Hi - I have a question regarding the calculation of losses. If segment 2 and 3 are considered as a combined segment - the loss in force would be different since the mu x alpha term is repeated. Is there a reason why the cables were then segmented that way? What is the best practice to consider when segmenting the cables for a discrete calculation?
i watch ur lectures it is so useful and containing excellent explaination if you could make afull lectures for designing bridges i would be thankful , and upload ur slides here so we can download it , thank you
