I had a 13 year old Intrepid, I was literally driving to trade it in and someone dinged the door when I stopped to pick something up on the way, I was still pissed off. It was old, it was falling apart, I was driving to trade it in, but it was still mine.
It’s cool hes just willing to dog on his own car. It’s also cool he doesn’t feel the need to spend money upgrading. Like…it’s fine, and he’s a humble guy. The sea of plastic doesn’t bug him.
Jeep seems to be one of the most hilarious cases of customers being lured to the "brand" despite Jeeps being shitboxes for basically the last two decades
The other that comes to mind is Harley Davidson. Pretty much the same story - American icon, was once very well regarded but has gradually gone downhill, has a very loyal following no matter how crappy the vehicles are, sell a specific image that keeps the loyalists coming back, and branded merch are probably a larger part of their business than most vehicle companies. They survive on image and branding, their vehicles can't stand on their own. At least Jeep has the Wrangler, which sort of stands alone, there aren't many competing models that offer the same thing. I've heard the new Bronco is the first real Wrangler alternative in a long time. But the other Jeep models (which I likewise question if ought to be called "Jeeps" as they're not off-road vehicles) have nothing to offer that other cars don't do better. Harley, to my understanding, doesn't even have that in its favor, as competitors offer similar-style bikes that are better in every way.
Jeep has become a luxury brand. The luxury is the image of go anywhere, do anything and you certainly pay for it. To be fair, the Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer have become very well-equipped. If you're buying a Wrangler you're willing to put up with all of the compromises to have something you think is cool and capable.
@@bwofficial1776 I wouldn't think of that as "luxury" in the traditional sense, like Lexus or Cadillac or something, even if the Wagoneer is sort of moving in that direction (and was so un-off-road that when I saw a preproduction prototype in "camouflage" I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be an SUV or minivan). More it's about a specific image, they - particularly Wranglers - are not sold just as "vehicles" in the pragmatic sense, but as a lifestyle accessory and perhaps even statement that also serves as a vehicle. So people will buy them for the off road capability and image, even if it's crap as a vehicle. I could see that, but still suspect there's some brand loyalty involved, associated with that image. If a better alternative, one that's a better value for the money or better made, came along, many would probably stay loyal to Jeep even if the new option is better in every way.
People like to shit on GM quality from this era and while yes they were absolute crap Chrysler products were nothing but cheap fragile plastic. I had an ‘01 dodge ram and within 10 years the dash plastic was almost gone falling apart and the engine was good but also meh at the same time.

