ago and I love this pistol as well, for me it’s a toss up between the two, I edc both of them and becoming a CZ fan, thanks for the content that you put out man big fan of the channel Outlaw!!!
Get the mcarbo 07 trigger spring kit and polish everything and you won't believe how good the trigger will be. The travel stays long on the 1st pull but my da pull is usually 2.4 to 2.7lbs now and my dad pull is at about 6lbs. But I may get a short stroke trigger for my 09 tactical to make it 100 percent better.
Just recently made the switch from glock to cz and I was very indecisive between these two. Finally settled on the P07. Complete game changer. Absolutely worth every penny.
I bought my P-07 because of this channel. Its definitely a fast ride for a polymer carry pistol. Especially if you have the time to start in single action.
I have been considering getting the all steel SP-01. According to what you were stating, it might make that version even more desirable as the extra weight would help to mitigate the slight recoil of the 9mm. I don’t mind the extra weight as I have carried all steel guns for years and just use the stiffest leather belt I can find. It makes the weight very tolerable. Thanks for sharing, Chris.
I have a regular CZ-75 and a SP-01 and I can say I’ll carry the steel 75 all day but the SP-01 is strictly my bedside gun. Yes the weight does help with recoil but it’s too much to carry and I’ve been carrying steel guns as long as I’ve been carrying. I’d get a 75 first personally
I agree. I have a 75b and a P-09. Love both and HAD to have both, but if I were forced to pick one, it’d be the P-09. I’m 6ft 235lb and I EDC no problem. (In Missouri, so constitutional carry)
Struggled to make make my Canik tp9 elite sub compact fit but never got comfortable. The grip was just too square and bulky. Good gun with great trigger. Cz fit better. Grips better. Like the double action first shot. When I draw the gun I am right on the sights. Love it.
Thanks for your excellent videos. Just in case you want to check it out, due to the less mass of the aluminum frame of the CZ-75 P-01, its slide recoil is much higher than an all-steel CZ-75 BD or a CZ-75 B compact. After installing a three-spring DPM recoil reducer with its steel guide rod, my CZ-75 P-01 Omega became an unbelievably soft recoil gun, which enhanced my accuracy significantly. Keep up the good work!
Oh my God … bought the CZ PO7 new in the box in around $427.00 brand new . Went shooting yesterday and my jaws drop to the floor . What an amazing gun !!!. Really surprise totally. So accurate , easy to handle , size just feel great !, recoil easy , soft shooter , the trigger really surprises me . I feel this gun and ke had been together for ever . My wife try it , the same experience. This is not the only CZ at home , but none of them had ever give us a positive impression like this one .. thanks !
I remember when i had my p01 and there was no aftermarket items, much has changed. Both are great firearms. And if you ever run out of ammo with the p01 you can always use it as a weapon due to its size and weight.
I'm brand new to the CZ party and am absolutely hooked. I picked up a new CZ75-SP-01competition (red aluminum grips) labor day weekend, and absolutely LOVE IT. Got it brand new for less than $225 under retail. I first picked up a shadow 2 and wanted to love it, but it didn't fit my small/medium sized hands well from an ergo standpoint. Then I saw the SP-01 comp and the moment I felt it, I was in love, The stock grips out of the box are perfect for me and I cannot believe how well it shoots out of the box. While at the range this past weekend, I closed the session by shooting my Sig p365xl, and it just was not very much fun to shoot by comparison. I realize it's not a fair comparison, but I really felt the recoil impulse of that gun quite a bit after shooting the CZ. Honest Outlaw is right: bore axis, reciprocating weight, and internal slide rails make all the difference in the world. As a result, I'm really thinking about a CZ p-01 omega as my EDC in lieu of my Sig 365xl. The sig is not a bad gun at all, but between the recoil impulse and my desire to train/get good at DA/SA while having the added safety of a hammer for appendix carry, I've been thinking more and more about the right DA/SA pistol. The funny thing about all of this is that I had not really been sold on CZ's, but had been a Beretta fan boy for a long time, and I went in that day to the store thinking I for sure wanted a Beretta M9a4 or 92x competition-- both of which I had researched extensively. But after I felt the SP-01 comp in my hands compared to the 92x, and after having previously watched so many of the HO's videos professing his love of CZ, I pulled the trigger on the sp-01 competition with very little research. It just felt right.n Also, I think Beretta quality and reliability as of late has taken a big hit. And after this video, I think it helps confirm the plan for a p-01 omega.
