i agree but this is just a dancer's life unfortunately, but thats a sacrifice us dancers are willing to take, in order to do what we love, and be successful! 😊🌻🌻🌻

Definitely focus on your health and wellbeing first. You look super stressed and tired. Also, you should eat a big breakfast before dance, and take a fruit or protein bar to eat in between classes.

Omg I know how you feel. I used to have really bad cystic acne for so long and 90% of the time I wouldn’t even want to leave my house cuz I felt so self conscious of my acne 😩 idk if this’ll help since everybody has different skin types but with 2 years of trail and error I’ve realized that my skin was breaking out because of the products I was using. Turns out my skin was too sensitive for products that contained salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide or any type of acne fighting face wash/moisturizer...Which is weird cuz they’re supposed to FIGHT acne not cause it. My skin was too sensitive for my face cleansing brush too which sucked cuz I spent so much Money on it ☹️ I stopped using those and got a simple face cleanser from La Roche posay (I got the normal to oily cleanser it’s like $15 and one bottle lasted me 6 months) and slowly but surely all my cystic acne went away. Products that contain fragrances can aggravate your skin and cause more breakouts. Try simplifying your skin care routine! Find a cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin and see how it works out.

@@Mila_2010 same honestly! I’ve gone through soooo many moisturizers that make me break out even more but if I don’t put it on my skin gets itchy and tight.
I say look for some K-beauty moisturizer, they’re more gentle on the skin than most of the moisturizer you find in the drugstore and have a lot of natural ingredients.
I’m using cerve at night and replenix acne solution in the morning. My skin Is clearing us so much. Using a cerve hydrating 50 SPF sun screen everyday.
What if someday they made poinre shoes that never die lol a miracle

My dance studio currently is open but they aren't suggesting actually taking classes right now because of the virus. I don't want to get myself or others sick either. So, I've been training at home. It's not the same without the girls! I loved seeing this though, it's nice to see someone still doing performances. ✨

I’ve got bad acne and I use Spironolactone!! It could help!! Also an IUD is a life saver!!

At my studio we just had a dance recital, it was mostly just for families to come and so we also live streamed it. We also had four shows in two days so it was a little stressful. But it all worked out, besides me almost having a panic attack during the first show, but it's fine.

Actually,2nweeks ago I did a real performance with a audience! We had four shows in three days and it was exhausting,maybe it’s just me but it was rly hard. I’m a lot younger than Kenzie and I feel like we are all different levels and yet we still have such similarities,it’s great

My studio did two live shows with audiences, and we had both shows professionally filmed so that people can buy DVD's or USB's. Also, Yess about the ballet tights thing!!! I own two pairs of ballet tights, and I've been wearing one pair all year, and only bought new ones for my end of year show at the start of this month lol. Also, I do like 1½ hours of ballet on a Thursday, so I wear my tights for like 2-3 weeks, then wash them, which probably seems gross to other people lol, but it's only around 4½ hours that I've worn them😂

In Greece theaters are closed and we are in quarantine. So no performances for us.
at my studio instead of doing our normal christmas show we just did this little show that was just the parents of each child dancing and then we would switch parents as we switched dancers for a different dance so each of the dances were like their own show. i’m also watching this video instead of doing school👍

I have been on pointe for 2 years and we are practicing turn on pointe and I can do the turn on my left like perfect. But I usually do everything on my right. Meaning my left foot is weaker than my right foot. So when I do turns on my right my left foot has to go on reléve. I have tried exercises for that foot but it is not working. I am so frustrated!!!! Please help me with tips for better turns and how to get my feet back to the same strength.☺️

We just had our RAD ballet exams. We normally have them in August but covid ruined that. I have my point assessment today and it will take until next year to get the results because everything will be closing for the holidays. I'm going into inter foundation next year and if there are any tips for going on point I would like to hear them. I have watched your vids on it and they helped alot. Thank you ☺️

So I have some serious PMS stuff. Especially after having babies (I know you ain’t there yet) haha! But as an older woman here- try taking evening primrose oil. As a supplement... I take 1 every day. Helps with pms and hormonal stuff. Taking your vitamins in general like a multi vitamin (in case you don’t take one) may help with you feeling exhausted and help with stress. Praying you get through all of this busy time! You’re doing so much for such a young person and I think you are doing amazing. Keep trying- take some deep breaths 💜 you got this!
Btw I’m 30 and still have those bad acne days. Struggle is real. I feel you! But doesn’t define who you are or your beauty! You are unique and beautiful 💜

My studio did a live performance. The audience wore masks and the group dances we had masks on, but for solos there was no mask. Everyone was socially distanced.

This year was supported to be a great year so i got en pointe and i was soo exited to do class and boom canceled everything from home its so hard i got en pinte last year but this was when i got shows k one show in december im so sad it got canceled 😣😣😣😣 well stramed its not the best first performance
when u asked what im doing in my class im not having any now because chrismas but b4 i was having them online and i am learning RAD grade 7 and next year i have intermediate but some girls are moving up to AF
luckily the theater we went to said we could have 25% capacity, so just two members could come for each student in the show.
I start pointe online next month, hopefully things will go back to normal soon but do you have any tips? You’re like exactly who I wanna be when I grow up

This is a bit unrelated to the vid but I thought I’d ask the ballet community on here, I’m going to be starting ballet (I’ve taken classes that mix it in before but never a real ballet class) in January and it is my dream to get on pointe on day, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or stories since I am starting on the later side and will be very behind :)
Just be patient and listen to you’re body! Stick with it, all the pain will be worth it!! Good luck!!!
just remember that it is going to be hard work and it will be painful, but just listen to all the signs you body tells you, tell your teacher if you have shooting sharp pains and make sure you look after your muscles bc they will be achy 💕 good luck
Sigh update if anyone cares: I’ve been rejected bc I’m too old, most places I’ve been looking at won’t take me because they don’t offer classes to older kids :,) if anyone knows any good ballet RUclipsrs to teach drop a name bc I think I’m just abt out of options now, although it is good to see the kids my age succeeding too and live vicariously thru that lmao sry I’m just being salty rn
@@ann-fu6lp I’m so sorry for you. That’s really not fair! I wish I could help you find another studio so badly! You deserve to dance! But for now I know that tiler peck on Instagram she has live streams every Tuesday and Thursday, and it’s basically just barre and centre work. She danced at American ballet theater I believe so it’s totally worth it! Good luck in the future! Don’t give up! Keep looking you’ll find a studio somewhere near!

I know its really bad but I barley ever wash my tights and i have dance 6 days a week!
I’m not an ensemble dancer but I’m auditioning in may and they go to the competitions and we go to class in person but as for special instructors and choreographers they can’t come to our studio so they do an in person virtual class sometimes if that makes sense