Even funnier is that this Jeep is kept in better condition, is certainly cleaner, than the Ferrari was. An amusing contrast between a legendary vehicle meant to be garaged and driven on summer weekends being used as a daily beater, versus a vehicle meant to be thrown away maintained in spotless condition.
I almost had to buy one of these when I hydroplaned my car coming home from college. I needed a car quick so I could get back to my classes and this was sadly the best option available. Luckily they sold it while I was at the bank getting the money together and I ended up getting a '99 Isuzu Trooper for less money. It's been an absolute tank and I've fell in love with it.
@@coejbee no I definitely could have gotten luckier if it had a manual transmission and not the GM 4L30E, although I haven't had any issues with it yet.
@@iamflat You'll do fine with the 4L30E, if you keep it maintained. The biggest issue with GMs automatics is that they don't tolerate neglect as well as others. Given that 90% of the population neglects their transmissions, you end up with problems. Do real services at the recommended intervals, with new filters (not just a fluid change). Also, be sure to wipe the magnet in the pan, each time. If you're not having problems with it now, you shouldn't have any for a long time...as long as you keep it maintained.
A friend of mine got one of these in high school, she was so excited to have an SUV to drive everyone around in, but after experiencing the rear leg room one time, we all collectivity agreed to take a different friend's Altima nearly everywhere because it was so much more comfortable in back.
My mom used to have a Grand Cherokee of the same year but it had a Hemi in it. It was super slow unless you used the "resume/acceleration" button of the cruise control. If you did that, that shit would take off and rev higher than if you just floored it. She would win races by using cruise control 😅
@@Henchman1977 idk, I was young at the time so my mom wouldn't let me work on it. But she was pretty strict about taking it to the dealership, so I feel like if there was that much of a problem they would have caught it. If you floored it, it would downshift and hit like 4000 and almost go to 5000 before shifting. But when you used cruise, that shit would start at like 5000 and almost go to 6000 it was a very noticeable difference 😅
Yeah those mid 00s have torque management to save wear on the transmissions but cruise control ignores torque management for some reason. I guess it saves gas somehow.
Yes! 100% agree on the A-pillar blindspot, I just got rid of my Laredo and that was very noticeable! At 4-way stops, you literally could not see a vehicle stopped at the intersection to your right. It's in the perfect spot to completely obscure a vehicle to your right at an intersection! Had a few close calls at intersections because of this! A very dangerous flaw!
Sounds like you need to adjust your seat position. I never have that problem in mine. Then again, maybe it's just relative to the Camaro I drive as well which has more blind spots than Ray Charles
There’s something I love about hearing from a car owner who has owned the car for a long time, and they just absolutely roast it and talk about it like a piece of crap. And yet, they’ve kept it for years and years. Very entertaining
The phrase I find everything likeable, it gives me a feeling of you Roman trying to see and finding positive things in everything and everyone. Search of the Insufferable -- I guess its my pitch or some sort of " segment name "
Sure, but we need honest voices to keep people from buying garbage cars at for full MSRP, causing themselves pain. Optimism and buyer ignorance is why some new cars drive like crap and get away with it
@@nathanchildress5596 oh its absolutely alright to have good opinions and be negative about stuff that sucks, but its just so refreshing since internet is way easy to fall into loop of constant negativity and to see it from a person's point of view that is positive and finding something negative about it means you really fucked something up.
I can't get past looking at cars negatively if it's not a Toyota. I want reliability. My dad's Volvo traumatized me watching it break down all the time. I will appreciate so much about a car. But will say don't buy it because it's too expensive to maintain. Even if it's reliable if you do maintenance. If basic maintenance is expensive. It's a pos to me.
That era of Chrysler products were random parts bin mashed up to make a car. The same key fob can be used on a Grand Caravan and a Mercedes E Class window switches are universal in all trucks SUVs vans and some fancier cars the first gen Maserati's under Chrysler Fiat has the same climate controls and window switches as a base model Jeep Ram and Caravans.
If you spent the money and got the VES entertainment system, it was the exact same as the system out of the Grand Caravans and Town and Country's. On the upside, when the remote and headphones get lost, they are still pretty easy to find.
It’s still the same. The JK Wranglers use a ton of parts from other vehicles. AMC did it worse with parts from other manufacturers in their vehicles. GM ignitions, etc.
These were all the rage back in 05. They were cool and looked expensive, but they faded away rather quickly to the point you don’t even notice them anymore.
I owned this car after my father. Boy howdy was it slow. Dead nuts reliable though. Has the Mercedes 5 speed which was worry free compared to previous grands with Chrysler transmissions. We used to use it to tow double jet skis and it was fantastic. An absolute workhorse.
