In just a few minutes, you've explained what a tiered transit system is. I've been trying for years to get peoples to understand that trams aren't a one size fits all transit needs, and its just been a struggle.

The bus station at the hub could probably serve as a tourbus depot for international/interplanetarial tourism groups interested in seeing Asturis's sights and landmarks.

Very nice to see a comprehensive overview of the transit systems and, really, any chance to see cinematics of Asturis is a pleasure.

I'm curious as to whether there was ever intended to be seabound public transit? There is the massive passenger ship in the smaller harbor, though Asturis certainly is more than beautiful enough to warrant an offshore tour just to admire the cityscape and get a view of the elevator. A ferry system could've been interesting to see worked into the river districts, where I'm sure the shoreline aspect of each property makes for a somewhat higher density and the water naturally necessitates transport options in places the bridges aren't as nearby to.

There was a cargo ferry system, but the mod broke, he removed it.

There was supposed to be a network using the barges mod, but because it broke in the last update, Akruas scrapped the idea completely. Eventually when a fix was found, it was too late as the series was already finished by then.

Asturis is such an incredible city. I've loved watching you build it over the last couple of years.

Very well designed considering the dimension of the city, even if I am not a fan of having a unique big hub right in the center, because creates the idea that is a city designed from the station and transit lines and not the opposite (but in a futuristic city is not relevant). Public transport is my thing, now I would wait for ride videos of them! (I know you made some)

One thing I don’t understand is why this high spread railway trains don’t stop at the hub. They surly suppose to bring passengers to space elevator from big cities far away

They are supposed to stop at the hub. But just at the hub and nowhere else in the city. From a visual perspective its gameplay limitations id guess.

The one we've been following doesn't seem to stop. Given that we got a 4-track line, I guess some are just going through as they go from one outside to another outside?

It's interesting to see the paralell between this series and 60s/70s Altengrad as the dream of the (neo)Modernist city vs the realization of Modernist projects in a historical context.
Accepting of course that your vision for Asturis is perhaps more New Urbanist, it still has a lot of Modernist features embedded.

It would be a bit helpful to see not just the lines, but also the stops, especially for the train lines which don't stop too often. The stops are actually more important for the coverage than the lines themselves. (Just as a hint for the next time you do such an overview.)

I don't get why the intercity line doesn't stop in the city? Id want to get off there!!! Id love to see a garden city if there are enough assets if you build another city. Like super green and tall skyscrapers with plants. Like the airport in Singapore. Or maybe lots of underground roads and subterranean transport and then skypaths/cycle paths and gardens floating all around the city. Its cool seeing the transport though and appreciate its not realistic at all to have a lot of it hidden underground but I like the idea.

Agree. It should have a single stop if it's a decent size. Otherwise it might avoid the city all together.
High speed rail is expensive and land in a city is a premium. It makes no sense to have a dedicated high speed line plowing through a city without stopping.

Tbh rather than it be for intercity buses it should've probably been for those sight seeing tourism busses.

It does stop, just not all trains on it do. Just like how irl some trains skip some cities.

Yeah. I don't really want to see arkus struggle with vanilla. As fun as the base game is, it is very flawed for his typical projects.
