I'm so glad I watched this! I have a question, I'm having an elopement marriage at a courthouse, and wanted to know, if I absolutely need assistance for this backing type? Can I pre-lace, and pull tight when I'm getting ready? Mine is a zipper, but I was thinking about changing it to the corset. Thank you.
Same! I have a few prom and formal dresses that I enjoy wearing just because (since I want more use from them beyond the events I went to with them!). At my last prom I had a dress that had this lacing, but a friend lace me in. But today I was just trying to put it on by myself, and it seems like pre-lacing it worked best, albeit awkward to tighten. And searches are no help! would love to know if there's a better way to self-lace!
Il faut arrêter les gros nœuds au niveau des fesses🫣. Finissez par un nœud de cravate (ou autre) et intégrez plutôt le ruban à l’intérieur de la robe. Vous verrez, la finition sera parfaite, pas de ruban qui pend sur l’arrière de la robe 👌
Też bym tak kcialbym mieć gorset wiązany naj mocniej nogą zaciągnięty czy nie XD i czy boli jak się wiąże gorset i czy i może stracić oddech czy na sukience XD

IMO, I prefer the look of tucked in ties at the bottom of the lacing. The bow is ok but distracting to the loveliness of the corset lacing itself.

Why not just use a zipper?
some prefer the laced back, and you can get a better fit with less sewed adjustment 😊
