- Geometry Dash moderator work continues and we get some more REALLY cool levels to send to RobTop. Honestly, there's some really impressive non-rated stuff out there and it's a pleasure to send them. There was even an amazing extreme demon in the bunch. I'll try to do this more often.

For the black hole in Macadam Quarry, just looking at it, I'm pretty sure you need to hit the orb as early as possible while there's still a platform to fall on. The orb doesn't seem to be marked as being multi-activated, so after hitting it the first time it has no effect. That first input just has to be early enough for the platform to aid the player. Admittedly a creative part, though definitely could be more obvious what to do there.

would be nice if the creator makes it so you have a orb which you can hit and it would remove a spike, that would make it more obvios to see what to do and would also look better
1:59 This was my favorite part of the livestream. EVW said he wasn’t originally gonna play this because it wasn’t sent in by Doggie. So, if Doggie told him to play it he totally would. Then Doggie appeared in the stream chat & told Eric to play it. Then he saw that & said Doggie I didn’t know you were here. I guess we’re playing Biden Circles then. I can’t believe he cut that out of the video!
13:41 You probably haven't noticed that the speed changes go to the percussion of the music, you just have to listen closely that's all.

12:26 you said there were weird speed changes that don't go with the song at all. If you listen carefully the speed changes are actually very well-timed with the snare drum in the song. I quite liked that imo. I haven't play the game in a long time so maybe I don't have the best opinion but I thought it was harsh not to feature that level. But we all have different preferences at the end of the day

Victors so far have said it's probably around SubSonic difficulty, so yeah, around ~125 on the list

EVW sent that travel level with an amazing bossfight and style without a feature and He sent the moffer level for a feature which is the same style all the way through. I think this is REALLY not fair for the creator of these levels,and that's just an example,that kind of stuff happens in all of his videos. He is just deciding stuff emotionely,and you should not do that as a mod. I actually felt bad for so many people on these videos,much love to them and much love to you Eric! I hope you see this even though you probably won't...

I don't know if you have noticed, but Eric isn't exactly a good moderator.
He's way too easy on levels and constantly sends in bad levels for star ratings and features. Because of his RUclips channel he's way too easy on levels.

The reasons for not sending high flight were a bit ridiculous
- It had more detail than a lot of modern levels do
- Transitions looked fine to me, not blind, and just fair overall
- Simply failing to realise the speed changes were synced to the claps in the song is not a valid reason against sending the level

Music sync is absolutely not a reason to leave a good looking level without a rate.

@@nerdst13 the sync in that level was super jank. There technically was sync, but it wasn’t snappy or consistent. Also, better sync makes the level more fun to play, so I agree with you on that it is important for a rate
but Geometry dash is a music game and music sunc can make gameplay much more satisfying
@Ryan Crawmer Creating gameplay is most likely the first thing people do when they make a level. If a level doesn’t have sync, then the creator either intentionally doesn’t want to include it, or they don’t realize you can press the little play button on the left side of the editor to playtest their level.
Either way, I wouldn’t find the result really enjoyable, cuz I prefer synced gameplay.

Even if the level looks rough, all hope isn't lost. The creator can spend more time polishing it and it can become a great level.
I love how he sents a featured to a very bad-looking early 2.1 level but gives a rate to a freaking cool rainbow-white level and a incredible gameplay and deco 1.0-2.1 level.
Eric is way too nice to people. Even if the level is bad he tries to give genuine feedback

Any rainbow level using Climax as the song has my attention already, spectrum cyclone being the best of course, but Interstellar entropy is a close second.

If I was good enough I'd totally beat that extreme Demon it looks really cool
at 7:35, you just need to hit the orb while your ship is still on the platform. This negates the black orb's effect later on when you need to do the straight fly right after.

For the black hole thing, you have to press the black orb while still on the platform meaning it won't push you down. It can only be triggered once if you were wondering.

With the black orb u have to hit it in a way (early) that the ship hits the ground before the straight fly so that the orb is already triggerd when the ship starts

So, every level that is rated and featured gets sent to robtop by the mods and he then confirms it for each level right? He also picks every daily and weekly level right? Never really understood it before
there are moderators in the game chosen by rob. these moderators send unrated levels to robtop where he can decide whether they get rated, featured, or epic. not all levels sent will get rated, tho

If you touch an orb, you can't touch it again, whenever it's moving for you or else. You just can't use the same orb twice.
In Macadam Quarry: Just hit the "black hole" orb to make you be pushed down to the edge of the block and you'll pass.

One thing that should be said about levels like infinite. they very well could be rated with simple/empty deco, but they should have really good music sync along with gameplay to make it more enjoyable.

The second level you looked at is using a song I just started making a level to, that song is like 2 days old so the level was probably made before the song was made which is he reason for little to no sync
