I am very curious about the Dwarves in Tevinter as well as their history. Saw a DA 2 cut-scene involving corphy. He mentioned humans as dwarven slaves. Interesting.
+Stefan Langeveld Well, all we know at the moment is that dwarves have had a long and strong relationship with Tevinter - and dwarves of the Ambassadoria (who live in places in Tevinter which are considered to reside in the Stone, hence no loss of caste) are fairly common and very respected there - to such a point that there are no known dwarven slaves in Tevinter. Isn't this before you become Inquisitor? Why does Dorian refer to you as if you've already been coronated, or whatever that process of becoming Inquisitor is called?
Tariq Muhammad It depends on how often you've talked to Dorian. If I remember correctly from my own playthroughs, if you're playing as a mage, he'll say this dialogue before the event at Haven if you talk to him enough, or after Haven when you become Inquisitor.
Maybe they were born in the Qun but taken away from it when being very young? Well either that or they are child to a Tal Vashoth...to be fair they never go into much detail there
The worse thing about this is, Dorian's dialogue was written by the creator of Dragon Age David Gaider. If there's someone who can get the lore right you'd think it would be him.
I think that's actually intentional, to demonstrate that people in Thedas do not know nor care about the difference. There's actually codex entry in the game where a goat herder attempts to explain the same thing. Dwarf messiah I could get used to that. My headcanon for for my playthrough was that since both the warden and the inquisitor was dwarves played some part in varric being named vicount since dwarf leaders had done very well on the surface lateley

The game can be a little inconsistent. Adaar is Vashoth, not Tal Vashoth
Yep. I hate all the times you're called Tal-Vashoth. Adaar isn't a Qun deserter or some bandit, they are a merc born and raised away from the Qun.

What assassins that try to kill you with a roadblock? I like Zevran but the Antivan crows seem to be like children in terms of tactics.
