Awesome video! I am really stoked for the hack smith multi tool, it looks like an awesome product and I hope it helps provide a solid revenue source (I will buy one). Also, the robo dog with the mini gun mounted on top is a bit unnerving… and dystopian 😅
Honestly, I think traditional deterrents like privacy fences, flood lights, smart cameras, and gates go a lot further than automated drones like that. The goal is usually to make it more effort to get inside than it's worth because anyone can get inside most places if they want to bad enough. If you were really overkill, you could install ground sensors like some places do. And for the most part, I don't think the drone is any better than a good security camera setup. Although Darrel had way more knowledge here, I don't think he stood a chance at beating them. He was very careful, but it's clearly been very well thought out. It's awesome to see how far these systems have came in recent years. On another note, I do have a question about the smith blade. Is there a version that has a 3 inch (or under) blade? It looks really useful, and I'd definitely get it for projects around the house, but I am just a little concerned about possible limitations outside the house.
The one issue with this test, is that active monitoring is only so effective because a security guard could go months or years without any sort of intrusion, so if the automatic stuff didn't pick up to alert the guard, then a lot of those "I caught you 10 times" might have been missed if the security guard is not as actively monitoring out of boredom. Granted the dumb security components would still have functioned.