Very happy to see Roman-driven content. Especially the "I don't deserve anything better than this" energy, which I can relate to. Unrelated, but as a regular user of a 2001 Grand Vitara XL-7 I think I know how this throttle response feels.
I prefer this body style to the later models. Especially the SRT Models. I had a low mileage 2006 Overland with the Hemi and I liked it a lot for what it was. A comfortable ride that handled snow no problem, with the lockers in a northern climate.
Same, the WK IIs are better cars in terms of quality however I still think these are better looking. I might just be bias towards these because I essentially grew up around these cars but they’re really not that bad. Yes you have the transfer case issues but they really aren’t as unreliable of cars as they are made out to be. In fact I’d say the WJ is the worst Grand Cherokee in terms of reliability because of how many of those cars were lemon lawed.
I have a 2006 Limited with the Hemi and I just hit 150,000 miles. Engine and transmission are fine but the interior is showing it’s age. I take of care of it, though. And it is a beast in the snow. I am trying to keep it another year or two before upgrading since the car market right now is nuts.
My 07 jgc laredo just surpassed 223K she still runs amazing love her she never left me stranded anywhere all stock no funny sounds no leaks no funny smells no explosions nada. Btw I never experienced the so called leaking batteries lol. You’re just overreacting broski she’s very reliable go ahead buy a brand new car see how much cars go for these days I love my jgc son! ❤️🔥
3:53 Damn, look at that gap between the front of the engine and the radiator. Nothing like the constant reminder that you didn't buy the Hemi version of this vehicle.
I agree with the owners statements about the A-pillars on that generation of Grand Cherokee. I had to crawl through our small town’s downtown district because I had a hard time seeing people entering the crosswalks at intersections….
This video is so painfully relatable to me. I didn't drive this specific car, but I used to drive a Durango, while not quite as weak, sad, and pointless as this, it was just awful for what I needed it to do, drive to school and work. Yes, it was great for getting through Alaskan winters, but it was way overkill for my needs, and the lumbering sluggishness festered from an annoyance, to a burning hatred as the years dragged on. I am dying for the day you review a 1st gen Durango, because it really means a lot to me, I grew up in one after all.
When I'm with my friends I always go on tangents about how bad the cars are that I work on in the shop. However it always ends up the same way. "This car sucks, but I get it."
That A pillar blind spot is quite apparent on similar year caravans. I remember double checking for pedestrians in my moms minivan, you could fit a whole family in that blind spot.
All Chrysler vehicles of this time had the same design elements. Just a byproduct of market driven designs. This was the same time as the PT Cruiser, HHR, etc.
Funny enough, I have a 2008 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. I bought for a generously low price from a family friend after I flipped my first car and it already had around 160000 miles on it. From what it looked like it only had a had a new serpentine belt. besides being ignorant about the oil level one time resulting in a cracked radiator that had to be replaced, I’ve had no majors with it. It burns a fair amount of oil but can honestly be expected at a car with its number of miles and age.I just passed 200000 miles and it’s still working pretty well
In university I did field research at the ocean and we filled one of these things to the absolute brim with fish traps and other random shit we needed for multi week camping trips. Every surface got covered in sludge and it smelled like the ocean- in a bad way. But damn, was that a fun time. At least the AC still worked.
My brother has that same exact 2008 Grand Cherokee, but in silver. He must be one of the luckiest Jeep owners to not have any major issues on it. 151K miles and still chugging along.
I drive an '06 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I bought it new and have well over 100k miles on it (maybe 120k or so). I oil change it maybe 2 times per year and have abused the shit out of it over the years. She still runs great and doesn't have any major issues. (Knock on wood) she is just reliable as can be! I run a V6 in mine. It has excessive power. It can break loose on the highway, easily, and has way more than enough acceleration power for merging. It is a very fast SUV. I have no idea what these guys are talking about. It does 'want' constant input on the pedal, but it is also a heavy SUV. Lightly resting your foot on the gas is sufficient, you barely have to push it in. It has magnificent torque. I have driven over mountain ranges in the Ruby mountains with ease, driven over two dams in Southwest Texas, climbed 'The Wall' near El Paso, taken it on rock crawls without issue, hit 160mph on the highway. She is a great vehicle. Maybe something changed between my year Jeep ('06) and '08....but I know that mine is a fantastic piece of equipment.
I too have an 06 Laredo. I bought off an old lady 8 years ago for $2800. It's getting crusty underneath and can't say it never let me down but it's been pretty damn good overall, considering the money invested and the beatings it receives. Works great in the snow. Budget 3" lift, 32s and wheel spacers gives it enough capability to go almost anywhere.
