- When you steer your kite to make it turn, you are essentially creating torsion in the kite. The torsion starts at the wing tip and propagates to the entire kite and Leading Edge. HTF is the result of analyzing how kites turn and using a Hybrid LE construction to create a Torsion Zone down in the Wing Tip area, made from our new FlexLite material. This allows for a much quicker response to steering input by quickly creating more torsion into the entire LE and subsequently the entire kite.
The second part of HTF is the use of our FlexLite to build SuperModel's struts, creating what we call "Flex struts" that will allow the entire canopy to twist easier.
FlexLite is made of a 150 Denier polyester yarn that is then more tightly weaved than regular Dacron material that is made out of a 300 Denier weaved polyester yarn. The thinner yarn means that when it's weaved the fiber is flatter at the microscopic level, making the material more responsive because the fibers are quicker to respond to pull and compression that happens in the material when a kite is steered.

If you try to let a kite do everything, he maybe can everything but nothing particularly good. Same for tools, bikes, Computers etc...
but I would love to test it and get convinced in the contrary. This year's design is absolutely beautiful, you guys killed it. Especially the green one - Mama Mia!!!

how good is this kite to boost?
My HTF turns really slow, slower than fone bandits and cabrinha switchbaldes of the same size by a very noticeable amount, I have the maximum bar pressure setting, is there anything I can change to make it turn faster, also running this with a dreamstick x v2
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. There is a chance that your bar is a bit out of tune and an easy fix will be to make your steering lines shorter. There's two ways to do this, one is by changing the knots inside the floater of the bar, the other option (if for example you're already on the last knot) is to put a knot in the attachment line on the kites side. So you tie a figure 8 knot between the kite and the attachment knot to make that line a little shorter and do the same on the other side of the kite. It doesn't really matter where the knot is as you won't be using it to attach the line. If the kite is flying at 12 and you pull the bar all the way in, it should be on the exact point of not flying backwards / stalling. This line pressure should make the kite steer exactly as it's intended!
on dira ce qu'on veut mais l'avenir est qd même d'alleger les kites (Allula) et sur ce point, je vois vraiment pas de nouveauté chez Reedin que d'autres (Duotone) ne proposent déja (Flex trust). D'un point de vu comm. il manque une star, une grosse pointure, un rider, une rideuse mais c'est mon avis. ...
