@@tedescothetool8619 there isn’t going to be a third album. Yeah yeah zubin said “when we reach 50 mil followers”, that’s an unrealistic goal… I’m sorry but they’re not coming back
It shows you're progressing through the path of life. It can be sad but you have come so far from where you started. So even though you might be Sad/Upset because you won't be able to come back, You should smile since you're growing up, You're making people proud, You're becoming You. Whoever is reading this i just know you have come so far from where you started and that i am proud of you. :)
i love this cover with all my heart but i found a weird thing: according to the tally hallmanac, this cover was used in ep 8 season 4 of the OC, "The Earth Girls are Easy." weirdly enough, the snippet of that episode which was posted to youtube had the original The Killers version in it rather than the Tally Hall cover here. i couldn't find a recording which had the tally hall cover, so i thought it maybe went unused? but there were two (albeit old) reviews of tally hall's cover (cited by the tally hallmanac), meaning that the cover had to have been used. plus this cover is seemingly up for purchase on amazon uk, although idk if you can really still buy it. idk, i just thought the cover's absence was weird :/
even though it isn’t an official release this is probably one of their best covers imo. the added glockenspiel during the chorus works wonders god i love this band
It's the first time I've heard this song in its entirety and I can say that I'm crying a lot, all this about Joe makes me feel really bad, I still can't believe what he did, I'm crying so much 💔💔💔
I think the lyrics pretty obviously lend themselves to moving on from something that will still exist, yet one cannot be a part of anymore. That pretty much describes being a ghost, among other things.
@@NixityNulltThat, and the band no longer makes music and probably won't for a while. Everytime we listen to a song of theirs, it feels like digging up a grave to have a chat. Chonny Jash really did put that into perspective on his cover album (which is fucking awesome btw).
This is a great contrast to the original by The Killers. How it ramps up while the other stays stagnate. Both feeling appropriate for the topic at hand
I cannot say it enough, Tally Hall harmonizes perfectly.
Y'know, that explains a lot of their good songs*.
*All of them.
i think only ONE! of my friends can harmonize with me
if he cant, we are gonna sacrifice him
i listened to the original version of this song when i was in the psych ward, so hearing my favorite band cover it makes me feel a lot
Glad you’re out of the psych ward
Whoa Mind Electric reference?!??! 🤯🤯🤯
@@Pip200ne bro💀
being in a psych ward?? that’s not very funky
@@Pip200ne nah💀💀
The harmonies in this are so heavenly
Its as if tallyhall is made up of a chorus of divine entities when they sing all together
I just want this to never stop playing
as if they were made to sing together
GOD JOE’S VOCALS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL IN THIS SONG UGHHH 😭😭😭😭😭✨✨✨👅
freaky
beautiful man with a beautiful voice
the tally hall end credit song
That actually works far too well

Joe's singing feels so vulnruable in this song. It adds so much emotion and i love it
It’s so odd to hear after reading the doc..

every time i hear this song it hits me with a sea of emotions
Unironically one of the most emotional songs I've ever heard
Joe never sings softer songs except this and I know its just the same
And Hidden in the Sand
And spring and a storm for like the first minute
Coincidentally both of those have never been officially released
@@LucyWest370 this one has on music from the OC mix 6 and you can buy I know it's just the same on Bandcamp

Shortest 3 minutes ever

I have HBO, I watched the episode and the cover is there.

i think both are absolutely amazing in different ways but i totally understand how you feel!
both are great but has different emotions. The original one is more sad and has the feeling of loss but this one is much more energetic!
