He may not of got that perfect 300 but on that day he became one of the most famous bowlers that ever lived and that is what’s important! PDW fan for life!
Aaaargh, just grabbed it a bit, just to show that he's human! And at the end, while the audience is going wild, he's pointing to his opponent who still has to finish, so the audience can be quiet. Class act Pete, with all his flaws.
I don't even watch bowling, but even I know that Pete was the guy that screamed at an imaginary "crowd" member because they were "moving". 😂 Dude was screaming after every throw but never said who he was talking to. I'm convinced he was literally yelling at a ghost. 😂
I've been doing some research and I believe this is the first time Pete wore his sunglasses during an indoor televised match. The only previous time he had worn them was during an outdoor event at The Villages about 7 months prior to this match.
An interesting aspect to Weber's 299 game, is the fact he used 2 different balls. That would've been a 1st, and a pretty tough nut to repeat. Shooting a trey with different balls.
That place would've exploded if Pete shot 300. That would've been so great to see. I love the fire he has every time he bowls. There will never be another
Got a little soft with it which is weird cause normally in situations like that with all the adrenaline going if you miss it's usually cause you were too amped and threw it too hard.
not really--he short armed it thereby pulling it i could tell 1/2 way down the lane it wasnt going to be a strike not to be mean but that's called choking
@@Brickbuilder128 yea, classic high-4. I hate that since it's a good shot otherwise. Ring-10's and high-4's are the most common misses for me when I am throwing it good.
He’s a great bowler but, I have NEVER LIKED HIM! Why? I much prefer an athlete who is Great and HUMBLE AT THE SAME TIME! I haven’t and never will like people with OVERINFLATED EGOS! An example of a Great and Humble athlete is HANK AARON! The man is still the Home Run King in my book because he never took Steroids like Barry Bonds! Aside from that, Hank ALWAYS displayed his Humble nature every time he talked to someone! He let others talk about his accomplishments! The same can be said of Barry Sanders! He Hated Awards and was almost embarrassed when he had to receive another accolade based on his performance! These are two Incredible Athletes that I truly admire and respect! Pete Weber, NOT SO MUCH! I just can’t Respect someone who acts like a JERK more often than not! Sorry if the TRUTH HURTS!
Announcer at the end: "I don't know if it can get much better than that."
Well, yeah, it can get one pin better. He knows this.
He may not of got that perfect 300 but on that day he became one of the most famous bowlers that ever lived and that is what’s important! PDW fan for life!
Those reactions after the 9th and 10th shots were the best I think in PBA history.
They were, and that's why I'm glad I found this video.

I would never accuse Weber of being a class act. Douche-bag comes to mind, however.
Not rue. He's only a class act when he's the winner. On many occasions I've seen Pete treat his opponents TERRIBLY when he's the loser of a match.

Love him or hate him, that man Pete can bowl.
sounds like something The Dude would say
9:44 PDW's reaction was in the 2002-2005 PBA Tour intros.
Pee Weber is Magic, and hat off to Randy Peterson - a great Bowler and outstanding Commentator!

thats also how I recall it developed
The Michael Jordan of bowling 😂
Absolutely
Nah, that would be Earl Anthony
@@afridgetoofar1818100% agree 👍
When he got 9 and it cut him dead on the ground I was laughing my ass off.
These are the nicest bowling shirts yet !!
Pete was a dawg back in the day.
Pete bowled an epic game
He's certainly thrown 300s before and after. I'd feel really bad for somebody who only ever got that close.
It's a terrible feeling I promise you 😣😣 it's not as BAD as a 799 series though. I've had both
I have only had the front 11 once and I managed to finish it off for a 300 I hope to get close again someday
@@gregamerson9172 299/799 in the same set would be tragic, but mistake filled
@mpup54 not in same set.
My games in 799 were 247 286 266
4-9 on 11th shot 286 4-9 on 6th shot 266. Only 700 I ever had that I was upset with
Pete has such a smooth follow thru on his throws
This hurts honestly its so close and the pin was like "f you"

Wow 😳 PDW will Get Them Pins next Time! Thanks PBA Bowling 🎳 I was entertained 🤙🏽😊🤙🏽
he never did shoot one on TV
Pba bowling Can you please do live television pba events in Rochester new york
Damn that sucks that he left a four pin his reaction woulda been price less if he had shot 300 lmao

I did that a few times never got the perfect game but the guy who ran my league for 20 years said he never saw a 354 with my handicap .a 298
he almost left a 9 pin on another shot, so I think the pins talked amongst themselves which one had enough courage to stand up
The reaction would have been as good as the “who do you think you are I am” qoute
8 perfect shots, 3 vg got pin action & the 1 bad shot was the last
Is there anyone more textbook than P Weber at delivering a bowling ball
The one thing missing is Nelson from the Simpson saying "Ha Ha!"
4:17 Spared the 2nd pin, Steve Wilson!👍🏻
9:46 Classic crotch chop
PDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the legend
Aw pete he got sooooooooooooo close
put hand in ball - GO.
love how deliberate he was here
I thought I was, but it was him
Dude is so cool.
4:45 Steve Wilson 2-8-10 split! 😂
I was at the show when it happened
13:13 Pete Weber got a 4th pin standing.
The birth of the crotch chop.
Pete Weber must be a DX fan
love PDW....sunglasses....clove....crotch chop.....ATTITUDE......GOAT!
3:54 Steve Wilson left the 2nd pin
tracy called him little peter
That's what I get out of Pete Weber, one pin short of a 300.
Is that John Goodman announcin’?
0:27 Wtf is the commentator talking about? I think he got it backwards. 😂😂😎
Pete Weber did threw a good shot in the 12th frame
It was a little high.
Chan, Doug, all you guys, he's getting better.

9:26 - 9:43 - What we all came here to see.
👌💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💯💯🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Pete Weber high fives his wife.
He's only 39 here and he looks every bit of 55.
7:06, what is this guy talkin about?
Pete throughs a weird sh!t ball that dies at the pocket.
Were as Eral Antony rolled a ball that charges the pocket.
Haha, missed it 💀
"the wives are more nervous than the bowlers" because the wives are probably gonna smacked around if the bowler loses
Haha exactly what I was thinking
Or if they are single, they’ll go home and kick the dog
이레이저 PBT
10:14 long term coke abuse ??
How to spot an active choking victim
This is a stupid sport 🙋♂️
So is the fake NFL and NBA. Many sports suck. Bowling is real though.
Better than wrasslin’ and nascar
Pete Weber was a lot like Earl Anthony ..very intense and sometimes when they lost.. they just walked away.. no interview or anything
I love watching Weber fail and/or lose
He wears sunglasses because he's hung over most of the time.