The p-01 omega is never not the right move. Do yourself a favor if you get it milled for an optic get it for a 507K not C. You'll retain your rear dovetail that way.
Thanks for the review on the P-07. From tracking RUclips videos on it, the P-07 came on strong about five or six years ago as the next new thing, and later seemingly died on the vine. I bought one NIB last summer. It's a good shooter, but a little quirky to take down. I was considering selling it but your video has encouraged me to hang on to it and invest more time into getting very good with it.
My first pistol was a CZ P10F, bought to get me started in pistols, and be a target/home defense piece. I wanted to eventually find a solid EDC piece, and the P07 was the first pistol I felt mentally comfortable carrying with "one in the pipe." I now have a P09 as my HD gun (mine came to me with a red dot sight already mounted), and my P07 now serves as my dry-fire mainstay (the CZ 75D PCR that has become my EDC doesn't have a Pic rail, so won't hold the Mantis X dry-fire trainer) and backup carry piece.
P01 was my 1st CZ, bought it used with 0 rounds through her. I changed the sights and grips and that's it. Absolutely a SWEET shooter and one of my favorites.
- Exactly right about the hammer "safety feature" during holstering. I was saved by exactly that with my duty holster. My uniform button down had come untucked and got jammed in the holster as I holstered. Felt the hammer move and froze.
Liked my steel frame compact with rail 99021 so much that I got myself , my wife, and my oldest son the P01. Excellent firearms. Can't speak highly enough of these. Haven't tried the P07 . Looking for a P06. Hard to find.
I got one a few months back. Feels like a P01, but the mag base plate sticks out a bit too far. Nice to have a .40 around for variety. It’s got a good trigger once it’s worn in, but Cajun has ruined me, because nothing beats a Cajun trigger. I fight with keeping it stock as a collector, and making myself happy…..decisions, decisions….
I’ve had a P 06 for years and originally found it to be quite snappy. Added a DPM recoil reduction spring kit and it made it almost like shooting 9mm. When you get one add it and You will be pleasantly surprised!
Just picked up my first CZ 2 days ago. Everyone that I ask absolutely love them and say they are so durable. Can’t wait to get to training with it. My holster is coming in today so I can practice drawing with my holster in my office while I work.
I have found both these platforms to be obscenely accurate both in my hands and in the hands of shooters who have varying levels of experience. I think of accuracy as a qualitative term (not quantitative) encompassing many subjective variables including the shooter. The fact is that out of the box the ergonomics, the trigger pull, and the mechanical design such as the internal slide rails and the barrel lockup deliver amazing results. It only gets better with customization, but you don’t need to do anything to them if you don’t want to. Brand new my p01 put 4 rounds in 1 clean hole at 10 yds. Best group I ever shot. I handed it off to my buddy (who has even more experienced than me) and he did the exact same thing. So I chose not to mess with it. I changed out the grips to Lok grips but other than that I don’t want to mess up a great thing lol.
Great review! Love DA/SA guns. Don’t get me wrong, I like the striker fire guns too but the DA/SA has more practical use for me and my system. I can keep my thumb on the hammer when holstering, dry fire practice with double strike (and not build bad habits of racking the slide), and I shoot them better most of the time.
Don’t CZ’s have some kinda of mechanism that damages the firing pin when you dry fire? I’ve seen websites selling hammer blocks that sit over the exterior of the firing pin
@@markcurry3083 If you dry fire with a dummy round it helps protect the firing pin stop (cotter pin you see from the side). If you dry fire with no rounds in chamber it is constantly hitting that stop and will damage the pin stop. Typically this is the first thing that will wear out in the gun and CGW sells a replacement pin.... but you hear guys say that 5k rounds is a good point to replace it.
When I changed out the trigger (just the trigger-CGW) on my PO1, I was amazed at the difference. That alone made the pistol feel like the trigger pull had dropped and the slight reduction in the curvature of the new trigger completely eliminated the bite I was feeling from the factory trigger. I went on to add Lok grips and replace all the springs: recoil, trigger return, seer, firing pin, firing pin block, and hammer, (Mcarbo) and replaced the plastic guide rod with, stainless steel and firing pin retaining pin which was flagged as an issue. Finally I replaced the sites with TruGlo night sights because the one thing I really disliked about the pistol was the factory sights as this is my preferred EDC and I wanted to pick up that front sight quickly more than I needed to hit targets at distance. I love this pistol now more than I did when I got it. The ergonomics you mention are just beautiful. I am looking forward to a review after you make some upgrades you keep threatening to make. Thanks for all the videos, you are one of my favorite content providers and I recommend your channel to new shooters all the time.
