@@dkhumpdy I've had Kermit for many years. It was a gift from a training course delegates. He first appeared in one of my videos over a year ago when I explained that if I'm talking to camera I it him where the camera lense is and talk to him so I know I'm looking in the right place. And Daniel Cooper said I should make him my mascot and people kept asking where he was.... so he's kinda become part of the team lol
Oh wow Tracey the new mold turned out fantastic,,,,the heart mold is beautiful,,,,well when he is done vacuuming he could come vaccume mine lol,,,,,handmade molds are beautiful even if you risk small flaws I will never buy a machine made mold from into resin I dont know about you Tracey but even if its a few month wait or more I will gladly wait my molds from them are beautiful,,,,,I love eco pour but I still want to try jesminite
Glad you like this one. I tried Jesmonite, ended up sending all I had left to Claire to use up. I prefer the modern just add water ones as I just find them easier though I know some still prefer the 2 part ones. Eco Pour is basically similar - it just has the parts that are the catalyst taken from the part 2 nd added to part 1 so all you need is water.
Wonderful tutorial covering all the elements of mold making,be it shiny molds or matt molds.Thank you so much always for sharing your experiences and knowledge with us,ms Tracey 🙏💜 .The chameleon colors were beautiful 😍😍
Love this AMAZING tutorial. I think they all turned out great. So sorry about little Kermit …I guess he got too excited & decided to make an entrance but he broke down at the end 😂. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next !!! 🩵🧸🩵🧸🩵🧸🩵🧸🩵
Have you ever thought of making a crystal back on a frog mold? That would be cool….love watching you make molds….you give us so many ideas on how to make a mold
Thank you for the idea for getting a shiny mold from a matte item. I was going to spray the resin piece, but it looks like the eco pour is a better choice. 😊❤
I just find that the gloss spray fish eyes on resin so you have to spend some time sanding the resin first - it's just my lazy streak finding an easier way by using Eco Pour lol
@miniscenesgb I agree. It just never occurred to me to start with ecopour. So much faster (and less overall work). It's definitely a case of working smarter, not harder 😁.
Cute froggies! It's also good to know there are 1:1 silicones that do cure even when uv resin is involved. I made so many failed originals because I used uv resin either for details or for over all glossing. I thought I was mixing the silicone wrong when it was the contact with the uv resin that ruined the cure... I guess it's trial and error which ones do work.
I've used loads of resins - all the quality brands work with all the quality UVs. The only time I had these go horribly wrong was when I was testing bargain products. turned out to be a false economy really
@@miniscenesgb This was before international shopping really was a thing and I had to use the few brands available in Sweden at the time. It was something to do with the type of catalyst used for the silicone and the rule I was taught was 1:1 bad, 1:need-a-masters-degree-in-math-to-calculate-properly was good...
OK that might well be a 2 part mould. They are rather a faff to make but I will definitely add a video on that to my to do list for you as it's a very good question
I find that a spray glaze, (I use DURACLEAR gloss glaze) gives the best gloss coat. Also, I think Kermit would be cute on a lily pad. What do you think? 😊
Yes most items are listed in the video descriptions - and there is also a link for my full product list in the video descriptions. if you spot any items missing from the full list please let me know
I maybe going mad then lol all I see is your Amazon wish list and the ppe and discount codes, nothing on where you buy your cups etc xx Thanks for your quick reply though

Might could soak the originals in water to get the paper off the bottoms.
Could do, good idea. But they are fine as they are, work a treat.
Do you have a Amazon product list of the things you buy?
Where do you get those little paper cups from the ones you make the silicone moulds in xx

Hey Tracey i asked before but didn't see if u responded lol I'm curious if your using some kind of AI or something to make your music fit the video?
I did reply and yes as it says in the video description my music is dome with Suno AI. I have the paid version so I own the exclusive rights to the music :)
Bonjour, dites moi pourquoi ne pas le vernir avec de la résine UV?
bonne question. Je trouve juste que je n'obtiens pas une aussi bonne finition brillante avec la résine UV :)
