That's a caring and compassionate doctor. Why aren't there more people in the world like him. He making a difference and alot of people don't have time to sit around waiting to hear your name called.
This is the best way to serve the community I love it and I remember when I was little this was a normal way of doing so now its back thanks goodness . I just hope more will follow this methode .
What an awesome doctor I remember as a little girl doctors made house calls our family doctor at the time would especially come see my grandparents but you don't see that any more so it is good to see that there is a or some doctors that still take the time to make house calls
This should be a common way of treating patients. Sure there are risks but if properly addressing those risks it well worth it. Having doctors like him revert back to the classical house calls is life-changing for both the physician and the patient. Maybe it is a situation where the patient is ill and does not feel like traveling to the clinic or cannot travel to the clinic often having to rely on someone. Maybe it is a patient who is recovering at home and requires follow-ups.
Great work Dr. Brown! There are 4 million homebound patients in the US who have trouble accessing the healthcare system except through 911 and the emergency room. The Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) is a national non-profit organization focused on advancing home-based primary care (HBPC) to ensure that chronically ill, medically complex and homebound patients have access to high-quality care in their home. HCCI works with leading academic medical centers, health systems and industry experts to raise awareness of and advocate for expanding the HBPC model by growing the HBPC workforce through education and training and developing a research-based model for sustainable house call program implementation and growth. So awesome but how much $? It makes so much sense to have a doctor come to you. Its do awful feeling terrible and having to get dressed and wait at a doctors office around other sick germs.
For so many reasons we need more doctors like this doing house calls.

We actually went to our doctors home, where he had an office. We got to meet his whole family.
