Great video. Excellent family explanation. I finally got where Tracy came from. And Gavin, my husband and I are soooooo proud of you. 😉 Our horses are just two big dogs. My husband mainly takes care of them (really all the time) and they are fun to watch. His horse Hero likes to rest his head on his shoulder but standing from behind as if they were both looking at the same thing. My daughter's horse Precious (he was thought to be female when born/ don't ask) likes to sneak up from behind and nudge his head under your arm, as if asking for a hug. We call he "Snap Shot the Third", not camera shy at all. They are both geldings. They don't like the vet, but love their farrier.

I really do appreciate the family tree. And the horse affection question. Your future children should you choose to have children will be "Double Cousins"with Andrew's children. Which is kind of cool. And about pets showing affection, I once went on a trip. And when I came back and anxiously picked up my dog, Maggie Mae, from the boarder, she did something special. When we got home and I let her out of the truck, she leaned up against my legs. It felt just like a hug to me. Pets are amazing.

Absolutely LOVED the family tree! It made everything so much more clear. I think Timothy and Tyler are the only names I'm not that familiar with. The Veggie Girls lines at the end of the video had me cracking up. When I heard most of them are from Florida it also made me laugh. I live in Florida and I can see why they'd want to get away from the heat down here. I'm sure they all saw how wonderful the Ochs family was and found it easy to fall in love with the boys. Who wouldn't want a family like that? I wish Petey all the best with his new job! Gavin's doing a great job with the videos. =) When I was in my 20s, I always felt my Red horse showed his love through respect. He was a REALLY spooky horse, especially when he got in a field, but when it came down to brass tacks all of the sudden he'd be 100%. I remember going on a trail ride where they were digging a huge gas thing in the woods that was like 5 floors deep. The trail was right on the edge of the ditch and while everyone else got off their horses and walked them by it, I was the only one who knew at the time that my spooky horse had it under control. I crossed by it without incident and didn't have to get off my horse. He was 16+ hands and I was 5'3" so it was a bit of a thing to get up and down on him on the trail. We had an incredibly strong connection. When he would see my car pull up in the parking lot, he'd actually come down from the pasture and I had no problem at all grooming him, cleaning his hoofs, etc. God, he was a good horse. Even 40 years later I miss him dearly.
next AMA What's your favorite and least favorite thing about farm life? My Mom was raised on a farm, so we spent at least a month every summer with our grandparents there. MY favorite things were the sounds and smells. My least favorite thing was my lack of knowledge due to only spending a few weeks there every year.
By watching I had most of the family figured out but you filled in the gaps nicely. My mother and dad met and started going together through my mom and my dads cousin were friends. They remained friends all through their lives.