Mr Regular makes *iconic* car reviews, dancing between fever dream and high art. But Roman? Roman's videos punch *way high* and make contact **every single time**. Two sides to a coin that comes out with you beating the house with every single flip.
That throttle response is probably better than my car: a base model '01 Volvo V70. I floor it with passengers in places no one ever should floor their car, then look at their faces in the mirror before announcing that all that noise over nearly ten seconds has gotten us to 40 mph.
I have one with the 3.0 Mercedes diesel. It would pull great with this engine. I liked it. I hit a speed bump one day and lost all the electrical accessories in the cabin. It will always start but without electric windows, fan/A/C it effectively scrapped it.
Did, made no difference. I don't live in the states. There is no Jeep dealers or an abundance of Mopar parts in my country. Most of the cars from this generation where all imported at the same time, so there isn't many of them and because your using second hand parts, stripped from the limited pool of imported cars of a few years. You can replace it, but your just hoping that the replacement part isn't faulty. It wouldn't pass yearly inspection in it's condition and I could not insure it without it passing. So I had to buy something else.
Bought a 2008 GC Limited 5.7L 4X4 new in 2008. Still own it. Nothing but regular maintenance and wear items. Still runs and drives like new. No complaints at all.
I drove a 2007 for a long time. For the last couple years it would overheat basically as soon as I turned it on. Made a habit of not taking highways so I could pull over, turn the car off and let her cool down. Amazing car I miss it
Preach. I had a 2010 with the 5.7 and that thing would scoot. It was also rated to tow 7200 pounds and had Quadra-Drive II with low range 4x4. It was surprisingly reliable over 10 years of ownership. Fit and finish was terrible, visibility was awful, and it was thirsty as hell. I still kind of miss it.
@@dikkem8193 never had any big issues with my 06’ grand Cherokee, my only gripe was how expensive good parts are, cv axles from mopar were like 500 a piece
My sister has an 08 limited with the 4.7. Got it with 53k on it and it’s got 80 on it now, only thing I’ve had to do on it is an alternator and the latch for the trunk. My dad used to drive that instead of his truck for road trips. Cheap, yes. But relatable? Definitely
To be fair, my 08 Grand Cherokee which minus the color is almost identical to this and has a quarter million miles. Its had just basic maintenance, minor repairs and it just keeps going...
That's the reason why we keep this one around as a third vehicle. That and the fact that when I look at it, I realize how much of our family's life happened with this thing. It went to college twice (two kids) and came back. Pretty sure there are some stories there that she's gonna keep for herself. Long may they run.
iv had a 2005 and 2009 both the 4.7 . The 4.7 and 5.7 versions are night and day from the V6. The 4.7 is a perfectly mated engine on the WK. I have never noticed the "Blind Spot" issue The bulb issue with the HVAC is absolutely no different then every other car of the same years. No Manufacturer is using little bulbs like in the 80s.
This review cracks me up. Guy has the cheapest version of these GCs then complains it’s cheap. Best part is that it’s still running fine 12 years later.
Roman: *Keeps trying to praise the car.* Mike: “No. Listen to me. This Jeep is a terrible shitbox that I will never get rid of. One of us will die first.”
Love me a Roman episode. Its why I listened to all the RCR stories, even though they were DC animated film long. Its like hearing a breeze after the storm that is Mr. Regular. I appreciate them both. Hearing him doing the Mr. Regular voice when talking about the rear window validates my suspicions. Inside we all have to fight to keep down that voice when we talk about cars 😂
the 3.7 was a dog, but it was reliable for me and the interior held up well in mine. Sold it with 186k miles on it in 2018. The QuadraDrive I (not II) was a sham - but it did get me out of some snowy conditions where others were stuck.
It's called a Grand Cherokee WK. They come in Laredo, Limited or Overland trim. And yea the 3.7 v6 is slow, but you could get it with a 4.7 v8, 5.7 hemi or the best imo a 3.0 diesel Mercedes engine/tranny combo. In limited(middle) trim it has a v8, low range, quadraDrive with auto front and rear lockers, a rear solid axle for off road articulation. Very capable Jeep, with cheap interiors
Really not sure if all models are different from 2008 but I just got my jeep 08 jeep LaredoV6 and I have had no issue. Halloween day we had a terrible snow storm in Michigan worst ever according to, well everyone. Upwards for 6-12in of snow in blinding conditions, roads already icing over and It handled it like a champ. As for performance It's fine. Nothing too crazy being a 3.7L V6 but it get's the job done. I'm not a car guy per say so if I'm clearly missing something or everyone's issue are simply personal I'd love to know.
Dumb is that I have a 2008 and it goes 4 wheeling and doesn't break down. It tows my 5000# sailboat and the body is still solid and clean at 415k on the odometer. I am 6.2 tall and comfortable. My 3.0 turbo diesel has get up and go and the interior is still supper clean. I think you are a mor on with this review.
