Cant wait to take mine apart and see whats going on with my clutch. Jerks real bad when taking off sometimes, almost like its going on & off repeatedly for a second before going, and sometimes when clutch fully pulled while In gear it slowly moves forward. Just got the bike last year as a small project and going through lots of parts like this to make it perform and look like a new bike again.
Just bought one doing the same exact thing, let me know if ya figure it out 🤙
Hopefully this helped!
Hopefully this helped!
@@Kevin_Barricklifts I actually looked up some more things and found out that I needed my clutch lever to have a little more play before actually disengaging. I had it a tiny bit too tight and loosening it more made it perfect now. Hopefully thats what your issue is too.
Lol, just did my son’s KX125 with Tusk clutch disks backwards, also. Will rework ASAP and run them counter clockwise.
Absolutely, basically feels like a brand new clutch was installed.
Thanks for the help doing this.
Glad to help
How long that will last ? i have done mine too but on milling machine with divider head.
Mines still working, its been almost 2 years...
My 97 rm125 clutch hub/basket 30mm bolt will not come loose at all. I’ve been at it for 2 days now not trying to strip it attempting to get to my water pump seals and bearings. Any tips. As to mine is not as loose as yours was 😂
My go to is "PB Blaster Penetrant Rust Remover"
You can even get it at Walmart.... spray all around... and alot to make sure it gets in the nooks and crannys of the the threads.
Atf fluid and diesel mix is the best penetrant, you might find it easier to use a rattle gun especially on a bolt that size.
What year is this bike
2000
Bro he literally says the year in the first sentence of the video
Did it work
of course! smooth clutch release, very happy I saved on the extra $$$.
