In 2005, I had all of the speakers replaced, in one of the speakers, by a local audio shop here in Trinidad and Tobago at a cost of USD$95 - a steal of a deal! :) After thirty-one years of heavy use, those speakers still sound great! :).

but the only problem is the voltage and wattage are different so you will need to invest in a transformer, probably not worth buying overseas. same when you bring electronics from Hong Kong to Canada, won't work. u need to change the the power supply.
That's why I enjoy living in Guangzhou. I know I can always get cheap labor here. Fixing things usually cost little to nothing. I also know if I need anything of any real quality, I can always go down there to HK where you are at. That's the great thing about Guangdong/HK. Plus, being American, HK feels a lot more like home when I go there.

I bought some micro SD cards in the Golden computer centre they turned out to be fake or faulty after 4gb started overwriting, I only order direct on Amazon now, Was it a power supply problem or the speaker foam edge with the Bose?

There are bogus replacement drivers for 901’s that will not have the response of the originals. They put thousands of hours into the design of the original drivers.

Looks like a series VI.
On older models they offer a trade in for the current model.
Bose HK only accepts trade-in if the product is still under warranty.
