WoW, i loved it, don't speak's one of the most memorable songs of my childhood. When i was a child i didn't know the mean of this song, now that i do, it feels much deeper to me🥺💗
I loved how bands from before were from the ground up. How it's just ordinary people living in a basement suite, forming bands that make to signing to the record company. Reality shows like X Factor and Blank for talent ruined it all. It wasn't about getting attention, it was about reflecting upon how people feels and relating it on many levels or starting a topic and talking about it without 10K people trolling and starting dumb warfares. Even when there was warfares, there's still a level of relatability. Where's integrity in music anymore? Even now, you're not making money, but you're making greatness without the glory?? Btw, the guitar on Don't Speak is like when the guy wants to or feels like saying something but all it's left is this phrase, and though he knows it's not gonna make it any better, it's still a perspective and it's still how he feels, he's disappointed her. There's nothing he could do about it because there's no going back. And afterwards.....tearshed.
What are your thoughts on Don’t Speak?

1:56 I love Gwen!!! Her style, her brilliant way of writing a song and so much more makes me love her and I want to be like her one day.
This was one of the first songs i became obsessed with during elementary and created my first band obsession

Man I miss the original Gwen
I really thought this had to do with both her breakup and her brothers suicide. 🙁
@@squirtleturtle6256 her brother didn’t commit suicide. That was John Spence who was the original lead singer of no doubt if I recall correctly.
Great video but the narrator's voice..."don't speak" dude.
