When he plays lower rated, he always go for simpler strategies so the opponent have a chance to retaliate, and gives nice comments even though opponent blunders a move. You can't hate this man

    • @zhugezhouliangyu509

I found that too, Magz has tendency to go easy n simpler vs below 2000 which are practically a joke in his level. He doesn't get any excitement if he get straightforward crushing opponents, so instead he will start to more talking n explaining like a good teacher or coach. By doing that he himself will benefit for reviewing some theories or tactics or sort of organizing his thought for future inspiration. He fully know if he just 15-20 moves end the game fast, he will not benefiting anyone here; while vs moderate high rated opponents, say strong IM-weak GM level, he try to get silly/experimental opening to handicap himself so he can practices his defend tenacity/resourcefulness. Lasty, vs strong GM that he know is very strong, 2600-2700 level, he will play more normal with no silly opening, but may apply slightly inferior setup to benefit him too as practices

How difficult is it to write "Want to" instead of "Wanna?" Or even better, "Would you like to?" I mean, come on guys, a little effort here.

I wish he could take a bit of time to draw out or highlight his thoughts as moves, but I am a noob who doesn't matter.

He's done as much as he could so intermediates could understand because it's only a 3 mins blitz game. I'm sure he would've been explaining slower if he wasn't restricted for time.
