Once more we find a reactor listening to Queen and discovering a song they recognise and realising that it was written by The band of all genres, Queen.
72, 000 in attendance , 1. 9 Billion watching from around the world 1/4 of the world at that time. Freddie performed against doctors orders with a throat infection . Live Aid made 24, million dollars for famine in Africa .
A few fun facts about Queen: * Guitarist Sir Brian May has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad). * Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management. * Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups. * Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band. * All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
20 minutes in 1985 a different queen ruled England. This is probably the greatest live performance in history. I think it was David Bowie who met them backstage and said something like “you bastards! How am I supposed to follow that??”
London's Wembley Stadium; July 13, 1985; Live Aid concert for Ethiopian Famine Relief; an audience of over 100,000 people. Although they claim the old Wembley Stadium could only hold 72,000 people, but there were over 100,000. I've been in a venue with a "standing room only" of 8,900 and we packed 11,620 in there. If you wanted to see a concert bad enough, you'd find a way to fit in (no 'social distancing' or 'personal space' back in 1985). Also, there were another 100,000 people in the United States. . Freddie said he was only about 70% vocally, but took 3-4 shots of vodka and went out on the stage, against his doctor's orders. While other bands played all their newest hits, Queen hadn't performed together for a while so they stuck with mostly stuff everyone would know. It's reported that after their performance, as Queen was leaving the stage, the next act to go on (the legendary David Bowie) supposedly said "How the f*ck am I supposed to follow that?!?!", and Sir Elton John said to Freddie, back in Freddie's dressing room, "You know you just stole the whole f*cking show!" And he did. For 20+ minutes, the UK was ruled by a different "Queen". In an interview, Freddie was once asked what was his favorite thing to play, and his reply was, "The audience, darling". And he did that... very well. . 1st song - Bohemian Rhapsody 2nd song - Radio Ga Ga (followed by Freddie and the crowd "scat" singing) 3rd song - Hammer to Fall 4th song - Crazy Little Thing Called Love 5th song - We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions . Want more Freddie? Freddie Mercury & Michael Jackson (studio cut; sadly never performed on stage as a duet): "There Must Be More To Life Than This" - ruclips.net/video/dkcdSj4qBWU/видео.html . Freddie Mercury & Monserrat Cabale (1988 Live at La Nit); Yes! Freddie does opera! : ruclips.net/video/89ax7WWPZcY/видео.html My favorite songs were "Barcelona" and "How Can I Go On". . You are in for such a treat, this set is so good! I have watched this so many times and I still love it every new time I see it. Queen has a way of making you feel like you are actually there experiencing this live. I watched this on TV the day it happened, the show went for hours and hours. Absolutely phenomenal legendary performance from Queen, Live Aid a charity concert to raise funds for at the time a serious famine in Africa, the Live Aid concert twinned with a concert in Philadelphia USA 🇺🇸, 72 thousand crowd at Wembley UK 🇬🇧 and 92 thousand at the Philadelphia concert, Live Aid televised and watched by nearly two billion viewers worldwide the first of its kind, all the best artists and musicians attended the concerts, each artist had around 20-25 minutes to perform, Queen came on the stage and with there legendary flamboyant performance stole the show from any other performers that day, Freddie had the crowds in the palm of his hand ,Queen we’re the best on the day,the concert raised in today’s value money around 350 million dollars, I have so many fond memories of that concert as I attended Live Aid in 1985 and again a concert at Wembley Stadium in 1986, also Freddie Mercurys very last live concert also in 1986 at Knebworth Park Uk 🇬🇧 where the crowd was around 140 - 150 thousand people, After Knebworth Freddie told his band members, I cannot do any more live concerts I’m done, but Freddie carried on recording in the studio with his band members until he passed away in 1991 from AIDS related illnesses, he is surely missed a absolutely amazing showman and human, great reaction thanks 🙏

