I love how Raeen always takes care of the others.
I think it seems clear raeen sees the younger folk as those to guide and babu as someone to act as his further support. Reputation is everything in small villages. Injuries to babu or the younger folk would make babu or raeen lose credibility
He's naturally curious and very smart. A true lad. If he had access to formal education, he'd be unstoppable.

I love the way Raeen looks after Babu. Always helping him, always making suggestions. Meanwhile, Sarru is on his own! And this is exactly the way it should be. Respect for elders!
in old families and traditional villages. Elders in these groups are so respected its generally considered an honor to be going on a trip with one. I can tell raeen not only respects babu. He is well aware that both babu and his own reputation are on the line should anything happen to babu or one of the younger members. Considering babu has already said the only reason many of them are allowed to leave is based off his reputation in the village
No it shouldnt. Doesn't hurt to help a clueless youngster as well. This kjnd of toxicity is why youngsters nowsadays are having so many mental health issues.

I know that eating with your hands is a common cultural practice in India, but I couldn't help but cringe when they were using their hands to take things off the buffet. Babu, Raeen, and Sarru are so polite and respectful I'm sure they would have used the tongs if someone simply asked them to.

I am English and have never been abroad but have many foreign friends. Whenever we have eat together they always comment how quickly us Brits rush our food, which is true IMO.
They should eat slowly, time to absorb all the pathogens they transferred handling the food at the Buffet line with their hands and mask less at a Buffet line without Sneeze Shields. Yummy.

The laissez faire attitude missed the working class, better eat like you don't know when the next meal will be so you can get back to work! I feel like family meal time being a way to relax and talk with each other, at least in increasing amount here, has gone by the wayside.

That was discusting! 🤮🤮🤮 Ok to grab and eat food with your hands if you're home with family and friends but that was a public place. Here a restaurant would have thrown out the foods touched, closed down the area to decontaminate. Some places will ask you to leave because you endangered other costumers health.. Is not about culture is about being thoughtful of public health. DO YOU WANT TO EAT THAT TOUCHED FOOD?🤮🤮🤮

Playing in dirty water, eating each other’s food. Doesn’t seem to be bothering them either. Babu is looking spunky for a man his age I must say. As are they all. ✌️💥😎
@@cathynb9205 Just a friendly reminder, I spent a lot of my life traveling, to so many different places in this world, and the thing I was always conscious of is that contamination is contamination...I have been to places that walking barefoot can lead to internal parasites that can kill you...Bacteria can be very dangerous even when you are native to that region...I visited Uganda many years ago and while swimming in northern Lake Victoria, my friend swallowed a little of the water...The parasite she ingested burrowed out of her colon and she had to be Med-Evaced to South Africa where they were sure she wasn't going to make it. She then was flown to the U.S and went through hell...I too ate mud and dirt, it wasn't a good idea then and isn't a good idea now...
Sadly, buffet style restaurants may be a thing of the past after COVID. Here in the USA, many have already shut down, or have gone into bankruptcy. They were even struggling before COVID, and now even if a small percentage of customers stop coming due to social distancing concerns, they are in really deep trouble.
they will return after the covid, the same happened in my country, they were empty and some closed, but now there's lines going around the block
Buffets in Bangkok are packed. I went to one 3 weeks ago.
Some of the Las Vegas buffets are open now.
First of all Raeen sure does love to eat. These guys really are such big hearted and respectful to each other and it really fills my heart with joy. Just watching how Raeen takes care of everybody else and how they share with each other people would truly think they are family and even though these things are so new to them they just fit right in like they have been there or done it before. They also truly enjoy each other’s company. I was also wondering that before this channel started did they ever know each other before or they met on the show. I really enjoy watching these guys and I’m in the US and if the people here just had a third of the respect they have for other people just how much better the US would be. You really picked the best guys possible for your show. Not only do I enjoy the show but I have to say I’ve learned a lot about being more caring. Thankyou very much.

They are all so sweet and Raeen looked after Babu making sure that he had the containers and food as they went through the buffet. What a great experience for them to try out new food items. I have really enjoyed watching their out and about adventures and hope to see more in the future. They seem to have a great time.

This is so humbling to watch, how we take things for granted, sometimes I have tears in my eyes watching them, I come from what is called a deprived area of Glasgow Scotland, I live like a wealthy person compared to these wonderful men, yet I’m classed as poor, love the expressions on their faces and how such little things bring them so much joy, bless them all, so glad they got all these wonderful experiences x

What i wouldn't give to be able to bring them to the USA and show them some real local southern buffets, These guys grow on me more and more with every video and i can tell they would appreciate every single bit of a trip to the USA.

Regarding Jelabi , the dessert. A few years ago , I saw a movie called "Lion" based on the true story of Saroo Brierley, an Indian boy who was lost and adopted. In the movie, he loved Jelabi. Luckily, in my city in Australia , only some Indian restaurants serve Jelabi. I finally had it. I was happy to share that sweet from the movie.

“Golden Corral” the place is clean, the variety of foods, desserts and ice cream are awesomely delicious.

That's one point, but the bigger one, is that there were tools/utensils to use to get the food with, and they still used their hands.

Utensils are pretty new to mankind in general and not everyone uses them. It was their first time ever in a buffet and maybe the videographers first time too. Y'all are thinking with your western heads. We didn't know certain things til they were introduced to us. Same will be for them

Now that they've experienced this buffet they might also want to see how large and varied buffets are in the US, which might have 50+ items rather than 8. However, as some of the main channel videos are somewhat educational, it would be good to realistically show a buffet in action from start to close, such as how many extremely morbidly obese people frequent those buffets and how much food is wasted.

Man, Indian food is so good. On a craving i checked and discovered there is NO Indian resturant in my hometown where i am presently (Lévis, QC). Even in Québec City (closest big city across the river) it is hard to find, not super authentic and they are far from the city center. Whereas, we have sushi joints, Thai food, Chinese, etc. I wonder why no Indian. I can't wait to be in Montréal, Toronto or Vancouver to eat it again. ❤I miss vegetable pakora and naan bread! EDITED TO ADD : Well they had naan and butter chicken sauce and korma sauce at the grocery store. Just need to make some rice and lentils, yum yum!
It's good to let them make their own choices, but we should also be telling them proper ettique for eating at a buffet. They shouldn't be touching the food with their bare hands.

Gobi Manchurian is also one of my favorite foods. The meat versions of the recipe are also good. Cauliflower is so versatile.

They would really be surprised at an American buffet like Golden Corral or Ryan's not to mention one of the big Chinese buffets we also have here. Corona has put a damper on them at this moment though.
I was mortified when I saw them putting there hands on the food in the buffet and Babu putting things back from his plate that Raeen and he had both had there hands on. Cmon team you have to teach them what's sanitary and what's not.

I remember the very first time I went to a buffet I did not know the rules and brought my same plate back up twice, didnt get a new one and man did people flip out on me! Seeing alot of that in the comments. Nothing was explained to them people and the crew explained why. I get it, its gross. But chill.
