Why do I love seeing the EN beat type Rs 😂😂
Probably just because it’s cheaper. The EN DCT gives it the advantage. I’m like 90% sure a manual EN would lose to the type r by a decent margin

@@JVette01That is pretty much exactly what happens, yeah. Check out the Edmunds U-Drag video. They get off the line very even but toward the end of the 1/4 mile, the Type R’s extra hp lets it comfortably pull away by a decent amount. That said, C&D did a 0-150-0 test and after 100mph, the manual EN claws back and beats the Type R to 150mph due to the Type R having more drag

It's not unusual to see an auto beat manual lol... and yes, the GR Corolla auto will be interesting to see. Hopefully it's a good trans.. Toyotas usually have very slow transmissions..

It's not overpriced.. the price point makes sense and they have shockingly good resale as well.
Overpriced? We’ll see who has better resale value. Looks are subjective but the Elantra isn’t a very good looking car.

Yeah no. Savagegeese just did this a week ago. Stock type r still pulls the dct. That fl5 is not tuned. Guy has no idea what he's talking about and if he bought an amspeed intake for desert use he's not the brightest to begin with. Hot air intake.

It’s a pop tune, seems to be oriented toward popping and not performance. Intakes usually have very minimal gains. Manual trans combined with having a passenger and these results make sense.
