Ngl, dying to the moonlord but at the same time, killing it is the most epic way to die in Hardcore mode. Re-logic should add an Easter egg where if that were to happen, the npcs will visit your grave instead of you showing up infront of them and them cheering for you.

Good way to put it.
I don't think we can be considered nice people in terraria, because you who let go of this evil, you who killed the wall of flesh and you let go of evil (and on top of that, you killed the guide, a "person" who has been with you since the beginning of the game)
@@xzboo801 True true but what if you let the evil "go out" because if you don't it may be something more evolved and harder to contain. And with the case of moon lord maybe you fought him pre-maturely instead of fighting him in his true form!

That extractinator myth is really interesting, because when I used to play the console version it sped up when I put the architect gizmo pack on. Puting on the pack also made the silt stop being removed from my hotbar
Yeah i was about to say i set controller up and came back later and had like 1000 of every gem it was a great money maker

Myth: Two holiday events can be active at once. Since the christmas event is on right now, it should be able to be tested simply by going through the pumpkin moon.
No matter the time of year the pumpkin and frost moon can always be active. They are more of a wave defense battle than an event
@@baileycole2291 they’re talking about the Christmas event and Halloween event, since the Christmas event is active rn, and the Halloween event can be activated after defeating a pumpkin moon
It wouldn't work. I beat the pumpkin moon 2 days ago and it sets your day to halloween, meaning that christmas stuff gets swapped out for halloween stuff.
On mobile it works totally fine
@@kulicee2341 That's the Pumpkin Moon event, not the Halloween Event. Holiday events are tied to the date. No Christmases in July any time soon
Oh my god, they should make an end credit scene where all the NPCs salute or make a unique appreciation for each NPC that fit with their personalities to a statue of you (eg. The Pirate Captain will shoot cannonballs in the background while pouring out ale to your statue) if you perma-die defeating the Moon Lord.
That would be so awesome though
Myth taken from “ilikemetroidvanias” from the last episode, having an effect that changes your eyes, like being blinded or being at low health, will carry over to the credits
8:55 this is definetly cool, to reach Moon Lord for the first time in hardcore mode, beat him but still die, but at least having the confirmation that you still did it at the very end
5:07 pretty sure the vampire knives have damage falloff after a certain distance so thats why it did 1 damage
@Daegon that is incorrect a few moments later in the video he opens his inventory, at that time you will see he is not wearing any armor

the reason i messed up is because at 5:17 when they open their inventory there on not wearing armor
Myth: Using a King or Queen statue out of bounds will teleport the npc out of bounds
WHAT??? THESE STATUES HAVE A FUNCTION?

if t-edit placed statues work it works fine. npcs can get out of bounds.

The rain will just stop after killing the king.

Hey, I have a very powerful recommendation for you. TerrariaTweaker gives you the ability to modify enemies, tools, accessories, etc. as well as spawn any npc in any number (below the entity cap).

Myth: striking a target dummy can activate the “holy protection” buff from the hollowed set bonus.
I'm pretty sure they can.

Hitting target dummies doesn't activate anything for anything, lile the holy protection, pumpkins from the horsemans blade, influx waver, etc

That's actually a good myth
It cant be sone though. Tmodloader is only for 1.3 ans i think blood moon fishing mobs run away after daylight

@@luckyboi5938 i dont think that works either. I once farmed cripplers with a statue ans it didnt gave me an item. Thats probably because:
1) the items have so low change of dropping.
2) they were spawned from a statue.
You don't get items from statues they did that so people dont farm rare equipment very early in the game and sell it for ridiculous amounts of money

Myth: Hardmode ores can override prehardmode ores such as Gold Ore when smashing demon altars.
The can’t when smashing altars, but if you mean on a metal detector, they do overwrite the Pre-Hardmode ores such as gold.

Myth: if you die in hardcore while fighting wof the boss will still drag you even your rip
@Daegon could test in multiplayer, i dont think wof despawns after a player dies if there are more than 1 fighting it

Myth: you can summon a boss while waiting the minute for moon lord but when he spawns you can no longer summon a boss (don’t try the empress because she might spawn since you are killing the thing not using a item
You can do this but I wouldn't recommend it!