I have the CZ75 P01 omega. It is by far the easiest shooting gun I own. When friends shoot it, they're also impressed by how much fun it is to shoot. It's a little heavy for my EDC, but I do use it occasionally. I've not felt the need to upgrade anything. though one day I might put night sights on it. Love this gun.
I bought my P-07 thanks to your reviews, fantastic gun. if you want to ad a red dot I got mine done at primary machine, you mail the optic with the slide and they do everything and send it back with the optic mounted. took about 4 weeks but it was very well done, I couldn't be happier. I went with a 507kX2 green
As someone buying my first carry gun, I went with the 07 because for one, it seems to run about 200 bucks cheaper in my area and as a new shooter I want the least recoil possible on my edc
Love my P-07. I have carried it for years and will continue to carry. Had Vulcan machine works do an optic cut and slapped a red dot on it. Love it even more now. Great vid. Thanks.
I LOVE my P07 and my P10C. Both shoot amazing and are unreal. The little skid on the frame is PERFECT to index in order to get that support hand torque for shooting well.
Just got my P-01 fully 'cajunized' by CGW about a month ago. Pro kit, optics cut, dawson sights, & cerakoted slide. I thought I loved it before..but now? Favorite pistol ever.
Good video. Had two Cajunized P07s, one w a dot and the other with Dawson fiber optic front. Also had a stock P01. All great. Agreed re: the recoil impulse being better on the P07. The Cajun upgrades are a must in my view. But I probably preferred the ergonomics on the P01 myself. I don’t have any DA/SA CZs at this point, having sold/traded them. But if i were to get another it’d be a Cajunized P01. But really, you can’t go wrong.
I absolutely love CZ pistols. Bought a P-07 suppressor ready, then bought an SP-01 Tactical, and then bought a P01 Omega. My P-07 has a Primary Machine comp, 507c, and CGW trigger kit that I installed and polished. The P-07 is my daily, the SP-01 is my backup/range toy, and the P-01 is fairly new to me, though I may do the same work to it as I've had done to the P-07. But I don't think it'll ever replace the P-07. I took a Bill Blowers 1000 round class with it, I've shot it a bunch more and it just keeps working for me.
I’ve had CZ for a long time, but I like the old school metal versions. When CZ discontinued the SP01 Phantom for the second time I had to get one, especially on sale!! 😉 This has easily become one of my favorite guns. It’s old school top, newer style omega polymer frame ( which does absorb recoil better than the all metal version ), it’s lite weight, and is really BA when tuned with CGW parts!! One of the only down sides is the extra thin slide hinders a quality way to mount a MRD, but it helps in slide manipulation.
Finally bought myself a P-07 yesterday. Found a "new old stock" model from 2011, from back when it was still labeled the "CZ 75 P-07", and it has the "Duty" mark on the front end of the slide. It's the very first modern pistol I ever wanted back when I first got into guns. I love how it feels, and I'm looking forward to sending it off for custom work.
I have the PCR and love it. From what I’m seeing the P-01 is basically the PCR with a light rail. A Cajun trigger makes a fantastic gun a spectacular gun.
I carry my P07 everyday and have shot more rounds than I care to count without any issues. Great guns, both the P07 and P01. I love this channel. Keep the good stuff coming!
Two awesome compact CZs. Tough choice. I probably would try to get both if possible because I personally wouldn't be able to choose one over the other, but what I can say is that I'd take either of them over the most other pistols of the same size. In fact, the only pistol I for sure would like to have more than either would be the Gen 2 Walther P99 with the extended ambi slide catch, but that's because I always had a thing for the P99 for the longest time.
I've been carrying a Ruger sr1911 commander for around 6 years now but about a week ago I was in one of my local gun shops and they had a very gently used CZ P01 in the case. They gave me a good cash deal on it so I bought it. It's the first CZ I have ever owned and all I can say is that I should have brought one a long time ago. To get a grip on the P01 is like shaking hands with an old friend. I've got around a hundred rounds through it now and the only thing I'm going to change are the grips.
I just bought the P07 and I love it, I also have a 365XL W/Wilson combat grip module, the P07 is superior to the sig, I know they are different but you can feel the quality in the CZ.Thanks for the recommendation
I've carried both of these guns. The p01 has a better trigger(both cajunized) and ergos. The p07 has a better aftermarket and milling options. Personal preference if you ask me. The p01 carries easier, though.
