In the opening round of the 2017 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, Justin Thomas got off to a hot start with four birdies in his first five holes then leveled out before ending his day with a 5-under 67.
The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide is presenting its 42nd edition this week. The last three winners - Hideki Matsuyama (2014), David Lingmerth (2015) and William McGirt (2016) - captured their first PGA TOUR victories at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