Myth: something I heard about and still believe is that Dungeon Color correlates to which side the Hallow and Corruption/Crimson spawn in hardmode. The wiki doesn’t say anything about it so I want to know for sure
Myth: you can have several guides but when you summon the wall of flesh, only one dies.
Myth: You heal 10 times more with the vampire knives if you hit a crawltipede
Myth: biome mimics will reflect environmental projectiles.
For the machette, any Terraria projectile despawns after a minute. It's not a matter of off-screen, just that going to hell takes less than a minute, but going to hell then back takes more than a minute, so it despawns
That fish bowl and breathing reed would make a fun challenge video actually

Myth: if you grapple then portal gun away you will keep going to you reach the end of your grapple
At the hardcore fight against the Moon Lord, when it shows the player it just should’ve shown a grave.
Myth: The nurse can heal the webbed debuff inflicted by the Hardmode black recluse.
Myth: you can dogge the dungeon guardian with the hook of dissonance.
Myth: if you outrun your Grappling Hook it will disappear after some time
I've tested it and if u grapple on one side of the world like at the end and set a spawn point on the other side and magic mirror u just keep going till u reach ur original grapple hook
It reels back to you, no matter how fast you go :/
Obi-Wan Kenobi I've been able to outrun a hook for a bit using witches broom going diagonally, but I haven't seen if it can disappear like the boomerang
myth: miner potions (and miner armor) can speed up the drill mount obtained with all the ores bars, past moon lord i think
Theory for why the vampire knives do very little damage when reflected; since you throw them, and they heal whoever threw them, the mimics reflecting them does not change the fact that you threw them, and they still heal you. Therefore, they damage you and heal you at the same time, and the amount you get healed is subtracted from the damage. It's the most logical reason I could come up with
Myth: You can go infinitely fast using a column of water, an inner tube, and a portal Gun by placing portals at the top and bottom of the column.
I’m pretty sure you go so fast that you glitch past the top portal and any blocks above it

Yeah they do they will spawn but they will be out of bounds with the dungeon
The mimic thing was also mentioned in the wiki for the Solar Dual saber guy, as it doesn't heal when reflecting projectiles, but it does take 3x more damage from things that it can't deflect
"you could technically beat the entire game with a fishbowl on your head with the breathing reed" you should definitely give that a go sounds like it could be a fun playthrough

A wonderful use of the builders potion is that, paired with the architect gizmo pack, you can hold the place button as you walk (without Hermes boots) and your blocks place as fast as you walk.
Myth: if a guide gets killed in lava while in the WoF fight it would kill the actual WoF and spawn another one
Guide has to die in lava, and as far as i know you can't have two walls

The bloody machete didn't come back because it either despawned or didn't hit solid ground, when terrarian is far away from a point the chunk doesn't load (to prevent lag I'm pretty sure)
Also, mods do exist with Terraria patchers, and if you need something specific, you could ask to the modders, they would happily do that

I think the credits with the character made it sadder like they were all remembering the young character

You need to redo the mimic test without any armor value. Vampire knives don't return health below a certain amount of damage done, so if you're only taking 1 damage there's no chance for healing to occur.

Wait a minute. This must've changed, because I used to go through loads of silt and the architect pack absolutely worked to boost the speed.
I’ve never been this early before
When defeating WoF for the first time in the drunk seed, there will be three spreading biome strips: Crimson, Corruption,and Hallow (One of these will go straight up)
I believe this has already been done, with only the crimson and hallow spawning in two strips
As someone who mainly plays in drunk world seed on journey, it just picks a random one. And it always lands in the jungle.

Old video and I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but Builder's Potions actually did used to work with the Extractinator in 1.3. My friend and I used that trick to get the Amber Mosquito when we were trying to get all of the trophies on PS4. I'm guessing that it was unintentional and they patched it. There also used to be a glitch where you could drop an item from your inventory while fishing and it would cast another line, making fishing quests much easier because you could reel in absurd amounts of fish at one time. I don't know if that was patched or not but it used to work, at least on PS4.
Myth: Dying on Mediumcore with a vanity item on you during the credits will cause the vanity to dissapear from the part, where the player appears during the credits.
Myth: if you summon EoW and the Destroyer at the same time only one of them will spawn
Why would that be?
Just a few segments of the first will stay , but you can't spawn both at the same time even in multiplayer
@@LeapyLad Each Destroyer and EoW segment is an entitiy and the Destroyer takes up most of that limit on its own
Myth: dying in lava in hell in hardcore with a guide voodoo doll in your inventory will spawn the wall of flesh (maybe in multiplayer?)
Confirmed. If the guide voodoo doll drops from your inventory due to mediumcore or softcore drops, and another player is alive to fight the wall, it will spawn. It spawns in singleplayer as well for what seemed to be a single frame before immediately despawning.

Okay, let’s test that with another myth: if you drop silt onto the extractinator from above, it will not be extracted and will instead just create the cursed image of silt on top of an extractinator.
that's exactly how i thought the extractinator would work when i was a noob
Myth:The frost legion can place snow out of bounds.
myth: if you tap the opposite direction while dashing you turn around without loosing momentum ( works with all dashes) (also it has to be almost frame perfect)
It would be a nice touch if you were a ghost during the credits and you had a grave and it said "in memory of (player)" just in case someone dies at the end of the moon lord fight, which is probably more common than you think.
I am just gonna say I love the design of the house being lifted by chains 10/10