Great video was excited to see this comparison. My edc is a P01 omega and I have absolutely loved it since I got it and never plan on letting it go. It's always been reliable and more accurate than I am. Cz certainly makes a fine product.
Great comparison. I have both of these exact models in large part to your praise of them. I loved the P-07 the very first time I saw or held one. In 2021 I finally bought one and shortly thereafter the P-01. I put a set of nice LOK grips on it and it is fantastic also. My two favorite hammer guns in 9mm. I kind of wish I could find me a P-09 in .40. That would be awesome too!! It would be like having a Bren Ten but better and in .40.
I got a cz p09 with threaded barrel and suppressor sights this year. I absolutly love it and I can't wait for my suppressor to get out of paperwork jail to start using then together. I had always thought cz was overhyped till I bought one for myself
Great video! I’ve had a trio of CZs for years, the PCR, P01 and the P06. Initially I found the P06 very snappy until I added the DPM 3 spring and guide rod kit. It is a recoil reduction system made in Greece and it lives up to the advertising, so much so that I added it to all three CZs. The reason I mention this is because you said that the P01 recoil was the reason you chose the P07. This addition might change your mind while reducing wear and tear also. I have no connection to DPM by the way. Maybe give it a try…. Incidentally, the 2 CZs have 3.75” barrels - not to nit pick. Regards
after I watched your first P-01 video I went out the next week and picked up an omega, installed the full CGW internals, put on some LOK grips, and had the slide milled for an optic. freaking SWEET gun
I sold my P07. Wanted to stay consistent with making terrible life choices. I’m going to buy another one soon!
I Did the exact same thing. Sold my P 07 back in 2016 only to miss it and buy another in 2020. Never selling this one again.
Being willing and able to part with old, familiar material things builds discipline and character. Good for you if you get another one. One day soon, I believe, you will be parting with much more than material things. You'll do fine.
I’ve got two of them that I’m not selling. Traded my p09 in at my friends shop and bought it back. Couldn’t stand looking at it on the shelf
Sold my 75 omega😢 another terrible life choice as well for me
Go buy a Cybertruck now to make another terrible life choice 😂
Man you're the only guntuber out there promoting homeless shelters. MAD props to you for that. Your reviews are also the most concise out there. Great video
I remember in 2004 when I bought my first pistol and being called a hipster for choosing a CZ75B. It's good to see CZ has stayed on track on being a quality firearm and come more out in the forefront.
Still makes you a hipster 🤣, but thats okay
They still call us hipsters. 😂
They'll call you hipsters, but you can always call them Glock users so it's fine.
Been a glock man all my life really since 1992. Picked up a P07 and I'm gonna say, I'm extremely impressed with this gun. I've gotten so used glocks that I was blown away with how much better this gun feels In the hand.
Anything based of John browning design is going to be supper comfy
I upgraded the sights on my P-01 and did nothing else. I love that gun. For me, everyone is different, one of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot. I have had it for a while. I will not sell it. I have a CZ-75 pre-B model as well, also great. I do recommend CZ pistols. Everything Chris said is spot on.
Hard to beat CZ. I have many different models and they're all excellent.
What sights did you upgrade too ,I wanting to do same
Dawson Precision
Love my CZ pistol 😊
@@gregz4249 I used Mepro tru-dot tritium night sights. They are serviceable. However, Cajun Gunworks has some Dawson sights that look nice. I might upgrade again to those. Pondering that now.
My P-07 was the first gun I ever bought, and it's not going anywhere. Still my favorite to shoot and such an amazing handgun. Always love when you post CZ content.
Exact same here
How much is it

Don't sell your first gun. I sold a Mauser that I bought when I turned 18, and I still regret it. There wasn't anything special about it, but I cleaned the cosmaline off of it, and it was just a cool gun.
Also sold it for way less than it was worth becuase I was strapped for cash.
This is trippy asf! I pulled out my CZ P-01 and P-07 for range day tomorrow cause I haven’t shot them in a while. RUclips just notified that Honest Outlaw just dropped this video. 😩👍🏾👍🏾
That’s how good The Algorithm is!
The world just revolves around you I guess
How much ammo you dropping tomorrow?
