  • My mom wanted fresh chicken eggs, so I told her if she raised them while they were young I’d build a chicken coop. This video will take you along the construction process. Thanks to Tap and Dane for all the help and special thanks to my mom for watching them for 2 months.

    Im clearing off a couple acres for a pond. I also want to build a several chicken coops. This is exactly what im planning to do. I read the foxfire book about cabin building, but i would rather use power tools like this lol.

      Great way to use the surplus trees from the pond demo. Best of luck on the build! Power tools are definitely the way to go haha.

      I put up a couple plywood sheets up on the top and sloped the water away. Worked great, never leaked.

    Careful!!! I thought the same thing and lost 3 of my hens to a weasel that made it's way in through the tiniest crack

      Ya those critters are impressive that way! So far so good, they all survived the winter!

    Attempting the same thing. Think nails would work? 3 inch galvanized
