Plans for new Bath Rugby Stadium to go on show

Bath Rugby has today confirmed the club will be revealing new designs to the public for the redevelopment of the club’s current stadium at The Rec.
The stadium plans will go on show at the club’s final home game vs Saracens on 6 May 14:00-16:00, as well as on Wednesday 10 May at Widcombe Social Club from 11:00-19:00 and will also be available online at www.bathrugby.com from 6 May.

The design by Mark Wilson Jones is beautiful and truly adds to the ancient city of Bath in the Roman tradition. It would be an attraction for millions. Indeed, if cost is the issue concerning the stonework, the Stadtschloss in Berlin was crowdfunded. This could work here too

In a roman style this would be a dream and totally compliment the history of the city and club. I hope it happens, not sure an 18,000 seater is big enough I was hoping for a 22,000 seater but will but (amazing) even at 18,000.