I literally just shot my p01 yesterday lol it was hitting a little right but all hits still on a head size target at 14 yards.. technically I think I shot mine the same day he shot this video.. also took out my canik Glock 23 and 45-70 & 30-30 my problem is that take out too many guns to shoot so I don't get enough time behind any single one lol still have some zeroing to do with the lever guns because it was getting dark but the time I started shooting them and my CZ could be drifted just a hair but the others are pretty much on
Shoot both! Cant go wrong! 😉
I've had a P-07 for years, picked up my first P-01 today... pretty funny timing haha. Thanks for all the great content!
Thanks man, I was wondering if there was a 40 cal version.
I've got a CZ 75d PCR and it's wonderful. The ergonomics are outstanding
I own the same model and it’s my EDC. I own over 200 pistols and this is my favorite out of all of them.
I also have one that is my EDC. I put the Cajun package in it and added the Dawson fiber optics sights. It and my 75B and the 97 BD are going in the coffin with me. Wherever I end up, I'll be ready. ;-)
@@joshuaraffensperger3592 hallelujah!!
@@stephenschroeder6567 I just bought the 97bd, looking forward to some range time with it!
Super satisfied with my PCR, I probably carry it 75% of the
time, my Sig has become the truck gun of the group so it is never far from my person too.
Found a man that sold me
P 07 for $150.
Just got a tanfo limited master 9mm 😌
And then-- and then--
Along came a "used" P01, which had maybe one magazine put through it, in my nearby candy store; it had Truglo TFX sights on it with green Coolhand aluminum grips, and came in the original case with two mags.
Witch one do you prefer I have a shadow 2 and everyone just loves that gun. Flashy and great on the field.
I wish they would come out with a slim version of these guns to compete with the p365. A da/sa microcompact would be amazing
Agreed..... who knows, they may have done away with the Rami for a reason...... If it's a new Single/double micro w/ a decocker, I'm first in line!
Definitely a hole in the market. I've been waiting for the same thing.
💯 I’d be all over that. Well… as soon as I leave CA or we dump our illegal handgun roster.
I hope CZ see this ☝🏾
You could try switching out to a thinner LOK Grip. They’re nice 👍
More P07 content! Such an underrated firearm!
Which grips did you use to make the grip smaller?
Just picked up the P07 for quite cheap. Very accurate, can easily hit a target at 15 yards whether using DA or SA. Grip is just a tad bit big and the double action requires a decent amount of pull but I'm loving it so far.
Love my CZ's. Quality, reliability, shoot ability, capacity...doesn't get much better
Awesome video! P-01 and P-07 are absolutely my two favorite handguns. I’ve always considered the P-07 to be the DA/SA Glock 19. Pure utilitarian.
I love both my CZ P-01 and SP-01 pistols (both cajunized), by far my favorite manufacturer. Thanks for the great video.
A cajunized PCR is my favorite carry piece! I love everything about 75 variants except for the dastardly little spring in the sear cage that can’t be seen with the naked eye, and it loves to go flying and forever disappear….
I felt your pain in reading this. I had the lifter arm spring fly away too. Had to order 3 from CGW to finish the install.
Shadow 2 cajunized
CZ P07 is my every day carry. Installed an upgrade spring kit from Cajun gun works and made it even greater.
P07 has to be one of the sexiest guns I've ever seen.
My CZ P-07 was one of my first handgun purchases…good to know that I got lucky with that one. I love the gun and how it shoots! Great review!
Love my 07 that I purchased in 2013 and can't wait to pick up my 01 this Saturday....thank you!!
Love them both but the p-01 omega has kicked all of my old ccw to the curb. Definitely the better of the two.
Thanks! Through the last couple of years you've cost me PLENTY! Your reviews help me to make decisions on purchases AND also drive my purchases. LOL, wish I had your range, but then I'd need even MORE bullets. You two rock!
Same here and I am embarrassed to say how much.
P-07 is one of my very favorites also. I carry it far more often than anything else. Nice comparison video. Never tried the P-01 but now I will.
You've always given the most comprehensive and impartial gun reviews, so I've come to truly value your opinions! Thank you!
Nice, you can’t just have one cz pistol!! You got to try out the shadow 2!!
Grabbed a P07 a few weeks ago and just love it. A great addition to my other CZs
Just recently made the switch from glock to cz and I was very indecisive between these two. Finally settled on the P07. Complete game changer. Absolutely worth every penny.
You made a great decision and chose a great platform.
@mallswordislaw5723 why?
CZ made a few all steel P01's.
Love it.
Ever since I switched to carrying a P01, I can’t imagine any other gun on my hip. Just fantastic. P07s are good too! CZ is always a solid buy!
