I really value the content you have shared here. The pace is great for a beginner to Synfig (like me) and you explain everything in a nice clear and approachable way. And keep rocking that accent pride, I love it! Regards, Tim
You are awesome!!! After several frustrating, failed attempts, I finally got the bones to work properly. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of useful Synfig bone tutorials on RUclips. However, the ones that I found talk about linking any point to the skeleton (which caused everything to get distorted) rather than linking to the bones. Thank you.
:D i don't care if you pronounce skele 'n' ton, skeleton or skel 'shi**' ton. i'm glad you offer those videos for free (never look a gift horse in the mouth ). thanks a lot man
i thought i would try it out making a stick man but i coudn't figure out how to draw it on synfig. then i opened GIMP (GNU image manupilation program) and tried to drw it there but its features were worse
I am exactly following the procedure as mentioned, but after linking my layers to respective bones, when I move the bone by the blue selector, everything turns into a mess. Ideally, the respective layers should pivot around the bone origin, but they behave eratically.
Olá!, Eu também estava tendo esse problema, mas depois percebi que estava vinculando o ponto errado, antes de vincular ao osso você deve clicar no pontinho verde da camada!
Hi, I don't use affinity and I don't think there is a way to export from Affinity directly into Synfig but you can save as images and then import those images into Synfig
You can use switch layers. Have one layer with the empty hand and another one with the object in hand. You'll be able to switch between them as they are in the switch group
I tried like 11 months , but failed. Now after seing this tutorial i finally got it . your tutorial was really helpfull for me . THANX
Happy that my tutorial was able to help you :)

Is it a simple stickman?

This usually happens depending on how the folders are structured. I would have to have a look on the file to assist you.

@@YOWKhemardi Would you be willing to do a real time tutorial video on how you drew this but not timelapse? thank you!
Sometimes my bones moves more than the layer why?
I can't use it properly
It's how synfig works. A slight touch could potentially move or slide the bone out of place. :/