We have a 2008 grand cherokee with the 3.0 diesel. It has lots of torque and we use to take it on so many road trips. We drove it from Alberta to California and back. I've always really liked the look of it.
I love mine. I swapped the axles out to lower gears, put a tune in it, and a small lift. It gets great mileage, tows anything, and feels like a big diesel truck to drive.
There is a very wide gulf of capability with the WK depending on which options you selected. You reviewed the lowest spec. Doesn't excuse the cheapness, but as an SUV with the right options, it was a very off road capable vehicle.
This episode is disconcertingly calm and polite for an RCR episode, just like those bits in Better Call Saul where something really inane was happening because a terrible event was just about to occur
Great video! It captures that era of Jeep and other Chrysler products that looked great, at times reaching excitement, until you sit inside and scratch your head at the lack of effort or anything that even remotely reached “it’s ok” as a place worth spending time compared to competitors. Ah, “Chrysler cheap”.
I have been around for quite a while, pushing 80. I can tell you that "Chrysler Products" have S**T build quality since the late '50s and it hasn't improved much in 2023, no matter who owns the company. Maybe the Hyundai/Kia Group will take over the reigns! lol
I’ve owned a ‘97 Grand Cherokee with the 6-cylinder and now own an ‘05 grand Cherokee with the 5.7. The 5.7 really makes this jeep awesome with a lift and tune.
The '05 came with a trans dipstick, but the transmissions are very sensitive to overfilling so they stopped including it to try and keep people from servicing it themselves. I had a very similar one, gutless and reliable.
Drive a HEMI or at least a 4.7 V8 WK and get back to me. Of COURSE the base model V6 is slow. For everyone ragging on Jeep's perception of quality at this time, this is a really nice example that survived. Show me a.... A 2008 TRAILBLAZER in similar condition. They were equally crap or worse.
My brother in law’s dad is a die-hard Jeep Grand Cherokee guy. He is a salesman in Prince Edward Island, Canada and racks up about 40,000km a year (25,000 miles). He’s had a 1999 Limited, a 2007 Laredo, a 2014 Limited, and now, a 2021 Limited. He’s had a ton of problems. I asked him once, “Frank, why do you keep buying these Jeeps with all their problems?”. His reaction: I don’t care. My dealer looks after me. I get a loaner car when it’s in for service. And I love how they drive, how they handle, and how they are in the snow (which in PEI is 5 months a year). So, I guess if you have a good dealer who looks after you, reliability doesn’t matter.
Now since you tried with the V6 I kinda wanna see a review with one that has the 4.7 or 5.7 V8 because I have an 05 grand cherokee and it does the opposite it wants to go
These complains are spot on but despite all, I love my WK QDII Hemi! I call it my Chrysler 4runner. I wish Jeep would make something like this again... IFS with Solid rear axle... something between the wrangler and current GC in off-road capability and "niceness".
the Millersville license plate and sticker are fitting for this car. You had a choice of any PA state college to go to, and you went for the one where the only things to do in town are literally a pizza place and tobacco shop.
love hearing an underdog story on durability. My dad had a V6 Accord from '04 that were said to have auto trans problems. His didn't, but actually the engine did. Straight up grenaded at roughly 120k and got a reman engine. No one knows what happened or why he did the maintenance including timing belt at 100k. But muh rEliAblE HonDa.
Loved my WK Laredo. Bought it used for 9.5k in 2012. Finally replaced it. Here is the key: you must get one with the V8 AND the low range transfer case. Mine also had the trail rated badge and tow package of 7500lbs. You got the WORST one. QD was awesome in the slippery shit. Even in foot deep slippery snow mine just tanked through everything up the hills here
I got so immediately defensive at the college relationship after the trauma bonding wears off analogy😂😂😂😂 Good God I've never felt so attacked in my life
I agree. And I own this body style of grand cherokee....but with the V8 and 4lo I'd have to say I feel it lives up to the grand cherokee name and pedigree
I had a 2008 Grand Cherokee.....BUT....mine was the CRD turbo diesel which I promptly tuned. It made gobs of torque and good power too. The Mercedes 3.0L CRD was a great motor.
This… This video is the most of a call back to original RCR, brutal honesty, Mr. Regular going off on tangents when the content being filmed gets boring, and included bloopers of equipment failures. I honestly thought that the original ideas for RCR was to find the worst of cars, so this fits right in. Hope there’s more of these to come.
The SRT and Diesel versions of this jeep are pretty sweet, but the regular one is boring as f. And I think you're remembering the first gen grand cherokee a little too fondly, my brother has a 94 as a winter beater, I drove it a few weeks back while I was waiting for parts for my truck, the first gen grand cherokees are/ were garbage too. Gutless, poor build quality, all the same issues.
The only thing the WK Grand Cherokee has in common with more desirable SUVs was that platform development was shared between the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class (X164) and ML-Class (W164).

