I watched six videos around this topic in the past 24 hours, this one was the gold standard for me, so I must render my thanks and a big thumbs up for this content, very cool, and I understand it so much better now!
Thank you for explaining to me what every other video I watched couldn't. (I'm having some transmission problems and I'm tired of pushing my SUV for street cleaning)
Awesome. The best explanatory video I have seen so far on automatic transmission gears and clutches and corresponding gears the transmission is engaged.
That’s way awesome explanation. It’s really easy understanding and very helpful to understand how automatic transmission works in 10 minutes. Thank you. You are good man.
I’ve not seen a video about these as good as this one, thank you for all the effort you put in! I’m still not sure how exactly the power is transmitted through when c3/p1 is being stopped though. Autos are just magic tho
- 08:02 the c3/p1 ring gear stops moving in 3rd gear. There is a piston located by the clutches. Causing sun and planetary gears to move only instead. This will show you: ruclips.net/video/qOsr_yzFq9c/видео.html
the video is interesting. The only thing that i dont understand is this: What is the difference between C1 and C2? and are C2 and C5 the same? And what is the difference between them?(i think both C2 and C5 engage P3 ring gear because they are connected)
@@AutomotiveForBeginners You should listen to your audience bro. I'm with @manueladams5327 on this one. I watched a couple minutes and clicked off you video due to you sounding like you hate your job doing RUclips videos. As a member of the target audience, take note what draws people in to subscribe and watch more. Mundane script reading with a gun to your head is not engaging at all.
@@jeffreyharbin5211 because I'm not an animator, the business I'm in I have diversity, it's what makes your work stand out from your competitors. It's what makes you more money.
@Sinister_Reaper not everything requires diversity, the more you diversify in these subjects the less you will be a master in others, it's extremely hard to remember the exact differences between different transmissions and therefore the more you learn about a second transmission, the more you will forget about the second transmission, the quality and detail of his videos would suffer if he were to diversify a bunch, when learning, it's better to hear it from a master of whatever you're learning, rather than a jack of all trades and that's what is required if you want diversity, you can go watch someone who is a jack of all trades and you will know a little bit about everything but that's all you'll know, it's best to know everything about one thing and be a master at that than to dibble and dabble I'm everything and if you're a company, diversity is a killer sometimes, I would never buy shoes from the same company that sold me my phone, I want my shoe company to be shoe experts and my phone company to be phone experts, if I bought my phone from Nike I'm not sure it would work 🤣

Excellent! I'm glad you found this to be useful 👐
sounds depressive but the explanation is top notch
That is the kindest thing anyone has ever said to me :)
Its still complicated as hell but this is the best explanation and illustration by far. Thanks.
Agreed! Breaking it down to focus on just clutch packs makes it 10x easier to understand.

Good deal. Thanks!
I do not know if this is a explanation or a eulogy..Surely they could of got someone with more life & excitement in their narration...
Surely, if the opportunity arises, I'll hold an audition for you.
People talk too easy.

Tanks
Who controls it to change gear?what is the process?
What makes Automatic car matiz not to move
Playback speed set to 1.25
Wow.
You should be my future sound editor, inshallah.
At 1.25 speed I thought for a second I was in da club.
Good work. 👍
Why they call it c1 c2 c3 and so on?
Clutch system 1,2,3 etc
@@AutomotiveForBeginners there is no clutch pedal on automatic transmission, how the clutch system operate???
Your tone is a joke
Terrible punchline. Was that a joke?
Why do you all base your animation off Allison transmission, have a little diversity
Because its a simple transmission you can understand.
where's your videos at? why don't you make them and "diversify" yourself lmao
