Currently riding the Blake Paul Verse. I have the hardest time with boots but these have been AMAZING. I’ve just ordered another pair incase they change them next season 😂
Very good holding, one you need to have in mind is weight (like 2 times heavier then my adidas daily) and how much technology you need to cover up to adjust them and get ready to ride. Also cement hold - one will love it, one not. For sure quality is superb.
I love my vans standard OGs BUT I tried on the infuse and I had this weird pressure point on the side of my ankle.. make sure to try on your boots before buying.
These seem also great for big riders as well. I am 6’3” 240lbs. I only got through 40 days on them this year but I find after 50 days most boots I’ve used for me just get wrecked, frayed and clapped out for stiffness and end up feeling to soft for me the remainder of the season. So far so good minimal wear and tear for a Bigfoot. Excited to see if they can get to 150.
Mine lasted me around 45 days. The liner broke in and the BOA guide started digging into my ankle bone so badly it was causing severe pain. I have a larger frame though, and my ankle bone sits higher than most people's.
Riding the Hi-Country & Hellbound, most comfortable boot I’ve worn. I’m glad vans makes the infuse, hi-country, and verse so you get basically the same boot with different closure system. Maybe I should get a pair of each🤭
The styling and color of the Snowsurf is sick but I ended up returning my pair for the double-BOA Szumowski Verse. Maybe I'm just old and lazy but I found dealing with the laces on the Infuse was more effort than I wanted to deal with. Coming from a pair of Burton Driver X's with Speed Zone lacing, I'm stoked on the double-Boa. Would be nice if they were a little lighter though.
I’ve been riding the infuse as my resort and backcountry boot for a season and a half. I like it. It’s heavier but not enough to prefer a different boot. If I were to move to another, it would definitely be a medium stiff boot I lace with boa on the upper ankle and a power strap. What else is comparable?
Only issue I had with these was the weight...they seem so heavy to me. They were even heavier than my K2 Ortons which at the time, I thought were about as heavy as they come. Sick looks boot and super comfortable though.
I had them the second year they were out. Very nice boot but after about 40 days they had become too soft for my liking. I had Ions previously and was looking to try something different when time came to replace them. The Infuse were a little softer than ions when new and they were sooo comfortable and warm. I like a really stiff snowboard boot but for anyone who likes a medium to medium stiff boot the Infuse is a great option if it works for your feet. The BOA to hold the heel down is really nice too. My K2 Aspects have a similar design, traditional lace with a BOA around the ankle. Super stiff and burly though. Side note, anyone hear any news about Vans Step on Boots? I heard a rumor a month or two ago but nothing since. Probably won’t happen but I’m thinking Step On Vans Verse Range and Burton Step On Split Binding would be nice. That’s the combo I’m holding out for to try Step Ons.
this is my fav boot as well but for me its gone after about 80 days (half without inserts, half with). maybe bc it breaks more gradually it might feel like its still good as you get used to it getting softer little by little. can i ride it for another 80 ? sure, the build quality is pretty good (aside from power straps separating and requiring some glue no other issues just regular wear and tear you'd expect). do i want to ride it for another 80 ? not if i can get a fresh pair.
Hello guys!! I need a bit of advice regarding this boots. I bought them this year (they felt great in the shop, best fit and great flex) I replaced the insoles for my sidas. After 13 days using them I have several problems with them and I don't know how to fix them. First of all, the boa wires bites a lot in the lateral of the boot and are making a dent in the arness and I can feel that in my ankle specially the lower one to the point that the pain is too much. Plus all of that the lower wire digs too much in my ankle (just where we can flex it). Any ideas why is happening that (besides tighting the boa too much) because I think that shouldn't happen in a boot like this. I guess I have to customize the boot but I don't know where to start tbh. Thank you!
I tried the infuse and Hell Bound and unfortunately they gave me severe pressure points on the top of my ankle. Sucks I wanted to like them... Went with salomon
Guys - Weird question but any advice for a boot for someone with huge calves and smaller feet? There is always a lift issue because the calve area is tight but below it isn't locked in....
Get a boot that separates the upper and lower laces/boas. This isn't even just a problem for calf/feet size, plenty of people like tight in the shins and loose in the feet or vice-versa. So there's boots out there that will give you those options. I can't quote any off the top of my head unfortunately but just take note of it while shopping around and you'll find some pairs that should suit your needs.
I don’t think any boot I’ve ever owned has my foot really locked in to the heel. Dc, 32, burton, vans. Even in the proper size no matter how tight. Leaning in to my toe edge I never have issues, maybe at really slow speeds I’ll feel my heel lift a tiny bit in the boot
Try some womens models. They came recommended while I was looking for something narrower, Nidecker Kita-W almost did it BUT was too wide at top for me cuz apparently ladies got lower wider calves. So very possible some ladies’ options might just do ya right…
Sorry, vans boots are ridiculous heavy using archaic construction compared to everyone else...causes way more fatigue, but durable lol. Proven fact every pound of weight of footwear = 5 pounds of pressure on your back...Glad Union is bringing innovation and modern boot design next year,
Least Durable Snowboard boot I ever owned! I didnt even get 2 seasons out of mine before the boa broke, the liner cinch ripped out of the inside of the boot, and the sole started separating. garbage boots. youre better off buying boots for half the price cause they'll last just as long
Currently riding the Blake Paul Verse. I have the hardest time with boots but these have been AMAZING. I’ve just ordered another pair incase they change them next season 😂
Same. I got the Parker Verses as backup.
I hate my impossible size 12.5 EEE feet. I envy all of you who have actual boot choice
i’m riding the same boot and i love them, also have added the stiffeners yet, a little bulky but not a problem

Had the same issue. Had to send mine back.
They fit narrower, wider, or right in the middle…?

BOAs can pop back in? Mind blown!!!

Interested to hear what you guys think of the 32 laced double boas

This boots break down fast. All my friends riding them, broke them down in one season

K2 Traxis, maybe Ride Insano? I have the opposite problem and can’t get the calve tight without mods.

i blew my ankle and tibia out on a pair of vans and have been scared to try them again
Is that because of the boots?
my infuse are still perfect but too soft now

We can attest to that , the union boot is going to be amazing
is union going to make boots next season?
@@yiqiao7513 Oh yeah, Made in Italy. will be a lil pricey

Damn, sounds like we’ve had completely different experiences
An f bomb 😱