On this god forsaken, septic tank, slop pit, cum rag of a site
Even funnier is that this Jeep is kept in better condition, is certainly cleaner, than the Ferrari was. An amusing contrast between a legendary vehicle meant to be garaged and driven on summer weekends being used as a daily beater, versus a vehicle meant to be thrown away maintained in spotless condition.
The only (admittedly metaphorical) whiplash that I like.
Pole barn garage is the best car channel on youtube, Mr regular is in the top 50 of normie car channels for sure though.
I can’t get over the fact that they had the place to put a transmission dipstick and then just….didn’t.
Just like a 62TE in a dodge grand caravan
i wonder, if they just ran out at the factory?
Because Mercedes-Benz and Diamler.
A lot of manufacturers have done this.
This is a mercedes thing, even Chrysler wasn't that cheap...until they were
I almost had to buy one of these when I hydroplaned my car coming home from college.
RCR and automotive RUclips in general needs more Isuzu love.

So it's so bad it makes an Altima look good.

My mom used to have a Grand Cherokee of the same year but it had a Hemi in it. It was super slow unless you used the "resume/acceleration" button of the cruise control. If you did that, that shit would take off and rev higher than if you just floored it. She would win races by using cruise control 😅
I wonder if there was actually a problem with the throttle pedal.

No one actually analyzing an Altima would be able to say its a bad car. Not a single generation
2009-2016 CVTs were weak from the factory, that's about it. Engines are near bulletproof.
That "usable" sticker on the battery might be the most half-hearted label I've ever seen on anything.
If they made a car it would be called "the driveable"
I want “usable” tattooed on my lower back
Its "acceptable"
"The Usable" looks like something you'd see on a generic video game asset
I’ve almost ran over a few families myself at 4 way stops and parking lots but I never did hahahaaa love my jgc!
It's part of the family - in a "drunk uncle" kind of way
If I had to guess, it probably feels good to not have a car payment.
The phrase I find everything likeable, it gives me a feeling of you Roman trying to see and finding positive things in everything and everyone. @@nathanchildress5596 oh its absolutely alright to have good opinions and be negative about stuff that sucks, but its just so refreshing since internet is way easy to fall into loop of constant negativity and to see it from a person's point of view that is positive and finding something negative about it means you really fucked something up.
And for that I commend him, it's a good quality to have especially when things are actually not great
I can't get past looking at cars negatively if it's not a Toyota.
This era of Chrysler dominates any pick and pull you'll go to. Last time I went to mine I counted 17 PT Cruisers without even trying.
1st gen jeep Liberty and 02 xl7 owner here. Pain.
I would probably pass out trying to drive one of these. EVs have broken my standards of throttle response
Oh God trying to merge into a parkway from a stop in my dad's 06 Grand Vitara was a nightmare
Mopar mo'problems
I have a 2006 Limited with the Hemi and I just hit 150,000 miles. Engine and transmission are fine but the interior is showing it’s age. I take of care of it, though. And it is a beast in the snow. I am trying to keep it another year or two before upgrading since the car market right now is nuts.

Lol i had the exact same situation - then i sold it to my dad and bought a Dart.

That A pillar blind spot is quite apparent on similar year caravans. I remember double checking for pedestrians in my moms minivan, you could fit a whole family in that blind spot.
True story
All Chrysler vehicles of this time had the same design elements. Just a byproduct of market driven designs. This was the same time as the PT Cruiser, HHR, etc.
I got into the habbit of looking around it when turning. Sooooo many times had one in the moving blind spot....
OUCH!

@@engrxtnany tips for its longevity i have a 2010 that just hit 190k

Turbodiesel and RWD was a lot of fun on dirt backroads
Did, made no difference. I don't live in the states. There is no Jeep dealers or an abundance of Mopar parts in my country. Most of the cars from this generation where all imported at the same time, so there isn't many of them and because your using second hand parts, stripped from the limited pool of imported cars of a few years. You can replace it, but your just hoping that the replacement part isn't faulty. It wouldn't pass yearly inspection in it's condition and I could not insure it without it passing. So I had to buy something else.

In limited(middle) trim it has a v8, low range, quadraDrive with auto front and rear lockers, a rear solid axle for off road articulation. Very capable Jeep, with cheap interiors

Exactly. Add in the owner complains about it then later says he has no car repair skills. You’re the reason why they stopped including them. Lol.

As a W164 owner, that explains a lot. A whooole lot.
