Doing the impossible in Terraria ─ killing enemies with ∞ health..? (it isn't...)

- Terraria is full of enemies: Green slimes, zombies, goblins, blue slimes, bones, and pink slimes. Enter more slimes here, if you wish. But hey, you can defeat them with your guns and stuffs. But some of the enemies cannot be defeated normally... You'd need some kind of cheats to defeat them, so you can turn golem into a complete derp!... say, there are lot of "invincible enemies", which cannot be harmed... until now.

i think it just goes by an interval of slowly going back and forth, it doesnt seem to react with position

I think what’s happening is that the ball isn’t moving in a perfect circle, so the radius keeps changing periodically around its orbit.

The reason you can't hit invulnerable enemies likely isn't because they are actually 'invulnerable'. Invulnerable really just means you've taken away it's hit box. Meaning you physically can't hit it and do damage

@@mishagaming1075 The game is programmed to show the numerical values of the vitality that the enemy has lost each time it takes damage. It's easy to understand, I don't see what the problem is

Random fact but the pillars can be damaged by queen bee before the shield is gone.

In the correct version u could actually kill the tablet with NOT THE BEES! (that means bees kill magic tablet)

You can't destroy a spining ball cuz it's filled with Infinity Rotation enrgy
Fun fact: Placing hive blocks near where the Mysterious Portals are before you summon the Old One's Army then using any bomb on them could summon bees to 'kill' them.

A while back on the Nintendo switch, I killed the eyes with the mechanical cart!
It had a chance of happening though.

My theory? The traps once were supposed to be breakable, so you could pick them and put them anywhere, just like Arrow Traps or Spikes, but It'd be op against bosses, stacking the balls into a giant, meat-crushing machine, decapitating anything with ridiculous power in it's way, thy the concept was scratched, thy we have the traps' stats today.
Mine is that you can't really make blocks move that smoothly, so they just opted for the easy way out and made them entitys, bot everything needs to be overcomplicated, ya know?

theres a lot of enemies that are invincible, martian saucer being one of them not shown in the video (excluding the guns it fires)
Theoretically, to kill an enemy with infinite health you would need to be able to have some sort of item that could do infinite damage, which would be like subtracting infinite health from the enemy. But since infinity isn’t really a number it’s unknown if the enemy would die or if it would just exist. Idk
Depends on how the immunity is achieved, some devs will just put insane regeneration on the creature, making you able to damage it, but nit able to kill it without tinkering. Some devs will just straight make it fu**ing ignore the damage type you deal, well, modt games have more than one damage type... Some devs will just not give you tools to beat the enemy making it invincible, but let's say, players are creative...

You can forcibly despawn the Blazing Wheel by building around it until the space gets too small, at which point the game will just remove it.
Just trapping it is pure satisfactory

With the Terraria Randomizer mod, it is possible to toggle the ability to kill unkillable entities. With that, I noticed that Player Ghosts (The ghost that flies away when you die) are also a normally unkillable entity that can be killed if given the means to do so.
Amazing how adaptive terraria's codebase is!

You forgot one: *Martian Saucer.* The Martian UFO has 6 parts: the 2 turrets, the 2 laser cannons, the body and the core. On Classic mode, it’s like the Dutchman, it goes down when all 4 of its weapons are destroyed. On Expert and Master, there’s the 2nd phase where it constantly dashes above you with the death ray. The core is always connected to the body, and only the core is vulnerable in phase 2, while the body is always invincible. BUT: What happens if you kill off the body without killing the core? Well... it actually breaks the whole thing and prevents the core from dying on Classic mode or entering phase 2 on Expert and Master. Even after all 4 weapons are taken out, the core stays in phase 1 and cannot be damaged. The only way to kill the core at that point is to butcher it. I’ve seen this happen in the past on my favorite multiplayer server, when the body sprite sometimes failed to spawn with all the other parts. This was eventually fixed for good at some point. But if you’re on tModLoader in single player and you use one of the mods in this video to butcher the body without doing the same for the core, then I’d expect the same result.

I was so confused when I saw Spike Ball for the first time. I thought it was some kind of trap, but on map it was shown as enemy.
