I made one that is easier. Use only 2 balloons for floating down faster and tires on bottom. Use only the platform, 4 big balloons, thrusters and seat.
True true, suppose it depends how fast you want to fall to the ground! Il give it a try for sure!

Oh nice, il have a play around later on! Maybe il make a Hot Air Balloon V.2