The first song was Bohemian Rhapsody. It was a shortened version. Watch the entire song live at Montreal 1981 and then also watch their 1975 initial video. The thing about Queen is they are actually better LIVE than the studio version!!
True story: I was offered a ticket to Live Aid, and I turned it down because I thought the show would probably be shit. We all make mistakes, sure. But that was the biggest one I ever made in my entire life.
Your comment at the end about the whole world being there was not far off the mark. There was somewhere in excess of 72,000 at the stadium but about 1/4 of the world's population watching the concert on television.🎉
What makes Freddie Mercury a LEGEND? His voice, stage presence/best frontman ever, his charisma, and just his overall personality. Oh his very dedicated fans as well, coz I've actually seen a youtube shorts video about Freddie Mercury and BTS imitating his chant for the crowd and it was a bad imitation that people started dissing BTS coz they said it was very disrespectful to Freddie, and no matter how much insult BTS members get in the comments, you will see no BTS fan insulting Freddie coz they were also a fan of him. I mean c'mon Freddie is literally loved by everyone. BTS fans stand no chance to Freddie's fans. He was THAT loved.
Even with the skips in the video, great fun for all. NEVER gets old, this historic moment at Live Aid. No fancy lights, costumes, tricks, playback, auto tune. Four bandmates. [There was another piano player, Spike Edney, playing on "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" while Freddie was singing w/guitar - with them for years.] Pretty darn cool all these years later and forward forever. Looked at your playlist and no, did not see BOHEMIAN RAPSODY. See the ICONIC studio version from 1975...then a full live version at Montreal. Live Aid showed only a portion.
@@theneverenderreacts Not to worry - generally Queen is good with reaction videos, so know need to include if that was your thought. We know where to view online, but always fun to see someone get that thrill for the first time - which you did! Thx and enjoy!

FYI "Crazy little thing called Love" was a song Freddie wrote about Elvis (in his honor) AFTER Elvis died. He not not only never sang it, he never heard it. But one heck of a tribute!!!! And speaking of tributes, be sure to check out the tribute song the rest of the band wrote for Freddie "No one but You (Only the good die young). It was one of Deaky's last performances with Queen. And be sure to note what instrument their brilliant guitarist Sir Dr. Brian May is playing when the song starts!!!
O yessss! You make my day. Like your reactions 😊. Best performance in music history. There were bout 72000 people and they are not all Queen fans, but it was epic. Especially when all clap on Radio ga ga... More Queen please. 😊 Innuendo for example or Barcelona. Please please please 😀
This was 1985 Live Aid Concert, WORLDWIDE!! Benefit for famine relief in Africa. That part is Wembley Stadium, England, I believe about 72,000 people, Also simultaneously broadcast at other huge stadiums on other continents, plus satellite TV. Biggest ever!! And Queen stole the show! I saw it on TV and even that brought chills and thrills!! Each band had a 20 minute segment, and ALL dollars from tickets etc went to the famine relief! It was probably one of the best moments of the 20th century!
Loved your reaction... you were rocking!! I could tell you hadn't listened to Bohemian Rhapsody yet. LOL. Looking forward to seeing your reaction. I have subscribed to see your Queen reactions. There are so many fabulous videos, you'll never run out. For early Queen, I recommend Stone Cold Crazy, live at the Rainbow. Enjoy!❤
1985 Live Aid Setlist for Queen: 1. Bohemian Rhapsody (shortened version) 2. Radio Gaga 3. AYYYYOOOOO (Improv by Freddie Mercury) 4. Hammer to Fall 5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 6. We Will Rock You 7. We Are The Champions
Freddy was drinking water with honey because he had a throat infection n his doctor advised him not to do this concert but as u see they did it anyway... The song Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Freddy wrote that song in ten minutes n it was his tribute to Elvis....
How many viewers did Live Aid 1985 have? In addition to 75,000 concertgoers on site at Wembley Stadium, almost two billion people watched the spectacle on television!!!!!!
Yes, all these songs are theirs. Bohemian Rhapsody is the biggest masterpiece ever, wirtten by Freddie. It was their first top 1 hit in the UK. Radio Ga Ga is a great hit written by the drummer, Roger Taylor. Hammer To Fall is another great song by the guitarist, Brian May. Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a song by Freddie. In fact it was their first top 1 hit in the US and it was a tribute to Elvis, it was written in a bath tube in a couple of minutes. We Will Rock You is one of the most recognizable songs ever, it was written by Brian. We Are The Champions is another song everyone knows and it was written by Freddie.
Imagine moving around the stage like that with a mic connected to a cord. Back in the day we had “bands” and they were better live with the energy they brought to the stage.
1. Bohemian Rhapsody (watch official video) 2. Radio GaGa 3. Ay-Oh with audience 4. Hammer To Fall 5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 6. We Will Rock You 7. We Are The Champions
The first song was Bohemian Rhapsody a song Freddie wrote himself, and you only heard part of the song on this performance, the original version is 6 minutes long and was considered one of the best songs ever written,Checkout the original!

First song was Bohemian Rhapsody. Second one was Radio GaGa. Third one was barely a brief part of Under Pressure. Fourth one was Hammer To Fall. Fifth one was Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Sixth one was We Will Rock You, Seventh one was We Are The Champions.
The first song was *Bohemian Rhapsody * - the song that made them superstars. The 2018 movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" is fantastic, fills in some gaps and questions, and the casting was beyond incredible.