CZ 2075 RAMI,, is the most accurate compact pistol ever made, it’s never jammed, 2000 rods thru mine, it’s awesome
Just bought a P07 on layaway and I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Purchased a P-07 Duty in 2009 when they first came out. Excellent pistol. Still have it.
I got a barely used P07 last year and absolutely love it. It's in my carry rotation.
Any holster recommendations?
@@voltaire5427 I wanted to use an olight baldr so I got a cheap one on Amazon. But if no light, I would recommend Crossbreed or alien gear myself.
If you're looking for a hybrid, the Black Arch Protos m is a really nice choice.
Watching this in November 2023. Still relevant gun. Still best Gun Reviewer on the Planet. Good job, Chris.
Will never be as good as hickok45
Thanks for your excellent videos. Just in case you want to check it out, due to the less mass of the aluminum frame of the CZ-75 P-01, its slide recoil is much higher than an all-steel CZ-75 BD or a CZ-75 B compact. After installing a three-spring DPM recoil reducer with its steel guide rod, my CZ-75 P-01 Omega became an unbelievably soft recoil gun, which enhanced my accuracy significantly. Keep up the good work!
Yup, I have DPM recoil springs in all my pistols.
Love the P01! I've been looking at the P07 recently. Thanks for producing this video.
Anytime I've found a p06 online it's gone like the wind 🙁
I got one a few months back. Feels like a P01, but the mag base plate sticks out a bit too far. Nice to have a .40 around for variety. It’s got a good trigger once it’s worn in, but Cajun has ruined me, because nothing beats a Cajun trigger. I fight with keeping it stock as a collector, and making myself happy…..decisions, decisions….
Sold my P-06 regret it every day
I’ve had a P 06 for years and originally found it to be quite snappy. Added a DPM recoil reduction spring kit and it made it almost like shooting 9mm. When you get one add it and You will be pleasantly surprised!
@@vincemurray5677 I had added a dpm system to my g32 and I was surprised as well how much it improved the snappiness
This channel ways gives the best information. I never thought about CZ pistols till watching this channel.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE REVIEWS IS THAT YOU ACTUALLY TEST THE GUNS.
Dry firing my p-01 too much caused the retention roll pin to break. Was advised to use snap caps to keep this from happening.
If you like the omega you’ll love the ‘regular’ trigger. Especially if you do some Cajun Gunworks modifications.
I'm probably going to be switching my P10C for a P07. This is the only gun channel I watch.
I picked up a P 07 about four months ago after watching one your videos about the gun. Couldn't be more pleased!
Do you know if you can put a shielded Shadow 2 safety on either of em?
I have both. I prefer the p07... its just amazing can't explain it
I've been eyeballing a CZ p-07 at the pawn shop. Happy to see this review.. now it will be mine!!
My FAVORITE for years is the CZ P07
Got a Rami and a Compact a few years ago. Love them both, will never trade or sell.
Love my P01 and SP01 but miss my P07 and P09 sometimes but I think I went with the more superior duo
Sp01 is the shiz
I absolutely love my P-07. My only complaint is the difficulty finding holsters that fit lights.
Phlster floodlight or JM custom kydex is the way to go
I have the PCR and love it. From what I’m seeing the P-01 is basically the PCR with a light rail. A Cajun trigger makes a fantastic gun a spectacular gun.
Thank you for making this. There seems to be such a lack of comparisons between these two. Great vid as always!
I carry my P07 everyday and have shot more rounds than I care to count without any issues. Great guns, both the P07 and P01. I love this channel. Keep the good stuff coming!
Great comparison. Love my po7. Kind of worried about CZ north America and their merger with Colt. Hope it doesn't ruin my favorite brand.
CZ bought Colt ! I’m sure CZ’s calling the shots. Colts been in financial trouble for a while.
I did not know my P01 Mags would fit into my P07. Thanks for that info. I just gained more mags for my fav pistol, the P07.
The Polish border patrol uses the P07 and has great results. 👍
My p01 was my first pistol and it’s really my baby , amazing to shoot no complaints after 2500 rounds
Totally agree. The P07 is awesome.
Everything you stated I relate to and find to be of the same opinion.
Actually the CZ 75 in .40 is more like the Bren Ten. It IS awesome!
Regards
?
after I watched your first P-01 video I went out the next week and picked up an omega, installed the full CGW internals, put on some LOK grips, and had the slide milled for an optic. freaking SWEET gun
