I wish I had someone like Louis as a coach in my existence. He's polite, clear and supportive. Massive kudos to both of you, thanks so much for this content ❤
Its great to see the difference in height for the Dynos. Being 6'2" myself, I tend to try to static everything, but always feel like I'm missing out since I really enjoy doing dynamic movements. These are some good tips and definitely will try some of the "try at home" stuff the next time I'm at the gym.
I’m not that good at dynamic climbing so I really needed this video! I feel like getting the hang of dynamic climbing mostly comes from the mental side of it thinking you can do the move! Thank you so much Josh, your videos are either always useful or great fun to watch! I love watching your videos so keep them coming! 😊❤️
Having seen pretty much all of Luis' previous dyno coaching videos & collabs, this one was especially helpful because it went beyond his beginner tips & gave some advice for slightly harder dynamic movement. Thank you!!
I’ve a paddle dyno project I’m working on currently and the tip about it being about the legs is amazing. Cant wait to go to the gym to try it out. Great video!
I see Louis flying up a wall -> I instinctively click👍. As always, great tips that get you inspired trying them in the next session ;) Especially nice idea was the partner challenge with certain moves 10 times in a row ;)
I think the paddle dyno in the video is good but I wish they did it on a intermediate hold that you can’t stop on. The way josh did it is more like a fast campus move with momentum: what I’m really having trouble with is when the hold is so bad it’s hard to generate swing on it. Maybe just a case of weak fingers?
for the me the fear of dynos is not fear of falling from the hight but fear of falling preventing a flash would actually be such a better climber if I did not want the send so bad each and every time but just had fun with it but even tho I know that hard to take my own advice.
The insight that Louis gains thinking about his body position while doing the moves is incredible! Very important skill to train.
It’s amazing isn’t it! 100%

He’s a great coach! Thank you 😊

Truer words have never been spoken
got a lot of insight into paddle dynos from this, it seems like you really need to treat the first dyno differently than if it was just a single dyno
Yay pleased it helped! I definitely learnt a lot from the session with Louis!

That focus on hips/lower body momentum on the paddle dyno was really helpful
I didn’t realise how important it was but it’s vital to getting over to the holds! All in the hips

Definitely I think so much of it is mental. Believe, practice and keep trying! Aw thank you 😊

He’s great isn’t he!! The partner challenge is so fun if you get the chance definitely try it 😊
Starting to work on dynos and confidence today after work. This video came at a terrific time with pointers I can use. Terrific video Josh.
Bravo Josh, never seen such a good video on Dyno moves
Thank you 😃
Can't wait to try this tomorrow at my gym!
Both entertaining and incredibly useful content, thank you! (Also being jealous of the huge and empty gym)
Thank you 😊 really pleased you found it useful!! I know we got so lucky no one was there 😊
this was a really nice fun and educational video, thanks! :)

Good with my words 😉

I think it's really just the same move but executed faster.
The point is the swing on it already generated from your body position and all you need to do is hold on for a bit while momentum works its magic
joshhhhhhhh run(dle) me over!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha huh? Pretty sure that’s illegal…

Well you can send it statically first and then work on sending it dynamically after! That's basically what they did for the purple problem.
20:00 leg swing part
what gym is this?? great video!
Flashpoint Swindon. Thanks!
The butt bongos 😂
@16:45, Louis shaking the tinkle off his leg…
I wish Louis would coach me ;;;;(
He’s a great coach!
lol I was once at the gym and i made 30+ attempts at this v5 with a dyno shuffle move i got it, and each other successive time took less tries.
Why is woody allen jumping up and down he should relax
Dynamic doesn’t mean speed climbing. Dynamic moves serve a purpose.