Please react to Love of My Life live in Rio. Over 220,000 people all singing to Freddie in English (non-English speaking crowd!). Beautiful song and performance!
The stadium has seating for 72,000 but with all of the people on the playing feel it had to be a LOT more than that. Freddie sounded this good after having laryngitis the week before. His doctor recommended that he cancel his appearance but he ignored the advice and went on to make rock history. The first song was Bohemian Rhapsody, probably Queen's most famous song. They did a shortened version of it and We Will Rock You so they could get as many fan favorites in as possible in the 20 minutes allotted to each performance. No beer pr anything carbonated for Freddie while performing, he didn't want to risk burping into the mic, it would be disrespectful to the audience. Easy on the "f" bombs, a lot of kids watch these videos.
Songs Performed: Beginning of Bohemian Rhapsody (original song is 7 minutes) Radio Ga-Ga Ay-Oh call and response Hammer to Fall Crazy Little Thing Called Love We Will Rock You We Are the Champions
Freddie''s crowd control level is over 9000!!!! Even Sir Elton John by remarked that Queen completely stole the entire concert. Crazy Little Thing Called Love was Freddie's homage to Elvis. Not an Elvis song, in Elvis style.
Never has there been a performance like this. 75,000 people commanded by one man in a concert watched by billions of people worldwide, all to raise money for African famine relief? This shows the true POWER of Freddie Mercury, and the influence music has on the world. If I had a time machine, this concert would be my first stop!
I have to tell you, Queen were even better when you saw them live on stage! They have given me many happy memories. I saw them about 6-7 times,in London as well as Milton Keynes Bowl.
The ultimate showman Freddie Mercury (Farouk Bulsara). I remember watching the whole concert in 1985. The 2 highlights was Phil collins playing both sides for the pond (atlantic) and Freddie. I'm Glad you have watched this as poor Freddie managed to rock Wembley Stadium and throw out a performance like that with a throat infection, he must have felt like 💩! His doctors told him not to perform, but beingnthe consumate professional that he was, he didnt want to let his fans down. I often wonder how much more he would have given us if he hadnt passed away so soon. Oh and the first song was a snipit Bohemian Rhapsody, another class production by the boys.
I wish you much success with your channel. I found you by accident and I really love you!!! I’m 57 yr old woman from the US I say that because we all need to see each other!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow!! Thank you!! Just uploaded the reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody : ruclips.net/video/WqCmP138Q3A/видео.html

The first song was Bohemian Rhapsody. It was a shortened version. Watch the entire song live at Montreal 1981 and then also watch their 1975 initial video. The thing about Queen is they are actually better LIVE than the studio version!!
WOW.!! I wil react too it soon!!. Glad you got to watch my reaction this video was sadly blocked. it should be all good now
I prefer the studio version, but both are exceptional.
Wow 🎉 beautiful sweet Freddie 🤩 liked subscribed 😁 more queen and Freddie Mercury reactions please 😍
True story: I was offered a ticket to Live Aid, and I turned it down because I thought the show would probably be shit.
We all make mistakes, sure. But that was the biggest one I ever made in my entire life.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a Queen song. It's a tribute to Elvis.
Live Aid showed only a portion.
sorry for the skips. I could post it without it
@@theneverenderreacts Not to worry - generally Queen is good with reaction videos, so know need to include if that was your thought. We know where to view online, but always fun to see someone get that thrill for the first time - which you did! Thx and enjoy!

Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing Barcelona, live at La Nit.
I will do barcelona!!!!
@@theneverenderreacts yeeeeeeey. Thank you thank you thank you 😀
I'm so glad you enjoyed it lol. I knew you would. The only song that didn't come through was we are the champions
yeah so sad. I went off on that one lol really enjoyed it.
Enjoy!❤
1985 Live Aid Setlist for Queen:

2. Radio Gaga

Freddy was drinking water with honey because he had a throat infection n his doctor advised him not to do this concert but as u see they did it anyway... The song Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Freddy wrote that song in ten minutes n it was his tribute to Elvis....
This was the closest I can be to re-live the feeling I felt when I was a kid and first heard Queen..Thank you ❤
How many viewers did Live Aid 1985 have?
In addition to 75,000 concertgoers on site at Wembley Stadium, almost two billion people watched the spectacle on television!!!!!!
There was 73,000 people at a stadium Prince Charles and Princess Diana was there also and other royalty rest in peace Freddie Mercury❤❤😊😊😊😊
So many people!! Were they loved as much as they are now? Most of the time people get their flowers after they are gone
There's 70,000 to 80,000 ppl and Freddie controls each and every one of them
David Bowie was in the wings watching and when Freddie left the stage bowie said to Freddie how am I supposed to follow that you bastard
¡¡¡El mejor concierto, pura energía!!! ❤💪💪💪💪
LOVE YOUR REACTION😊 YOU REALLY DO FEEL THE MUSIC😅 Keep having a GOOD TIME and keep playing QUEEN
RIP FREDDIE MERCURY 11/24/1991 ❤🎤🎸🎶❤
Love your reaction. Thank you ❤. Love you Freddie and all Queen members ❤️❤️
Imagine moving around the stage like that with a mic connected to a cord. Back in the day we had “bands” and they were better live with the energy they brought to the stage.
Who ever doubled the words, thank you so very much, they were almost unheard😊😊❤ Freddie forever❤❤
You would be a blast to go to a Queen concert with, or any concert for that matter! 😊
You have to watch Who wants to live forever live at Wembley, White Queen live, and You take my breathe away live
1. Bohemian Rhapsody (watch official video)
2. Radio GaGa
3. Ay-Oh with audience
4. Hammer To Fall
5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love
6. We Will Rock You
7. We Are The Champions
The first song was Bohemian Rhapsody a song Freddie wrote himself, and you only heard part of the song on this performance, the original version is 6 minutes long and was considered one of the best songs ever written,Checkout the original!

Help share if you liked it. All love
This was shown around the world, of course, it was the whole concert many other bands were there , Queen was the last band, they all had 20 minutes
Absolutly not.. Queen was followed by Bowie and the WHO.. Bowie said during the change"how can I follow a show like this one" .
Nice reaction. Crazy little thing called love is a tribute to Elvis. Freddie wrote this one in his bathtub took him like 10 mins
The first song was *Bohemian Rhapsody * - the song that made them superstars.
The 2018 movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" is fantastic, fills in some gaps and questions, and the casting was beyond incredible.
The movie has a lot of inaccuracies. There are many great documentaries that are better.

How can something semi fictional fill in any gaps? 😂 It was mostly over santisied crap to appeal to kids and Americans.
The original video of Bohemian Rhapsody 1975 has over a Billion views for a very good reason ❤

Easy on the "f" bombs, a lot of kids watch these videos.
damn. didn't want to let his fans down!!! what a man
the kids knew that word at kindergarten, probably from you. Don't be such a prude. ps you had to edit that?
Songs Performed:
Beginning of Bohemian Rhapsody (original song is 7 minutes)
Radio Ga-Ga
Ay-Oh call and response
Hammer to Fall
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
We Will Rock You
We Are the Champions
Bohemian Rapsody is perhaps the best song ever written.

We love this music
Freddie wrote the song for Elvis after he died.
There are a lot of live shows on youtube, there are videos and programs about Queen.
Freddie Forever Loved XX
You need to do the official video of the 1st song Bohemian Rhapsody then you will know what a masterpiece it is .
Just your luck. I JUST UPLOADED THE REACTION!!!! lol
Welcome to the Rabbit Hole 🥰✌🏼
Freddie''s crowd control level is over 9000!!!! Even Sir Elton John by remarked that Queen completely stole the entire concert. Crazy Little Thing Called Love was Freddie's homage to Elvis. Not an Elvis song, in Elvis style.
Amazing performance of Queen @ live Aid 1985
Greetings from germany and thank you for this video from my absolute favorite band Queen .
Greatings from Suriname, happy you seen my video
Never has there been a performance like this. 75,000 people commanded by one man in a concert watched by billions of people worldwide, all to raise money for African famine relief? This shows the true POWER of Freddie Mercury, and the influence music has on the world. If I had a time machine, this concert would be my first stop!
He had the whole world in his hand, and he knew it !
Someone still luv U!!!!
I have been listen from 1985, 2024.
I have to tell you, Queen were even better when you saw them live on stage! They have given me many happy memories. I saw them about 6-7 times,in London as well as Milton Keynes Bowl.
Sorry I meant 1981 montreal live
Hey Lisa I will check it out for sure. May be up later today
Queen were live aid ❤i was 13 at the time . Totally fantastic ❤rip Freddie
Why are you so nice🥹. I love you too. Hoping to build a virtual family here. You guys are the best
The drink he took was tea with honey.
Ahh for his voice. Thank you!
Metallica's concert in Moscow they had 1.6 million people. Song is Enter Sandman
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY
radio gaga great line
And this performance by Freddie with a throat infection and was told by doctors not to perform
The radio song is where Lady GaGa got her stage name
