Really not a big fan of Sengun at the 3rd pick here. You need that strong FT% anchor and Towns is probably one of the best bigs for guard focused builds (3 apg too). With Hali and Ball you are set until later rounds, where you want to have options to take high value guys for your build that many others avoid (low FG%, high TO guys who give you scoring, assists and threes). You can supplement with any of the decent rebounders you find in rounds 5-8 ish.
@@OldManSquad Yep, agree with the other statements. Overall IMO the team is too heavy into assists.. meaning later picks like garland and nurkic don't help the overall team as much.
I do think it's worth investing the time into better quality sooner rather than later. Still 2 months until the season, would be a great way to start this new network is with new heights.
I'm sorta thinking it's either get more content out or disappear and try to learn how to be fast with OBS studio... and I think content is going to win out
@@OldManSquad I can see why that's a hard choice. I would vote for quality over quantity, but do what you think is best for your brand. Could always meet in the middle too, spend half the time you would on content instead on learning and implementing new tricks. It sounds like you're already taking time to learn stuff from Josh, and I assume other avenues.
@@BillyGoatBaaaa Definitely. And I have a cursory understanding of OBS studio but right now I can do my prep and then once it's time to record that part might just take 40-60 mins... I'm sure I can GET to that level with new tech but the time to get there is just time I need to be spending on showing folks my new network right now... maybe I'll do it mid-season instead of after the year is over or something
Surely nice job but personally, no way I would draft LaMelo, Ingram, Nurkic, Garland, Middleton and Brogdon to same team. The whole squad injury prone.
Dan where would you take LaMelo this year? I have him in a keeper points league but my next best options are like Siakam or Vassell which are a big drop off but they have less risk
I don’t understand wanting to win assists by a hundred or so weekly. He even spoke about trading nurkic for another assist guy!!! You gotta win more categories than assists!! So this team is going to win assists. Maybe steals and threes. Ft pctg maybe. Not much chance with anything else.
I had a similar thing on the opposite side happen to me on Twitter where a user was like "YOUR TEAM IS TERRIBLE IN CATEGORY X" and I had to remind them that being 'okay' in categories still wins them 50% of the time... fantasy is a great strategy game and punting is hard
Love your work
Love that you love it! Haha

Alex kinda walked that one over to Towns, too, as you heard

I would have loved to see the whole draft board.
Have tried to show it on other shows and it's so small it's not worth it

I won't touch Middleton in any leagues. I have only rage for him
Wemby build next?
Catron is super busy but I'll do a live mock with Wemby as my starter soon
Looking forward to it your content is great@@OldManSquad

LaMelo is a late 2nd rounder in my eyes
Dan in which order would you rank these players in 9 Cat Head to head: JJJ, Ja Morant, and Desmond Bane?
Ja is more for a particular punt build, so he's hard to rank in the traditional sense. For straight 9-cat, no punts, it's JJJ then Bane then Ja.
