    About Video Game Sophistry:
Video Game Sophistry is an opportunity to celebrate the creators and the artistry found in Video Games. I believe that Games are the most effective medium from experiencing another world, and another way to live. Expect to see a series of videos showcasing the narratives hidden in every game, interviews with game developers, along with our bench mark weekly podcast, Dialogue Wheel.
Andy Borkowski started this program nearly 10 years ago and, in that time, it has changed from a simple RUclips show, to a radio show, a tv show and now once again a RUclips destination. Welcome to VGS.

eh, i think itd be a little on the nose. even if it was only the last part of an expansion pack.
most likely what we'll get is a couple DLCs which can take place at any time after act 1, and an expansion pack which takes place after the game is finished.

Is it my delusion or is Morrigan just sounding more and more like her mother?

Émile Delattre pretty much they both desire power but morrigan isn't willing to sacrifice her family/son / husband the hassel (hof) to get it unlike flemeth

That sounds like all manner of a bad idea. We still have two blights just waiting to happen, but even were that not the case entering the Black City is enormous gamble, even were one to desire godhood.

Actually to be honest during that time possible the time the 'dread wolf' created the veil splitting the fade from the world....So doesn't that mean theirs a possibility that Solas actions created the blight as a side effect? He was trapping the old gods and that's who the magisters intended to confront so maybe they got blighted being caught between the cut off point?

Donny Kitsune I don't know, we know that some of the chant of light is real, and we know that solas also spoke truth. So would that also make solas the maker? Or are they two being? What happened first solas raising the vale or the majisters entering the black city? And who cast the magisters from the city?

@Chuwie First, Corypheus himself said, that golden city was already black when they entered it. I still think that magisters didn't enter golden city, but maybe they entered place, where rest of the Evanuris(or however those malevolent "elven gods" are named) are imprisoned and they "contracted" them with taint. And as we saw, elves were clearly nuts, when they ruled. Lol those elven gods were like elven variation of tevinter magisters. They killed Titan(maybe TITANS), they were selling one another into slavery. Then they were banished by Fen'harel into the fade, beyond veil. And when magisters entered their prison, they were infected. That could also explain, why the taint needs old god to be "more powerful". It's simple revenge, cause when elven gods last heard about old gods, they were worshipped in Tevinter, so they decided to turn them against their worshippers.

I kinda feel that the black city is the seat of creation. Entering it would allow one to alter the thedas as a spirit might alter the fade. Perhaps this is how fen'harel created the veil
